A photographer's obsession, his wife's temptation, and the dark-skinned stranger who brings both into perfect exposure!
Exposure is the newest Hotwife Tales novella from British erotica author Chris P. Rider - a sensual celebration of trust, voyeurism, and marital passion, set in the rain‑washed streets of Kentish Town, London.
Mark and Sophie Blake have always shared everything - dreams, love, and even their art. But when Mark turns his camera on his wife for a private photoshoot, something new stirs behind the lens. The way Sophie trembles under the lights ignites a dangerous curiosity neither can ignore.
Soon, the boundaries between art and desire blur completely. Mark suggests a new model for the Luke, a young, charismatic man whose presence awakens something deep inside Sophie. What begins as a black‑and‑white exploration of contrast and form becomes a vivid, raw journey of heat, trust, and surrender.
Through Mark’s viewfinder, Sophie discovers the thrill of being seen, touched, and worshipped in ways she never imagined. Mark watches, torn between jealousy and devotion, as his fantasy becomes reality and their relationship transforms through honesty and blazing passion.
Every shot pushes them further into realisation, acceptance, and an intoxicating world where love and lust coexist in perfect focus. But when the final shutter clicks, what remains is something neither predicted - a stronger marriage, a deeper connection, and a desire that refuses to fade.
Exposure is an example of good erotica. It's the story of a professional photographer (MMC), and his beautiful freelance designer wife (FMC). Besides his paid gig of doing photos of coffee mug merch for websites, he's also yearns to try his hand at erotic photography. After his wife fills in for his camera club's usual model wearing a skimpy French maid costume, the MMC decides that his wife is a natural model, and she could help him play out his fantasies.
Our hero is a pretty randy guy, who may, or may not have priapism. The wife has a very active libido, too. They mate like rabbits around their flat, but decide it's not enough. Hubby then hires a handsome, charming, well-endowed young Black man to pose with her for erotic photoshoots. Let's just say that things go quite well, satisfying all three of them. The wife also falls for a female client, and wants to explore her bisexuality urges with her. Towards the end of the book, the author tosses out another woman who wants in on the action, too.
There was little, to no angst, which is usually part of the standard formula for this type of book. The scenes were nicely detailed, maybe nudging a bit into kink, but not breaking the barrier into outright debauchery. But best of all, the whole group had a rollicking good time, resulting in a HEA.
This is my first experience with this author’s work, and it certainly won't be my last. The writing is well-crafted, with plenty of detailed scene-setting that effectively builds up to the action.
As a Londoner, I especially appreciated being able to closely associate the story with its setting, which made it feel more authentic.
This book will appeal to readers who enjoy themes of Hotwifing and wife-watching, particularly with an interracial aspect, along with a hint of cuckoldry.
I am definitely going to explore more of Chris P. Rider’s books.
