Evil creatures prey in the night. Not all of them are monsters, but they all deserve to die.
Kasha never wished this life for herself, but since being awoken as a vampire, she’s taken it upon herself to cleanse the Islands of Esmor, hunting criminals who evade justice.
She’s chosen to walk this path alone, moving from place to place, and never being caught. Until, she finds herself entwined with her colleague Miles, a detective for the Salera police department.
Will he be her undoing?

A.M. Nelson is a self-certified book worm with book dragon tendencies. She lives in Melbourne, Australia with husband, three kids, and her array of pets.
When she’s not writing, A.M. Nelson can be found adding books to her never ending TBR, on the sideline of kid sports, or giving in to her unparalleled obsession with coconut and chocolate.
In her books you're guaranteed to find heartbreak, laughter, and happily ever after.
I love a good fem rage/revenge book, add in Vampires and it’s a yes! I was lucky enough to read an ARC copy of Eternal Rage when I heard some tropes and the blurb I knew I would enjoy it. Tropes like - [ ] Vampire Vigilante - [ ] Urban Paranormal - [ ] Vengeance and Justice - [ ] Hidden identity - [ ] Morally Grey After Kasha was murdered a Vampire gave her a second chance at life, now she hunting down the scum of Esmor who avoided jail time or deserves it. All going well until Miles comes into her life to complicate her justice and her heart. It’s giving fated mates with their connection and I love it.
If you like dark urban fantasy and vampires you’re going to enjoy this one.
This vampire romance really surprised me in a good way. Kasha, the female protagonist, is self-aware, emotionally clear, and empowered in a way that felt grounded rather than forced. I loved the relationship that developed between her and Miles; his tenderness and quiet presence worked well, but I would’ve liked a little more insight into his emotional world. His scenes about his ex were funny and textured, and I found myself drawn to him as a character.
The pacing felt smooth, and the alternating POVs worked, though Miles’ chapters could go deeper. Continuity was strong, even with time jumps between Kasha’s past and present. There were a few typos, but nothing disruptive, t’s an ARC, after all.
What stood out most, though, were the deeper themes: this story doesn’t shy away from confronting issues like coercion, the fallout of false accusations, and how trauma impacts trust. It doesn’t feel preachy, just intentional. There’s a particularly striking moment where Kasha calls out a woman for weaponising false claims, and it’s handled with nuance and weight.
This one’s for readers who want emotional depth with their supernatural romance, not monster-romp, but rich, reflective storytelling. Fans of vampire romance with a strong female lead and real emotional stakes will find something to love here. I’m definitely looking forward to Book 2.
Eternal Revenge is a dark paranormal romance, but honestly the real driving force of this book is revenge. The story centres on Kasha, and from the start it’s clear her entire existence is fuelled by betrayal, loss, and a very strong desire to make certain people suffer. This isn't a “heal and move on” kind of book, its more like a burn it all down situation.
What I really liked is that the book doesn’t try to soften Kasha’s need for vengeance or make it feel noble. Her choices are messy, emotional, and sometimes questionable, but they make sense for someone who’s been carrying this much anger for so long. The revenge plot is layered too, it’s not just about one wrong, it’s about years of manipulation, secrets, and power being uncovered.
Miles sits right in the middle of all this, which makes everything more complicated. Their shared past and unresolved history constantly clash with Kasha’s need for revenge, and you’re left wondering whether revenge will actually give her closure — or just cost her everything. Meanwhile, characters like Veronica and Silas add even more tension as loyalties shift and the truth starts coming out.
The paranormal and immortality aspects raise the stakes in a big way, because revenge isn’t temporary here — the consequences are long-lasting. Overall, the book is dark, dramatic, and unapologetically driven by vengeance, and by the end it feels very clear that this is only the beginning of a much bigger reckoning.
I was privileged enough to get the read Eternal Revenge before its release date. A.M. Nelson does an amazing job capturing her audience attention and holding it all through out the book. I was glued to the pages and didn’t want to put it down. Be prepared for a cliff hanger.
The romance and connection between FMC and MMC gave me fated mate vibes and had me kicking my feet and giggling. There was just enough spice not too much and not too little which I felt was the perfect balance. The whole story is gripping and can be a bit of an emotional roller coaster but the one you want to jump onto and do over and over again. I loved the character development both individually and together for the main characters. Eternal Revenge is definitely a top 3 for books I’ve read this year. If you like reading about a strong female character that is a total badass but also has a soft side she would never admit to this is the book for you.
Favourite Quotes: 🌟 “Something like that. Now stay” 🌟 It’s as easy as fishing with dynamite 🌟 “Served by a beautiful woman? You could bring me shit on toast and I’d still be grateful you cooked for me” 😂
Firstly thank you to A.M.Nelson for this amazing opportunity to arc read Eternal Revenge. the first book in the Black Rose Series. Every book I have read from this author has been absolutely amazing.
This book was so good that I need book two to find out how this will end. I absolutely loved Kasha and Miles story so far. Kasha is such a badass in this book with ridding the scum from the island. This book had me hooked and now I will have to wait patiently for the next book. I need to know what will happen between Kasha and Miles and if they will get their happily ever after with how book one ended.
Kasha never saw herself or life being a vampire. She has taken revenge on criminals that have evaded justice. She rids the bad people from the island. She has chosen to walk this path alone until she meets a detective named Miles. Will Miles be her undoing?.
A.M.Nelson you have done such an amazing job with this book that you literally have me going wtf lol. That ending is pure torture and the wait to find out is going to drive me insane. Please tell me book two will be out in 2026 as I truly can't wait to read it.

