Another great addition to the Around the World in 80 Clues series that take you on a real roller coaster ride between Tokyo and Green Acres. Journalist, Mia Andrews, with her clue finding, smart dog, Toby is sent to cover the Olympic trials in Tokyo. But when of the promising Vaulters falls to his death, the Tokyo police called it an accident. But Mia knows it was no accident so she and Clue finding Toby investigates with the help of her incredibly tech savvy son, Eli and Kai, who's all about code from Green Acres and when the Grannies seem to have found something that may tie the crime in Tokyo to Green Acres. Poor Sheriff Caldwell has to deal with the hilarious Grannies while Mia and Toby try to find a murderer before anything else happens. How is the murder in Tokyo tied to Green Acres? What did the Grannies find? What did Toby discover? As Mia gets closer will she be able to find the murderer before he finds her? There are so many threads that need to be pulled and tied together that you just can't put this book down until the very end! I highly recommend not only this great addition to the series, but I also highly recommend the entire series. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Vaulted Secrets is an Excellent story about Mia Andrews a Journalist and her handsome, clever, sleuthing dog Toby who go to Tokyo for the Olympics. An accident happens at the Pole Vault Competition. Mia and Toby investigate with assistance from Green Acres her son Eli her Tech Expert and Kai who is Half Japanese and a Code Wizard and the Grannies. Some of the information that she finds is linked to Green Acres. There are many parts to this mystery. Sheriff Caldwell works with the Green Acres investigating team.
Superb story and series that I enjoyed reading and I highly recommend that you read.

Mia and Toby are in Tokyo for the vault contest that turns into something that isn't exact kosher. The are problems with the equipment and then she finds ties back to Green Acres. Kai and Eli are working the internet behind Mia's feed and they track the transfer of things to the vaults in their own home town. Interpol is involved and poor Chief Caldwell is dealing with The Grannies and the contraband and it's not easy. Good story and lots of twists and lots of good people.
I received an arc and this is my review.

Have a tissue handy on the day you read this contemporary industrial espionage tale involving young pole vaulters in Japan at the International Vault Finals, where Mia Andrews and Toby are on the case, assisted by Eli, Kai, and the Grannies back in Green Acres, California, which leaves an open question as to whether evidence must file taxes.

This was not an easy read but I did enjoy all the sections with the grannies who are always entertaining. People who are more interested in sports and/or technology (as the kids are using) will certainly enjoy the events. Solid writing with interesting characters.
