The interwar period is quickly coming to an end, which means Zane has just thirty years to prepare himself for the final showdown—the day the Superdungeon breaks.
To face the challenge, he’ll put himself through Boot Camp with the Barbarian Sage—a training camp that’ll pit him against Kaijuu, some of the most physically dominant forces in the Galaxy, so that he’ll become one himself.
And then he’ll break through to True God. And, under Reina’s supervision, take in as many shards as he can, even as the System Store unlocks new resources ripe for the taking.
Then it’s time for the End.
The Greater Endbringers, the Primes, and the Monster Overlord itself—the greatest threats Dragonspire has ever known—will descend all at once.
It’s time—once, and for all—to prove he has what it takes. Even if it means he’ll have to put the weight of the Galaxy on his back.
This is the final book of Savage Awakening. Don't miss this action-packed blend of LitRPG Apocalypse and Xianxia perfect for fans of Defiance of the Fall, The Primal Hunter, and Solo Leveling!
Great story here. Sometimes, throughout the series, some things seemed really slow and sometimes not. Some characters had depth others did not. Honest review comment.... why did you have decent character story builds/ back stories on Even and Avery. Seems like in the beginning books you were going to go somewhere with them. Then they just became "gimmiks" annoying points and diologues in the story. Those characters just became annoying to the flow and seriousness of the story's content. One is portrayed 'Avery' as absolutely lazy and irresponsible. The other 'Even' nieve and fragile. Both characters started strong. Then you just washed them up. I'd say if you didn't want to build up those characters as was originally intended, then you could have just killed them off. We wouldn't have been slammed with main story tension backlash, with uneventful "really not important friends updates." All it conveyed was how dumb and not important thos characters became. Like you just wanted us as readers to have a slap in the face of "poor writing form." They could have been cool and pivotal. But they were absolutely side-lined. You could have killed them off to some heroic deed. Why, than did you even keep them. Aside from all that, the story was pretty amazing!!!
Back to 2 stars - but just because it was the last book. I wanted to go on a rant about everything, but in the end is what you get when you go self-published, only in this case with everything going wrong. The progression part is ridiculous. It starts like that in book 1-2 but by the end the author just spews out important sounding words until he runs out of breath and the ULTIMATE is sheer size? Of course, all those concepts don't come in any logical order... ill stop here before I restart the rant.
Another glaring thing is that from the start, the MC is touting his size, and how is good to be big(he means strong) -er than your opponent and this continues through the story, brought up again and again to show how "down to earth" the MC is, while at the same time fighting 90% of the time against bigger and stronger opponents.
Nothing is really explained, everything is confusing and characters are unreal but still simple cartoon cutouts.
The system comes. There is a big guy that beats everyone and gets the girl. The guy is the bestest and everyone is amazed by it. The end. There... I just wrote a better book.
Absolutely amazing series, i may not have been here for the start but i was here for the end and glad for it. and the final fight and epilog was amazing, perfect ending for a saga. But…. It feelx like the end of a saga not the end of a series or verse. There were just too many many loose ends and cool concepts to end here. So it is for that reason, that i will wait. And even if its in 3 years or 10. Take your time, we’ll be there and see you in the next one friends.
I like the ending. A lot. I like the way you handle the last boss too. It plays well with the setup of a wider world, and him having been a really big fish in a small pond.
I don't know if you'll continue this universe or not, but I like the setup you have. And starting it with the next level being transcendent
I do think you probably shouldn't scale the power to awful much higher. If the wider universe has things five times stronger than Zane as common, it's going to get a little unbelievable that there's anything left lol
This is a fantastic series and it got an ending it deserved. From start to finish, nonstop fun and great storytelling. I absolutely love that the author decided to actually complete the story, instead of just continuing and milking it. Nothing but respect for their ability!
Lived the series! This last book felt a bit rushed. Several edit notes were left in (something about a hairpin) and one chapter was repeated same with the hairpin! Still an excellent series overall!
A perfect end to an awesome story often there would be something I didn't really like about books I read while this series had redundant amount of training filler the series was great
Although it was quite a wait for the last book to come out, I feel the wait was well worth it. The training montage was super satisfying and seeing the culmination of all of the progression thus far was incredibly satisfying.
Enjoyable, but FULL, completion of Dragon Spire. Solid ride, loved that Zane stayed OP and the story leaned into that. Hope the story continues, if not, the end leaves a feeling of completion.
Such an amazing story. Hate it that its over now. Always feel like I am saying a final goodbye to great friend. Thank you Adastra for writing this story. Looking forward to your next book.
What an ending. I only hope that adastra339 follows up with a wider universe series as this seemed to be the end.
Zane still has a long journey to go and I am excited about what that will look like and particularly if he will go and visit Aiwe in the imperial palace.

An awesome series that I mostly listened to and it felt maybe more real to do so, but this final book with its slowish start ended up with everything you would want.this was a great, fun, exciting, amusing and perfect.