OML! This blew me away, I was hooked from the very first chapter. I will note immediately to check your triggers as it’s very dark and your mental health matters. Our FMC Kasha had something absolutely brutal done to her and she gets turned into a vampire….then she takes vengeance on those who have done wrong to others, absolute Baddass.
While working as an analyst within the police department she is chosen as part of a team to investigate…her murder, only tricky part is she’s falling for a guy. This gives me major The Mindfuck Series with vampires. Forewarning the cliffhanger will have you begging for book two 🤭.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, being on the edge of my seat, the duel POV and I was giggling at so many points too. Definitely recommend ❤️
Kasha is the kind of badass vampire I live for—lethal, sharp-edged, and powerful, yet hiding a soft heart she’d probably never admit to. She gave me strong Rosalie-from-Twilight vibes… but darker, better, and with way more bite.
And then there’s Miles—absolute love-sick golden retriever energy in the best way. Loyal, earnest, and completely gone for Kasha, his devotion balances her darkness perfectly.
The romance? Oh, it reeks of fated mates in that inevitable way that keeps you glued to the pages. The character arcs for both Kasha and Miles were so well done—watching them grow individually and together made the story even more satisfying.
This book had action, emotion, and a romance that sunk its teeth into me and refused to let go. I’m already counting down until the second book because I need more of this world, these characters, and this love story. 🖤🩸

About the book- no spoilers
Kasha is a vampire, she didnt choose this lifestyle but she has made it her life's work to rid the world of people slipping through the laws cracks. A vampire still needs to eat right?
She meets a human detective who thinks murder is black and white. Will she get caught? Will she change his mind ? Maybe over dinner and chocolate mousse 😉 Only time will tell.
Fav quote “Served by a beautiful woman? You could bring me shit on toast and I’d still be grateful you cooked for me.” - had me laughing hard 🤣
For the authors first time writing dark romance she definitely nailed it!!! I was fortunate enough to be given this as an ARC for my honest opinion.
Kasha is a woman in a mission to rid the world of evil men who hurt the most vulnerable. This was spurned on by her own history with two men over 100 years ago. Yes 100 years. You see on the fateful night she was attacked with her daughter she was found near death and a lady saved her. By turning her into a vampire.
Now for the past 100 years she has been on a mission and thanks to her job as a data analyst with the police she has lots of resources to help her act out her revenge. She has also been tasked to the task force to hunt this killer so she has all the advantages.
Unfortunately she is falling for Miles, a cop also in the task force. Miles knows nothing about her 2 secrets and everyday their growing attraction threatens to hurt her cause.
Will her secrets be revealed? Will the police find out the person they’re hunting is one of their own? Does she have to make a choice….revenge or love??
If you love feminine rage/justified revenge this book is for you. It was so well written and you felt everything that these men felt as they died. Kasha is a character you’ll love as she helps the vulnerable.
If you’re a fan of vampires, urban fantasy, feminine rage and revenge then you’ll enjoy Book 1 in this series.
Being on book 2

