Bloodline: A Multi-Plot End-times Science Fiction Novel
Some truths refuse to stay hidden.When Dr. Alan Carlyle rescues a leather satchel from glacial ice, he ignites a mystery that could rewrite human history. A university lab dates the leather to 2,400BC, but is unable to match its genome with any known species. The stitching contains polymer strands unknown to modern science. Other impossible relics begin to a laser pistol embedded in solid rock from the bottom of the Atlantic, and in the French Alps, an impossible cavern containing an enormous spacecraft and humanoid remains. Each artifact bears the same haunting symbol from the leather of the satchel; a link to a long-dead world that should never have existed.
While Alan gathers a team of scientists to interpret the data, he faces a private reckoning—a forgotten letter surfaces, revealing that his wife, and his best friend, have a shared past about which he never knew.
This betrayal fractures his faith in humanity and taints his worldview. He dives deeper into himself as he struggles with existential challenges, both personal and professional, while still shouldering the implications of a civilization lost to history.
When the language of the satchel is finally decoded, it reveals not just baffling science, but possibly a prophecy, and serves as a warning of what humanity could again become.

A very Dan Brown coded book. Enjoyed it for the most part but the constant jumping of POVs was sometimes jarring. I also did feel like the religious zeal was maybe trying to convert the reader? I am looking forward to reading the second book!
