Two broken hearts. One raging blizzard. A Christmas that could change everything.Morgan Larsen wasn’t supposed to end up at Blake Callahan’s mountain cabin. She planned to hide out twenty miles away, licking her wounds after catching her husband and best friend on a viral kiss cam. But when a snowstorm strands her car, the only shelter she finds belongs to a brooding man who clearly wants her gone.
Blake Callahan has spent three years in isolation, fixing problems with his hands, not his words. The last thing he needs is a tearful stranger invading his solitude—especially right before Christmas. His repair his snowmobile and send her on her way. But when the storm worsens and a fallen tree wipes out the only bridge out, they’re trapped together with nowhere to run.
As the power fails and the snow piles high, Morgan glimpses the hurt behind Blake’s silence—and he begins to see that her tears hide more strength than he imagined. In a cabin cut off from the world, they’ll find the courage to heal…and maybe the love neither dared to hope for.

What a shame. This is probably a really good story, but sadly, the author chose to have it narrated by virtual voice. It’s completely wrong for the story and throws off the emotion, the character development, situation, the dialogue. I would gladly listen to this if it were narrated by real people, especially dual narrators. But as it is, it’s awful.
"Snowed In for Christmas" is a heartwarming Christmas romance. The story follows Morgan, who's catches her fiancé cheating on her with her best friend on a kiss cam at a hockey game 😱. Seeking escape, she books a cozy cottage in the mountains, but a snowstorm has her lost and stranded. When her car gets stuck, she's forced to trudge through the snow, following smoke signals to find help. That's where she meets Blake, a withdrawn and mysterious stranger who's about to become her unlikely savior and maybe... more❤️❤️
This was such a cute Christmas romance! I absolutely loved the novella - the tension and chemistry between Morgan and Blake was intense, and I was hooked from the very first page. I couldn't put it down as their connection grew amidst the snowy chaos. If you're a fan of swoony, cozy romances, you'll adore "Snowed In for Christmas"! 🌨️❄️🌨️❄️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a great book! This story really made me look at family relations with fresh eyes, and see that sometimes there is toxicity when you need support.
I am not going to give any more of the book than what is in the blurb, because I really think you need to pick this book. THe plot is fast paced, the story is laced with humor, pain, fears, secrets, and lots of insights and self growth. But the way the characters are written will have relating to them in a way or another, The heartbreak feels raw and human, the slow burn will melt you, and you will feel their emotions, their rawness, and you will want to hug them, to hold their hand., Just loved the book !.

There is something undeniably magical about a forced proximity trope set in the middle of a raging blizzard, and this book captures that cozy, high-stakes atmosphere perfectly. This was a super cute holiday read that managed to be both lighthearted and emotionally resonant. It wasn’t hard to find relatability in the themes of healing and starting over, even if you haven't been stranded in a snowstorm with a grumpy mountain man yourself. If you are looking for a winter escape that balances the "grumpy x sunshine" dynamic with genuine emotional growth, this is a wonderful pick for the season.

Well it was an interesting storyline, but for some reason the company it author made the choice to have it read by a virtual voice. Not a good choice. Inflection was off. Little to no emotion when needed. There was even a mistake. It was painful to get through it. I listen to a lot of books and sometimes it's the voice of the narrator that wins me over...not on this one.
A well-written romance full of emotions, hurt, sadness, laughter and love. The story is relatable and speaks straight to the heart. A wonderfully entertaining easy read and a well written book with interesting characters. A story that reminds us to take risks and follow our hearts.
Not only was the virtual voice awful, the story had to also be written by AI. One minute he was her finance, the next they were married 8 years, then back to finance, the husband. One second it’s the first night there in dudes cabin, the next it’s been 2 days.
3.5 Rounded down. I love a free audiobook, but this was a computer generated voice and it got really weird sometimes. It was a perfectly cute fast Christmas read. I love a forced proximity trope.