** took longer then should have cause darn adult life! **
Yet another amazingly written book by A.M Nelson!!
Eternal revenge has it all! Fem rage? ✅ Vampire vigilante? ✅ Morally grey characters? ✅ Hidden identity? ✅ Urban fantasy? ✅ Vengeance & Justice? ✅
Eternal Revenge follows Kasha, who’s been given a second chance at a new life after being murdered. We follow Kasha on her hunt for Vengeance & Justice, and while all is going to plan we meet Miles. With his love sick golden retriever vibes, he is a perfect balance to Kasha and her bad ass b*tch vibes!
Cannot wait to see where this series goes in the future!
Vampire wets the mind fuck series. The FMC is the victim of a horrific crime And loses everything including her humanity. She wakes ama vampire and lives her life getting vengeance for those wronged by the justice system. She works at the local station wkeee she gets all her victims from. It’s lap where he meets the MMC and complications arise from their budding relationship. The ending was bound to happen and it’s a cliffy of course so we have to wait for what happens Next and if either will survive the encounter. I can’t wait to see the direction the author takes this. It’s a great size gets straight into the action and has the best sized chapters.
This was my first read by this author and I really enjoyed this book! I was pulled in from the first chapter which immediately contained action! The story flowed well and kept me engaged with short chapters and near constant action/spice/revenge vampire killings…..the book touched it all! I would have liked more background into the islands and the history of why the society was the way it was. Can’t wait for the next in the series and to see where these characters go!
This is first book I’ve read by this author. There could be more background about the islands and her prior life. It was still a good book vampires and romance how could you go wrong? The cliffhanger honestly is what made me knock it down a star, I get it says book 1 but when I say killer cliffhanger I mean killer cliffhanger! So forewarning if you don’t like cliffhanger that leave you going whhhhhhaaaaattttt you might want to wait for the next book to be released before reading, lol.
This ARC review offers a dark, compelling take on vampirism, following a Vampire Kasha who seeks justice against men who prey on women and children after a traumatic event that leads to her being turned. The story balances horror with moral complexity, presenting a protagonist who is both monstrous and deeply human.
If you loved the Mind F Series, Vampire Diaries or Hunt Me Darling. This series is for you.
Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice 🌶️🌶️

I NEED more about Kasha and Miles!!! What a badass vampire Kasha is! If I was a vampire I would want to be more like her! If you want to read a book that has romance, action and a badass vampire that goes after vile people and rids the earth of them you need to read this book!
The budding romance between Miles and Kasha is a nice addition to the story!
I couldn’t put this book down!!! I absolutely loved it. If you are looking for an FMC who is cleaning up the streets while serving some much needed revenge on criminals that hurt woman and children then look no further! Trigger warning- chapter one will hit you so please read the trigger warnings. Highly recommend
A vampire who is doing the world a favor by feeding on and providing justice to those that do wrong and find ways to get away with not fully being punished. This story will have you on the edge of your seat throughout the book. There were times I thought wow I didn't see that coming. I love the characters. The author's writing and story telling keeps you engaged and wanting more.
this had me hooked from the start the FMC gives me bad bitch energy and reminds me of Rosalie from twilight which i LOVED and the MMC was sooooo sweet. the only negative was i wish it was longer but how this ended I NEED THE SECOND BOOK LIKE NOW!!!
This is an urban, gothic, paranormal romance. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading. It is a short read and it met some of my expectations . I am excited for book 2. I was fortunate to get this as an advanced reader copy. This review is a voluntary review.
A fantastic tale of revenge. The protagonist, a female vampire working in the police force, helping to seek revenge/ justice on women and children that were hurt by men. She’s a badass, who mainly keeps to herself, until she meets a man, who may or may not steal her heart.

OMG welcome to the world of A.M. Nelson. This book had me hooked within the first few pages. From the very beginning, there was action, tragedy and heartbreak. A vampire vigilante and a cop who is trying to find the killer. What more could you ask for. Kasha is a feisty vampire trying to save the world. Miles is a cop who is trying to prove himself. This book has it all. It's suspenseful, it's dark, it's spicy and the cliffhanger will have you begging for more.
Vampire bringer of justice with a complicated relationship that has you gripped from the start. Bring on book 2 of the series. Remember to check your triggers.
