Being the daughter of a motorcycle club president, isn't always easy. The hardest part is dating. Most men are terrified of the club and want nothing to do with me because of it. The men who aren't... they're probably club members and I'm off limits to them. If they're part of a different club, they're definitely off limits. If you mix that with the job of having to cook for the club, I'm ready to run away from this place just to be able to live the life I want to live.
I know she's looking to run and I can't let that happen. Sure, I could blame it on being the vice-president of the Savage Wolves and it being my duty to watch out for the triplets, but I'd be lying. I don't want her to run because she's all I've ever wanted. All I've ever cared about. I need to find a way to make her stay and I don't care what I have to do to make it happen.
closed door romance, motorcycle club, opposites attract, protector romance, small town romance, forbidden love, age gap, he falls hard, he'll burn the world down to save her, forced proximity, friends to lovers
Kristin is a closed door romance author. She writes new adult, romantic suspense, romantic comedy, tattoo artist, doctor/medical, police, small town, and sports romances. Every book includes humor and a quick punch in the feels, leaving you laughing, crying, and swooning. Kristin lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, kids, dogs and cats. When she’s not writing she enjoys sewing, making crafts, reading, hiking and camping with her family. She started writing when her husband was away and became bored after the kids were put to bed at night. She splits her time between being a stay at home mom, writing, and homeschooling. She spend years working in the operating room and loves to bring some of that experience into her books.
This is not the “typical” MC romance and doesn’t cross into the dark and dirty realm. It is about being not only a triplet but the daughter of the MC’s President who is a chef and cooks for the club. Storm, the club’s VP, is older and he loves Dixie but knows he shouldn’t act on it but when he is put in charge of protecting Dixie feelings are hard to ignore. This is a sweet MC romance for those who like a light touch to their books.
Savage Love is a rough-around the edges type of contemporary romance set in the dangerous, loyalty-driven world of a motorcycle club. The story follows "Dixie" the daughter of an MC(Motorcycle Club) president who has grown up surrounded by rules, reputations, and men who treat her as untouchable. Enter "Storm", club’s vice president, older, disciplined, and bound by duty who finds himself fighting an attraction that could disrupt both their lives and the club’s fragile balance. What unfolds is a forbidden, slow-burn romance layered with tension, loyalty conflicts, and the struggle to claim love in a world where power and protection often override personal freedom.
One of the novel’s strengths is its emotional tension. The author leans confidently into popular tropes- age gap, forbidden love, proximity, and protective alpha hero and executes them in a way that keeps the chemistry simmering. Again, the motorcycle club environment adds grit to this romance and substance to the stakes, making sure that the overall experience is anything but mundane and overly romanticized. The overwhelming sense of loyalty and family within the MC only adds deeper emotional layers and raises the stakes for the love story between Dixie and Storm. Dixie and Storm have their own special moments that are soft and you just can't help but say how romantic all of it is- Instances where he cooks for her and calls her Little Fox affectionately. Storm getting annoyed when anyone calls him Stormy but doesn't mind when Dixie does its all so beautiful.
However, the book does rely heavily on familiar romance conventions. Some plot turns feel predictable, especially for someone who has read other seasoned MC-romance novels. At times, secondary characters and subplots could have been developed more fully, as they occasionally feel like background devices rather than fully realized individuals. The pacing may also feel uneven certain emotional beats are stretched for tension while other conflicts resolve more quickly than expected.
What could be improved is a deeper exploration of the heroine’s independence outside her romantic arc. While the romance drives the story effectively, expanding her personal ambitions or internal conflicts would add more dimension. The club politics, too, could be layered with more complexity to elevate the stakes beyond romantic tension alone and for all this I think the book could be a little longer as with just 100 pages(approx) this feels more like a novella than a novel. Overall, Savage Love delivers exactly what its target audience expects passion, loyalty, and danger but with a bit more nuance and unpredictability, it could have risen from solid genre entry to standout MC romance.
5 ⭐️ ♾️ 📕: Savage Love by Kristin MacQueen Why you’ll love this book! Closed Door Romance MC President Daughter Small Town Romance Grumpy x Sunshine Touch Her & ☠️ Friends To Lovers Forbidden Romance Motorcycle Club Romance Age Gap Romance Forced Proximity Opposites Attract Suspense Shared Past This book will have you rooting for Storm and Dixie from the beginning the protectiveness Storm has for Dix is unmatched he would give his life for her in a second no questions asked.. However will his loyalty to the club and President Porter Dixie’s dad be the reason he doesn’t fully commit?
