Pinocchio Lives #1: Blood and Circuits

Honest reviews are always appreciated
Neon City is a fever dream soaked in bourbon, blood, and bad wiring.
This isn’t your daddy’s cyberpunk. This is Gibson on a three-day meth binge, Thompson riding shotgun with a scattergun full of truth serum. It’s sexbots preaching revolution in Latin. It’s drones naming themselves after dead heroes. It’s a man teaching a machine how to want—and a machine teaching him how to live.
In a city that forgot how to dream, one ghost in a shattered machine is about to wake the whole goddamn place up.
And when Pinocchio lives…
the world burns.
Cyberpunk that bites.
Love that kills.
A revolution that starts with a laugh like a knife through bone.
Buy the ticket.
Take the ride.
Just don’t look in the mirror too long.
The opening to the new Cyberpunk horror series Pinocchio Lives

(Trigger extreme violence, explicit language, trauma, body horror)

Fantastic quick read

This introductory story perfectly builds the world that makes a reader want to dive back into. The writing is visceral without being vulgar, which is a line very well walked. Without spoiling any story elements, I hope in the next book of the series the inner dialogue gets more presence, it really helped to understand the why of the characters.

Not something I’d usually read, but I liked it. If your cup of tea is darkly funny and dystopian, then this is right up your alley! The author does a great job of creating imagery that sticks with you, and also makes all the techno talk seem viable. Definitely worth a read!

Wtf did I just read. Cyberpunk love story with a dystopian feel. This is what the future holds for us lol. I honestly couldn't not put this down. It was full of action and was very uniquely written. Really good read and the only reason I have it 3 start was because there is alot of confusing parts throughout the story.

This is one of my first si-fi book. It drew me in and I was not expecting the twist at all. I would recommend for sure. I’m ready for book two.
