This was an easy book to read but hard to put down until finished. The characters were developed carefully & I'm looking forward to getting to know them better in sequels. The plot had many twists & turns so the reader is kept off guard. There was at least one plot twist that I thought was unnecessary to the story (stigmata) however. I got the message about that character without the sensational embellishment.