Dixie is one of President Porter’s triplet daughters. They are his world and he would do anything to keep them safe! He has a rule no one dates the girls!
Dixie’s is the calm of the triplets sometimes she maybe over looked but don’t count her out or you will regret it! She can be strong and bold when needed! She has always had a crush on Storm but she knew he wouldn’t choose her over the club or will he? Dixie is the cook for the club she has her culinary degree but her dad only lets her cook at the club for her safety.
Chopper, Artie, Oakley, Roxy, Jasper, and Morris I loved them all the banter between this group and the ball busting that happened in this book kept me in tears laughing. Artie stole my heart he maybe 80 years old but when you meet you’ll understand he is amazing!
I can’t wait to read the next book in the second book of Savage Wolves I dying to read Chopper & Roxy’s story now but I know the wait will be worth it!
This closed-door romance was quite heart melting. I enjoyed reading Dixie and Storm's story. Plenty of emotions and feelings to explore as these two tug at your heartstrings and leave you swooning.
Savage Love by Kristin MacQueen completely pulled me into the world of the Savage Wolves MC with a forbidden romance that had me rooting for Storm and Dixie from the very beginning. Their shared history, years of hidden feelings, fierce protectiveness, and the enormous obstacle standing between them make this the kind of friends-to-lovers story where you're desperately waiting for someone to finally admit what everyone else can already see.
Dixie may be the quieter of President Porter's triplet daughters, but I loved discovering just how much strength is hiding beneath that calm exterior. She's spent her life surrounded by the club, yet the very people determined to protect her are also keeping her from truly living. She has a culinary degree and dreams of more, but her father's rules have left her feeling trapped. Watching Dixie begin to question what she wants—and whether she's willing to fight for it—made me love her even more.
And then there's Storm. This man has been fighting a losing battle for years! As vice president of the Savage Wolves, his loyalty to Porter and the club means everything to him. Unfortunately, so does Dixie. He's watched her from a distance, protected her, loved her quietly, and convinced himself that staying away is the honorable choice. But when he realizes Dixie might actually leave, all those carefully constructed boundaries start falling apart. His protectiveness toward her is unmatched, and there is never a question that he would put himself between Dixie and danger without a second thought.
I especially loved the tension created by Porter's absolute rule that nobody dates his daughters. Storm isn't simply risking an uncomfortable conversation with Dixie's father—he's potentially risking his position, his brotherhood, and the home he's found with the Savage Wolves. That makes every stolen moment between Storm and Dixie feel even more meaningful. They've wanted each other for so long, and when Storm finally starts realizing that losing Dixie would hurt far more than facing Porter, I was cheering him on.
The supporting characters made this story even better. Roxy, Oakley, Chopper, Jasper, Morris, and the rest of the Savage Wolves bring so much personality and found-family warmth to the book. The banter had me laughing, and Artie absolutely stole my heart. At eighty years old, he proves you definitely don't have to be young to cause trouble! I also loved getting those little glimpses of what's developing between Roxy and Chopper because now I desperately want their story.
Savage Love gives readers so much to enjoy—motorcycle club brotherhood, friends to lovers, forbidden romance, an age gap, grumpy/sunshine chemistry, forced proximity, suspense, found family, and one incredibly protective man who has fallen so hard there's no coming back. I also appreciated that this is a closed-door romance, making it a great choice for readers who love intense chemistry and romantic tension without explicit scenes.
Kristin MacQueen has created a fantastic beginning to the Savage Wolves series. Storm and Dixie's romance made me laugh, ache for them, and repeatedly want to yell, "Just choose each other already!" Their story is ultimately about deciding whether loyalty means following someone else's rules or having the courage to fight for the person who has always felt like home. After meeting this wonderfully chaotic MC family, I'm already ready to return for the next book!.

