This was a fun read! Joãs sent me a message about his book, and this is the first time someone has asked me to read their book (and I’m always looking for a new recommendation), so I obviously said yes.
While I was reading it, I kept going back and forth from feeling like I was reading true crime to feeling like I was in someone’s head (think Mr. Robot).. I flew through this book, and I didn’t expect the twist at the end. I enjoyed the character development and the back and forth through time.

This book is one of the darkest and most intense stories I’ve ever written. It follows two teenagers who enter their school armed, triggering a brutal, chaotic, and deeply disturbing chain of events. Through their fractured perspectives, the story dives into fear, trauma, and the twisted unraveling of the human mind.
My goal with this novel was to create a raw, uncomfortable, and immersive experience — the kind of horror that doesn’t rely on monsters, but on the terrifying reality of what people can become. It’s violent, emotional, and intentionally unsettling.
