Beg Me: A Dark Why-Choose Omegaverse

Rate this book
When my father sold me to the highest bidder, I never expected them to be my Scent Match.

They couldn’t have known—not with the illegal suppressants I was on—but one interaction was all it took for me to decide they could never find out.

To them, being an Omega was my only worth. They saw a spoiled, shallow girl with expensive taste, and they made up their minds.

The ruthless Alphas intended to use me, but secrets never stay buried for long. I’d find out what they wanted and use it to bargain for my freedom.

They may have bought me, but they’d never own me. And before I disappeared, I’d make sure they knew exactly who they’d tried to cage—and that some mistakes can’t be undone.

Even if they begged.

this book is mostly sex, which is not usually my favorite, but i can deal if it’s fun and hot and exciting. this book is not that. almost all the sex is perfunctory and boring. there’s no buildup or tension or interest. it’s just not sexy. not to mention that most of the sex also feels iffy on consent?? which i don’t have a problem with when it’s a part of the plot, but it doesn’t really feel like that either. it feels very strange because every time eva has sex, she’s not resisting or saying no, but most of the time it happens, she’s just hanging out in a room and someone comes in and has sex with her and then turns around and walks away??? there’s just no seduction on either part and it feels so bizarre.

i also just wanted this to be more of a romance. the idea behind these rejected scent match books is supposed to be that once they realize she’s their scent match, we get to watch them grow and learn and change and fall in love. and we just don’t really get that here. they change their behavior, sure, but there’s no romance. it doesn’t feel like we get to watch characters fall in love with each other. and i think part of that is that with bully romances, or romances where the fmc is wildly mistreated by her future partners, the eventual romance needs to be over-the-top adorable and romantic and sweet to make up for it. in this book, they just buy her gifts and then all of a sudden everyone is exchanging “i love you”s, and that’s just not the same.

there’s also no sense of intimacy or getting to know each other. the only moment that even tries to do that is the cliche “look we all have scars” moment, but there’s almost nothing else. by the end of the book i don’t feel like i actually know anything significant about who these characters actually are as people.

True groveling, but…

Some of the details left me uncomfortable. Spoilers ahead.

1) How could Eva accept living in a pack house when she knew for a fact that her Alphas had not only “entertained” lots of other females there, but other females had lived there making it their home? She was jealous of just other females touching them. Wouldn’t she want to eradicate any memories of other females? "Oh, let's cuddle on this couch where I saw you f!&*ing that beta woman." "Oh, let me spend time in this room where you f@&$ed so many other women their scents were indiscernable." "Oh, let's have dinner at this table where I had to watch another woman just waltz into your home like it's hers because she felt comfortable using your spare key." "Oh, let me go paint in my new art studio, you know, the room that used to belong to the omega you tried to leave me for and where you locked me in the closet after you bought me so that you could use me to get her back." This isn't Eva's home- it's Susanna's home. It's the home of their f*$@ room. It's the home where random women feel comfortable enough to walk in at any time of the day or night like they belong there.

2) Rafe and Cade both told her they loved her. Dorian didn’t. Sure, she can feel it through the bond, but he needs to acknowledge it verbally because that takes his love to a deeper level.

3) She never told them either. When the book ends, she’s still holding back from them. She still doesn’t completely trust them. Where's the future in a relationship in which she doesn't feel safe enough to trust them?

I was a bit confused on this one. I couldn’t understand why the mmc’s hated the fmc so deeply from the very beginning when they were the ones committing the crime of purchasing her.

There's no actual mm so let's get that out the way. Three alphas who end up with their scent match aka fated mate and don't even know it. The way they treat is as absolutely deplorable. She knows the truth because the supressent she takes only works one way. Essentially she has all the reactions but they just use that against her in a derogatory manner. She will make them grovel and beg. I'm here for it. When someone finally realizes who they are to them and realize oh shitake. I don't want to put any spoilers in here but let's just say this woman is a saint for what these men put her thru. Than when you find out why good heavens. I wasn't even sure if the guys in the beginning were the MMC's with how brutally they treated her. Hog tying someone and making them ride in a trunk just doesn't scream love to me. I mean unless you're into that. I don't kink shame... Allie gave us everything needed to make this a well balanced Omegaverse. The plot and the spice. Than there's the darkness because yes it is a DARK romance. There's simply no such thing as to dark in my opinion. Be forewarned ! Lastly I received this as an arc and under no obligation to leave this review !

a lot of noncon

It was really difficult to read. It wasn’t just about bbs but the amount of times FMC said no and the MMCs still crossed every boundary was very disturbing. Didn’t feel like romance at all.

I should’ve known this would be a tough read when I read “eggplant warming” in the kinks section. This isn’t tiktok, the author could’ve actually bothered to use the correct terminology.

Plot: 4/5 • Smut: 3/5 —————> Eva’s father sells her to the highest bidder. However, the pack she’s sold into has other plans for her. Because she’s on suppressants they don’t realize she’s their scent match, but she does.