5 stars and infinity and beyond for this book! Holy heck what did Kristin MacQueen put in this book it had it’s all the tension, drama, suspense, over protective MMC for his lady. Storm found his home in the club he is vice president but the girl that’s always had his eye is the President daughter and Porter has rules no one dates his baby girls Period! You learn that when you’re earning your patch. He has watched her from afar for so long when will he break and when he does I was so pumped like finally you know she’s the woman for you dude!! Dixie she probably gets overlooked a lot due to her calm and quiet demeanor but don’t let that fool you some has to have a somewhat level head when your triplet sister Roxy and Oakley are bold and tell you what they think. However Dixie can do that too .. I love Dixie so much her personality I felt seen by her character. I love how she tease Storm of being old and this book is amazing!! I was wanting to laugh and cry the side characters add an amazing story to Storm and Dixie’s story and I can’t wait for Roxy & Chopper’s story you see bits of it play out in this book it makes you crave the second book so badly!!
Tropes Motorcycle Club Romance President’s Daughter FMC is part of a set of Triplets Touch and die vibes Fade to black romance Protective MMC Found Family Suspense
You can’t tell this is Kristin Macqueen first motorcycle romance she did a heck of a job with this book you can see how much she loves her character through out the book!
Until now, most MC romances I've come across feature rather toxic relationships where the MMC is a commitment-phobe player at best and a cheater at worst. So having read this book finally gave me such a welcome relief from that with its hero being such a one-woman alpha protector waving all the green flags. It's also the first book by Kristin MacQueen that I've picked up and I'm so pleased with that choice because now I have another author who I can turn to for MC romances that won't give me hell. Knowing that Savage Love is only the first book in what I hope will be a long series of interconnected standalones gives me a pleasant reassurance that more stories like this one are yet to come from Ms. MacQueen.
I'd enjoyed the writing in this book, and of course the romance between the MCs was just beautiful. I didn't even care that it was closed-door; the focus on the MCs' emotional connection was more than enough for me. It's a riveting combination of the age-gap, best-friend's daughter, friends-to-lovers, forbidden romance tropes. I was especially eager to discover how the couple was going to get their relationship out in the open without all hell breaking loose. When I got my answer, I was positively satisfied. So yeah, I enjoyed this book, and I look forward to more of the series!
I'm a grateful recipient of a free review copy of this book. This review is being offered voluntarily.
I've read a few MC romances, but every time I read one I end up liking them more and more! And this one was another confirmation of that. I love morally gray men with hearts of gold, the kind that are fierce and savage when needed, but also loyal and caring. Kristin made sure to deliver all of that. We have a unique group of men who have done bad things, but mostly in the name of good, and who are basically teddy bears underneath it all. I loved it. I also loved the sisters and how their bond really shows. It's clear that the stories will revolve around these girls.
In this one, we have Dixie, the sweet and innocent sister. She’s the chef and cook for the MC. She’s kind and a rule follower. She has been in love with Storm (the club VP) for as long as she can remember, and even though she knows it’s platonic, she can’t help but pine for him a little. Storm is a strong and sometimes scary man who is also a perfect gentleman, loyal, kind, and someone who would do anything for the woman he loves, even stay away from her to protect her and respect her father. When Dixie has had enough and starts thinking about leaving, Storm gets a reality check and finally starts acting on his feelings. And Dixie is all in. We see them give in to their feelings and accept their inevitable love.
I loved the story and the characters, and I really want to read Roxy and Oakley’s stories next.
Twenty-two year old triplets Dixie, Oakley, and Roxy Reeves all work in businesses associated with their father Porter’s motorcycle club Savage Wolves, which means they are strictly off limits to any member. But they DO need looking after, so Porter assigns Storm, vice president of the club, to Dixie, who is chef of the club; Chopper, one of his trusted members, to Roxy, who runs Savage Saloon; and two of prospective members to Oakley who works at Savage Repairs. What he doesn’t know is that one or more of the protectors have feelings for his daughters.
But danger rears its ugly head when the Reaper Club comes calling with malicious intent. No spoiler alert, but suffice to say that the old saying “Love reigns supreme.” plays an important role in this story, cementing the truth that family comes in many shapes and sizes, but the foundations are love and respect. Kudos to Kristin MacQueen for a fresh approach to MC romance! I love the strong female characters and the larger than life club members who also have soft spots that most rarely see. Savage Love is an original, exciting unputdownable look into a genre new to me, and I look forward to the next installment of the series
I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.
