Some loves never die. Some murders refuse to stay buried.

Swamp tour guide Beau Landry has lived his whole life in the shadow of his mother’s unsolved murder—and the guilt of being the one who found her. He’s sunshine on the surface, haunted underneath… until an FBI agent enters his world with dangerous questions and eyes that see too much.

Adeline Tate doesn’t miss patterns. A cold-case closer with a reputation for ending killers’ games, she knows Beau’s mother wasn’t the serial killer’s first victim—or his last. The clock is ticking, the body count is rising, and getting close to Beau may be the key to stopping him.

Their attraction is instant. Consuming. Familiar in ways that defy logic—and death.

As evil circles closer and the past bleeds into the present, Beau and Addy must decide what they’re willing to their hearts, their lives… or a love that’s survived lifetimes.

Blood Moon Bayou by Dawn Love pulled me into a dark, atmospheric world that felt rich with mystery and tension. The bayou setting was honestly one of my favorite parts—it added this eerie, almost haunting vibe that made everything feel more intense and immersive. The story had a strong suspense element that kept me hooked. There were moments where I genuinely needed to know what was going to happen next, and I flew through parts of it because of that. The darker themes and secrets woven throughout gave it that addictive edge.

This was my first experience reading a Dawn Love book and can I just say...wow!!!
Set in New Orleans...in the Bayou it was a rich, full of mystery and intrigue read.
The characters are extremely well written along with the secondary characters too. It has murder, occult, spirits and oh my the spice.
This will definitely not the only book of hers I'll read.
Highly recommend...5 ⭐️ all the way.
