This had the potential to be surprisingly good - we meet the main character who has a boyfriend/coworker- they work for an agency and are not supposed to date but they do - book opens up with a steamy sex scene - afterwards his boyfriend has to leave because he gets called for a mission - a while after that he is also called for a mission and he learns that he is leaving on the same mission his boyfriend went to - and that his boyfriend is missing. Whilst he is down in the lab trying to get important papers he getts attacked by a strange creature and basically raped- turns out the agency experimented on their agents - including him and turned them into monsters and the book ends with another creature attacking him and him seemingly dying... except probably not I guess- this wouldn't be half bad if there weren't a ton of grammatical errors though - it almost seems like the author doesn't even want to try despite having some pretty decent ideas I guess- though most of these are probably never proof read before they are published lol

Don't bother. This book is nothing more than a chapter; and the next book is the same. They're not just a cliffhangers, you're dropped off the top of Mt. Everest. The story probably has some potential, but the plot is a little far fetched and the writing is a little weak. Although the first two books (sorry, "chapters") were published a month apart, there hasn't been a follow-up to the second book in almost eleven months. Seems the author abandoned the story so don't waste your time starting something that will not get finished.