I am a sucker for an MC romance and this book did not disappoint. Especially one with an age gap and an “untouchable” FMC. Everything about this book was well done. It grabbed my attention from the first page and kept it until the very end. I really appreciated the slower burn to this relationship than is typical of an MC romance. It made it more believable and made it feel more real. There’s so much tension to the story, and it’s handled very well. The chemistry between Dixie and Storm was insane. I could feel it coming off the page. The connections built in this story, between the MCs and with all the characters, were deep and meaningful. It’s a chosen family connection that’s built on trust and loyalty. And the way the author handles this makes the reader feel like they are a part of this family too. I was highly invested in the characters and in the outcome of their struggles, romantically and otherwise. I truly appreciated that this story wasn’t based on a red flag filled toxic environment. Storm is all about his woman and only his woman. But he doesn’t dominate her in a way that feels controlling. He’s protective but she’s still her own person. And the ending was *chef’s kiss* I cannot wait for the next book in the series now.
Savage Love is the first in Savage Wolves series and this gives us Storm, VP of the Savage Wolves MC club, has loved Dixie since she was a teenager, but she is one of triplets who are the daughters of Porter, the President of Savage Wolves. He has always made it clear that his daughters are off limits to the members of the MC club. Dixie is sick of being stuck in the kitchen cooking the same simple boring foods every day, he studies and qualifications are going to waste. Dixie is incredibly attracted to Storm but she knows he will always put the club first and knows her father would kill him if he touched his daughter. Dixie has threatened to leave to find a place where she can cook her style of food. Storm goes to her father to tell him that Dixie is ready to run, Storm tells him that he has an idea that will keep her at the club. This is a quick read with beautifully written characters, a good insight into the Savage Wolves and amusing interactions between other MC members and Dixie’s sisters. The developing relationship of Storm and Dixie has been slow but once they move past the fear of Porter finding out, is sweet and a just a little spicy. I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book via BookFunnel and I am writing this review voluntarily
Storm Jeffery is the VP of the Savage Wolves MC. But is first duty is to protect Dixie Reeves. Shes 22 years old, studied in a cooking school, and triplet to her sisters Roxy and Oakley. But they are the president daughter. They are off limits. It’s the law. But when Dixie wants to get out of the life to get her own restaurant, Storm can’t let that happen. Even with 14 years difference, he love her all her life. Will he broke the rule or does he love the club more?
You will all asking why I chose a MC close door romance. I asked myself the same question. And after reading the story of Storm and Dixie, I came to the conclusion that Kristin MacQueen chose wisely. Because when a very good love story is written , you don’t need the extra scenes. I was blown away by her characters building, her story telling. The second characters are funny, and help the story to move forward. I read many age gaps and forbidden love tropes but this one is one of the best I have read. It’s beautiful, and at the same time its heartbreaking but at the end love wins ❤️ I can’t wait to read the next book with Roxy’s story. If you ever read a close door story, this is the one you should read. 5⭐️
I love motorcycle club romance and this is a new-to-me author. I think this is their first MC Romance novel and I think they did a great job capturing the found family theme. The heroine, Dixie, is one of triplets who are club princesses (and you know that the club princess trope is one of my favorites). The triplets have distinct personalities and I liked how they interacted with each other and with the club members. Storm, the hero, is a tough bad boy. People are frightened of him. Dixie, however, has been in love with him for years. Storm is gentle and sweet to her. This is a clean romance- they kiss a lot and his shirt comes off, but Storm is determined that anything further will not happen until she is wearing his property patch and they are married. Normally I’m not a fan of closed door or clean romance (give me my smutt, by golly!) but this really works for the characters and is in keeping with their relationship. Heat- clean, closed door. Bechdel test- passed Safety? Y Triggers- violence, arson, boring food choices Tropes- friends to lovers, age gap, club princess, teddy bear to me, forbidden love, a kiss is just a kiss, and: Why, MC! Yay!.

This was another great read! This is a closed door, fun, MC romance. There's some banter and drama that make it different than other MC romances I've read. Dixie is a triplet of a MC president, so her life outside the club is minimal. All the triplets work for the club or one of their businesses. Dixie is a cook but is stuck cooking the same few meals for the club. She hates what she cooks, that she has no freedom, and that she can't be with the only man she's ever loved. Dixie decides she's going to leave and follow her dreams. Storm is the VP of the MC, he's about 10 years older than her, and he's in charge of keeping her safe. They have only had eyes for each other and can't admit it without serious consequences from her dad. All she wants is someone to put her first, Storm does that without even realizing it by making her dreams come true, just to keep her close. They finally admit their feelings to each other and start sneaking around, but how long can they keep it that way? Will they get their happy ending with approval or will it come crashing down around them?
