Poetic Devices: A Dark Ribbon Romance

Rate this book
Ribbons, Pancakes, and Sin that Tastes like Cursive.

Nikki Everleigh isn’t looking for love. She wants heat she can hold, pleasure she can control, and nights that feel like ink bleeding across her skin.

Then she meets Shade Anthony Cross, tattooed heir to Seattle’s underworld and the quiet storm everyone knows not to touch. He wraps ribbons around his hands before he fights and looks at Nikki like she’s the last quiet thing in a world made of noise.

Their chemistry hits fast and reckless, breathless and undeniable. Two word-drunk disasters colliding under streetlights, rewriting each other in sweat and sin. Scars unravel into ribbons. Pancakes turn into confessions. And love is the poetic device they never saw coming.

Poetic Devices is a dark, voicey, high-heat, word-drunk romance, with no safety rails, no apologies, and no pretending.

This book hits like a poem and slips through you like a ribbon in Seattle rain, unraveling softly until it snaps between your teeth.

Dang this book is not what I thought it would be! Don’t let the word poetry throw you off. If you want a romance that doesn’t ask permission, this one is it. It’s dark, lush, and written with the kind of voice that hooks into your ribs. Every chapter feels like a poem you’re not supposed to read out loud, and every line drips with that high-heat, no-brakes energy that leaves you a little breathless. If you’re chasing a romance that feels like a bruise and a confession at the same time, this is the one.

I honestly loved every part of it and I absolutely need a second one!!!! Sooner than later please!!! Also name a book that gives you a playlist to listen to while reading the book!?! Like I wish everyone did this, such an amazing touch and the playlist was perfectly curated! Snaps all around!
