Georgia Left has gone most of her life masquerading as a self-proclaimed hyper-independent, introverted, hopeless wanderer type. So when Felix Aruso, lead singer of Inner Vice, seems hell bent on amending some of those proclamations, she’s reluctant and stubborn.
Yet, Felix’s unyielding pining spirit after sharing a kiss and night of story swapping, slowly but surely allows her mask to fall and let the light in.
Will Georgia let Felix infiltrate her seemingly perfectly aloof nomadic lifestyle, or will the demands of his jet setting dissolve any newly developing feelings between them?
I loved so many things about this book! The beginning was so great I loved the meet cute! Also the MMC is such a cinnamon roll and I am sooooo here for it!!! I need a man that’s so in touch with his emotions like the MMC! I also related with the FMC on a lot of her trauma responses and mental health issues she talked about, which also side note I thought the little therapist sessions were definitely validating which I love. And lastly found family was a big thing and I love that! Make sure to check the TWs! Mental health matters! 🫶🏻
this book was such an emotional journey of two people who were meant to be together despite all the obstacles in their way. i absolutely binged this book, it was so hard to put down. i love both georgia and felix so much. first i just want to say i haven’t read many books with the rockstar trope and honestly ive been missing out because i really enjoyed this one!
i really loved felix, his character was so sweet and caring even though he was a rockstar. it was so endearing how he only has eyes for georgia and just wanted to spend time with her. it warmed me heart how he would make time to see her as much as he could with his insanely busy schedule.
i also liked Georgia and related to her in the sense that she was afraid to get to close and let people in. i just wanted to go through my screen and give her a hug.
my favorite part of the book was definitely the letters. my heart broke a little bit everytime i got to see inside of felix’s head and how much inner turmoil he had going on. they were such a good edition to the story because then we got to see a little bit of what felix was feeling and doing.
i love both of them so much and im so happy they got their happy ending
I love rockstar romances especially interracial ones! Dear Georgia was a well thought out and written book! It had spice and steam, some laugh out loud moments and of course some angst. The chemistry between the main characters was hot and believable! I’d never read a book by this author before but I’m looking forward to reading more from her.
I received a free copy of this book via Evernight and am voluntarily leaving a review.