Great first book in the series! Connecting with the main characters was super easy, both of them pining for each other for years. Both Storm and Dixie faced strong opposition to them acting on their feelings--her being the daughter of the club president; he as the VP of the club and loyal to Dixie's father. She was feminine and sweet but not in a damsel in distress way, courtesy of her father raising her in that environment. Storm was masculine and strong, a necessity for his role in the club, but was soft when he was with Dixie. As far as any sex, it is a closed door romance. But for me, it was just enough and still was able to bring heat and intimacy. The physical aspect was still there without relying on spicy descriptions. A bit of danger, some real-life characters outside the club, a little forecasting of future couples--I thought it was perfect. Looking forward to more in the series!
Overall, it's a good story with amusing interactions and deep feelings. It has interesting personalities and a lovable main romantic couple. Club business is mostly behind the scenes, which I don't mind, but some things add a dangerous edge to the club. I was intrigued: will the heroine have everything her heart desires despite seemingly impossible circumstances? Sometimes it's good that there's someone watching over for safety, for various reasons. It's nice to have insight into other sisters' lives and some possibilities. I would prefer the heroine to be spared a dreadful experience. I just wish she wouldn't go toward danger. Such a shame, so much trouble for the short-lived need of a shortcut between two loving hearts. The willingness to be close while hiding to do something like that is exciting, a bit too much, and funny, silly.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received this as part of an ARC , here is my positive review. The story is about triplets Dixie, Rosie and Oakley. they are the daughters of a MC President. I'd you have ever read an MC story then you know being a kid of the prez you are watched all the time, especially if you are a girl. Dixie is head over heels in love with storm who is the clubs VP. he is 14 years older and she knows there is no way they could ever be together. storm as mentioned is the VP he is head over heels for Dixie but he too knows the Prez would kill him of he dried something with his daughter the girls are off limits, this is a contemporary romance age gap over protective story.
I think there were some area that could of been developed better, for examples the club itself or Dixie and why she is the way she is. I think little areas were pushed rheough while others were developed more. over all I loved the story would love to learn more about the other characters and what happens to Storm and Dixie
This was my first book by Kristin, and I loved it. I can’t wait to read more. She also included a playlist to go with the book, which is one of my absolute favorite things when an author does that!!
I felt like Kristin did an incredible job capturing the push and pull between Storm and Dixie. Even though it’s a forbidden, closed-door romance, you can really feel the relationship and intimacy growing. Storm cares for Dixie in a burn-the-world-down-and-ask-questions-later kind of way. He loved her so fiercely, and she wanted to take care of him just as much.
I also loved how the story portrayed the President of the Savage Wolves—Dixie’s dad—in such an interesting way: a killer who loves his daughters fiercely. We’re introduced to the triplets, and it definitely sets things up for Roxy’s story!!
I absolutely love MC books, and since this was my first time reading this author, I wasn’t sure what to expect – but this story completely blew me away! You can’t help but fall in love with Storm and Dixie. Dixie, one of the triplets and the daughter of the MC president, is full of sass, and I adored her character. She’s determined to find more for herself beyond working for the club, all while grappling with her feelings for her dad’s VP. Storm, on the other hand, has been in love with Dixie for years but knows he shouldn’t act on it. He’s a natural protector with a soft heart, and I loved seeing the dynamic between them. Their journey to fight for their happily ever after was so captivating. I’m now completely hooked on this club and can’t wait for the next book!
This book is a sweet, closed door, MC romance. That is a combination of words that I never thought I would type, but Kristin made it work. While I didn’t remember that it was closed door before I started reading, once I realized and recalibrated my brain to not be looking for the scenes, I really enjoyed the book. The story is so sweet and I absolutely love the premise of two who are not allowed to be together because of MC rules. The yearning that you feel from both of them is heartbreaking. I would definitely recommend this book, especially for those who are looking for no spice, but a bit of burning.
Between the pages, you will find: MC Romance Slow Burn Forbidden Love Age Gap No Third Act Break-up
This novel is a gritty, slow‑burn MC romance that delivers forbidden love, loyalty, and just the right amount of softness. Set in a dangerous, rule‑bound motorcycle club, the story follows Dixie—an MC princess raised to be untouchable—and Storm, the club’s disciplined, older VP who knows he shouldn’t want her. Their chemistry simmers from the start, fueled by age‑gap tension, proximity, and Storm’s protective alpha energy.
