I’m not a mother, and never wanted to be. However found this book such a compelling read. The interspersed stories of her family & growing up alongside the trials of IVF, etc., bound the story together. No tears but still a moving account.
I was really struggling with this book. Put it down countless of times, and then picked it up again, just beacuse I never leave book unfinished. This is a story about infertility. And just about that. Because she describes what they had to go through. It is terrible and I feel deeply for them, but it could be more of a story. I just felt like they went from one appointment to the other. Those stories in between I didn't understand. They made no sense to me.
