I choose this for my first zhichu novel but the plot and the 2d side characters were kinda boring and because of the tl it's a little hard to enjoy the story but I'll probably go back to finish this at some point

this was such a beautifully written story. I loved it so much! from the plot to the romance everything was perfect. I cried MANY times while reading. I took my time reading because I just didn’t want Fu Rangyi and Zhu Zhixi’s story to end. this might be my new favorite danmei and even bl of all time ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡

English Title: How Long Can Your Snowman Live?
The reason this is such a good series is due to Zhu Zhixi and Fu Rangyi’s abundance of healthy communication. Even though their beginning is slightly rocky, they always express their intentions and never leave the other in the dark (except a couple times— and with the best of intentions). The looming tragedy of Zhu Zhixi’s death countdown keeps the plot interesting enough to keep going, and the couple moments as the main characters progress from a fake marriage of convenience to a real romance with trust and support adds the sweetness necessary to not be completely devastating.
“No, that wasn’t enough. He even wanted to be a failing in Fu Rangyi’s meritocratic life, a drop of coffee on his pristine white coat, a misplaced image in his thesis, an uncorrectable modeling error, a shard of porcelain he personally unearthed but could never be restored into any ancient artifact. He wanted to be an existence that would make Fu Rangyi frown slightly when he thought of him, an unforgettable presence.” -Zhu Zhixi’s inner monologue

there's always something about fake marriage tropes and axb pairing that just hits different! at first I thought it's gonna be a cliche story about a beta who would manifest as an omega after being tgt with an alpha but boy was I wrong. it's heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, both emotions caused by the romantic aspect and the supernatural aspect of the story.
definitely one of a kind! you're getting a 4.5 stars from me

Muchas veces sipnosis locas esconden verdaderas joyitas, pero también cuchillos afilados.
Está novela es un verdadero manjar si lo que te gusta es el casamiento por conveniencia que se vuelve verdadero amor después. Ver a Zhu Zhixi y Fu Rangyi enamorarse es la cosa más dulce que puedes llegar a leer en tu vida.
Entre tanto, voy a ser sincera al decir que encontré la construcción de la trama un tanto débil si comparadas a otras obras de la autora. La primicia, aunque muy original, al final de cuentas fue un tanto débil; además, que al agregar los tantos otros problemas que surgieron, realmente no sentí el impacto emocional que la trama pedía.
Esta novela se salva mucho porque la química entre la pareja principal es una locura. Zhu Zhixi y Fu Rangyi transbordan amor, devoción y cuidado el uno por el otro que sales amando la novela sí o sí. Zhichu sabe muy bien escribir romance y la construcción de una relación.
Algo que me molestó repetitivamente fue comentarios bastante inconvenientes sobre relaciones Alfa-Omega. Aunque entiendo que es un modo de reafirmar el amor de el alfa por el beta al decir que no lo eligió por sus feromonas, sí me cansa el discurso de que las relaciones Alfa-Omega no son realmente sinceras. Soy la primera en aplaudir novelas con trama Alfa-Beta, pero creo que puedes escribir muy bien sin tirarle piedras a los otros.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I first started reading due to my disappointing last read with 'A Letter from Keanu Reeves/Reply to Keats'. I saw that the ratings and reviews were pretty good and the summary was alright, and whelp, they are right.
I love the dynamics on this couple where the Zhu Zhixi (shou) is bright little sunshine that intrudes and shines that life of Fu Rangyi (gong). I was surprised at Zhu Zhixi's personality actually because he seems to be stronger (mentally and physiologically) than FRY. Their personalities and characters clashes so badly in their relationship at first but then one day, things change and it pivoted into one of most sweetest and toe-curling relationship that you'll read in a danmei.
I also love that the spicy scenes stays SPICY and DETAILED because you don't always get this in danmei reads. Lastly, I gotta admit that I've always love 'arranged marriage' themes because you almost can never go wrong with this theme unless the author is just a bad writer.
Highly recommend for everyone to read!

¿Lloró? Sí, Sí lloré. No suele pasarme seguido en los libros, pero llegué a entusiasmarme.
Inició con pocas expectativas y resultó ser una lectura bastante entretenida y divertida salvo por algunos detalles con los que choqué un tanto.
Calificación: 3.75
Creo que el estilo suelto y libre de las novelas ligeras danmei es tremendamente fácil de leer. Aún si me tomó 12 días leerlo, jajaja. Hubo tramos en que fue adictivo y no lo soltaba.
Pero tiene algunas cosas que fueron perdiendo sentido para mí en la historia. Aún así lo disfruté mucho y me divertí viendo a ese par enamorarse, aceptarlo y luego pelear por lo que sentían.