Some plot parts feel predictable and the length leaves certain characters and club politics underdeveloped. A deeper look at Dixie’s independence would have added more dimension.
Still, this is a fast, emotional, trope‑heavy ride that hits exactly what MC‑romance fans come for: passion, danger, loyalty, and a couple worth rooting for.
““You’re so much sweeter than you let people see. They all think you’re this hard jerk, but you’re not. You’re a big teddy bear.” “Only with you, Little Fox,” I growl as I tug her back into my arms.”
I loved: 🏍️ Strong family bonds, the whole motorcycle club is a big family 🏍️ Amazing amount of years of yearning and love - they’re perfect for each other. 🏍️ Fluently written story - I binged it within one day. 🏍️ I loved the banter.
That wasn’t mine: 🏍️ I expected a little more resistance from the father towards the relationship.
Take Away: Highly recommend this cute story within the motorcycle club universe - I enjoyed it very much and am intrigued to read the other books within this universe.
Great start to this series. Porter is the president of the Savage Wolves MC Club. And his triplet daughters are off limits to any of the club members. However, Vice President Storm has always looked out for all three girls and in particular Dixie. She has always had a crush on Storm and now that she is all grown up she knows Storm will never pursue a relationship with her and go against her dad. So she decided to leave. Both her father and Storm are determined to do what they can to stop her. Storm finds a way to give Dixie what she has worked for and in the process their chemistry ignites. Porter's reaction to that surprises both of them.
A wonderful beginning for this MC series featuring triplets whose father is the President of the MC. These sisters are fierce in their own way but are off limits to any of the MC members. Problem with that is they are always followed and protected by them so they can't seem to date outside the MC either. Book 1 centers on Dixie, a culinary chef, relegated to cooking mundane meals for the members with dreams of going out on her own. And Storm who loves her, but as VP knows that she is off limits. There is funny banter, smoldering looks, action, and secret meetings which will keep you turning the page.
Savage Love is book one of the Savage Wolves Series.
Storm and Dixie are both interested in each other but hide their feelings as they feel they can never be together due to Dixie's father. Events lead them to spending more time together and finally feelings come into the light. Storm was a bit of a softy for Dixie and we could see how protective he was about her. When things become dangerous for Dixie, he stands in as her protector and does everything he can to ensure her safety. I loved his determination and strength. This was a great MC romance.
As a new trope for Kristin MacQueen, she does a fabulous job with Dixie and Storm's story, and pulling us into life in a different way of approaching a Motor Cycle Club romance.
I enjoyed this story, and love the relationship between the sisters, and the way their Dad (the MC Club President) truly cares about his daughters. There were a number of fun scenes, and I loved how Dixie got to make her dreams, as well as the dreams of a stranger, come true.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked the connection between these two, felt for them and was willing them to fight for each other, to face her father and any trouble that was on the way together. I liked meeting everyone, seeing the different relationships and the splashes of humour and craziness. I enjoyed seeing them understand their feelings and life needs better, supporting one another, getting the support they deserved and seeing them in love. I am looking forward to reading the next in this series now.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed this book, it was an mc romance with some light drama and some good characters. We meet the triplets daughters of the prez, although this really focuses on one of the three, Dixie and the VP. They have wanted each other for as long as they can remember, but of course the triplets are off limits. So there is definitely some good angst there. There is some drama with a rival club and just a good story about a woman trying to find her place. I cant wait to read the next one!
I received an ARC of this book from the author. I enjoyed it! I don’t normally read MC romance books, but wanted to support the author. It was good. I really liked the romance, and liked all the characters. I also liked how clean this book is. It’s closed-door, which I really appreciated, because I don’t like spicy books anymore. Kristin is a great writer, and I will definitely read her other books in the future.
For a first attempt at a MC romance, McQueen hit it out of the park! It reads well, has warm romance with hints of spice. The skunk scene had me laughing out loud! I can not wait to read Roxy and Choppers story next and I'm looking forward to book three, which I assume will be Oakley's story. I do wish there was a little hint about who her leading man might be though. Maybe we will get that in book two.