They want to put her up for auction for her to serve her heat to a pack of Alphas. Her scent matches are looking for information on their Omega friend that got away. That’s the trade.

They treat her like trash, they lock her in the trunk. Yet all she wants is to please them. She’s attracted to their scent and in some ways them.

Eventually the suppressants wear off and they realize she is their scent match. They have a lot of groveling and making up to do, but she runs away. She’s not going to be second best to some girl they’re looking for. They’re on a mission to get their girl back.

There was a little too much back and forth for me at some points. Eva was very stubborn to the point where I was rolling my eyes a little. I understand her not wanting to be second best, but after a while she had to listen to them. Otherwise this was a fun omegaverse read. I liked it. And I liked that it was a standalone.

I had both objective and subjective issues with this one.

Objective: the content warnings are inaccurate. This book has strong dubcon with a dash of body betrayal. **That is not the same as CNC**

CNC is the intentional, pre-determined, negotiated play of stimulated non-consent (rape). It involves a safe word because it is a kink.

Alphas forcing themselves on an omega who does not consent is not CNC. Her body betraying her, and her ultimately enjoying the act, does not change that fact. They had not discussed it. There was no safe word. She was not an informed, consenting participant.

The content warnings page also listed cock warming, but that was missing from the story entirely.

Subjective: I struggled with the pacing, the abrupt about-face the MMCs made in going from hating her to wanting her, and how quickly she forgave them. It was like insta-love, but make it weird. The MMC’s arrest towards the end felt rushed and frankly unnecessary as it only served to get them out of the house to set up her father coming to take her. Roberto’s betrayal also felt unsupported, and the tidbit dropped about her mom dying in childbirth and that being why her father hated her felt out of place. The kidnapping plot point was resolved too soon, and overall the ending felt rushed.

Ok, first of all, don't read it if you don't like reading about bullying (they grovelled) mentions of past abuse and current parental abuse. I knew that going in so this book was definitely for me. The main character has a personality, it was not lost amongst the lust. There was a storyline, a good one at that, but some characters were introduced that were not entirely needed or if they were I did want a bit more depth. I give it three chilli peppers 🌶️🌶️🌶️, but I may be biased as I did just finish her Crimson Cove series 🥵.

You go girl!
God i wished i was there to strangle these bastards, but my girl Eva didn't disappoint. The regret they felt when they knew the truth, as if them not knowing justifies how they treated her! They were so rude and downright cruel, i wanted to know what made them this way, and then i felt sorry for them and wanted Eva to forgive them.

***

Kind of different from the typical omegaverse stories I've read before, but worth reading all the same. I loved how the h wasn't some weak omega, she knew her worth and what she deserves, and fought for it.

I really hate why choose books. I don’t know why I keep reading them. Nothing against this author. There were many aspects of this book I enjoyed. The writing and world building was solid. The characters were well-developed.
I just despise why choose storylines and it makes me sad that so many PNR, shifter, and omegaverse books have to feature this dynamic.

Eva is an omega with an abusive father. He sells her to the Ironwyld pack. To her horror, they’re her scent matched pack. Luckily, she's on suppressants, so Ironwyld doesn't realize she is their scent match. It’s lucky, in her opinion, because anyone associated with her father is just like him, a bad person. (Human trafficking is illegal so Ironwyld is committing a crime buying her.)

And in fact, they are bad. They treat her like a prisoner, keep her locked up, etc. She decides not to tell them about the scent match, because it will probably just make things worse for her.

Her father told them she was a spoiled brat. They also seem to have a bad opinion of “horny omegas” in general. Unfortunately, the scent match makes her horny all the time, so she seems to prove them right. There's BBS because of the scent match, but it doesn't affect her plan to leave them.

The Ironwyld Pack Alphas are:
Dorian, the hot nerd who negotiated with Eva’s father to purchase her,
Cade, the playboy asshole who really enjoys tormenting Eva, and
Rafael, silent, moody, doesn't talk much, but he's a kinky sex perve. Choking, knife play, all the freaky shit. It’s always the quiet ones.

We find out they need an invitation to an omega heat auction, so they plan to get an omega (Eva) and sell her heat. But it's not clear exactly why they need to go to the auction in the first place.

Eva realizes they need her cooperation for the auction, and this gives her leverage. She makes a deal with them that she'll cooperate and fuck whatever pack wins the auction, if they agree to let her go afterwards.

Then we find out their real motive. They had a chosen omega, Susana, who went missing. Recently, she sent them an email saying she misses them, but no other information. They managed to trace the IP address to an abandoned house owned by Elias' pack, the guy who hosts the auctions. So, Elias' pack is the only clue to Susana’s location.

Well, wanting to help Susana sounds nice. I guess they only think other omegas are horny brats, and not Susana, just everyone else?

And there's a Beta fuck buddy (Deborah) who hangs out in their house a lot, so that's weird. Since Eva is kept locked in a room alone, she only sees Deborah a couple of times. But it confirms to Eva that they have no decency.

The guys are showing some signs of being affected by the scent match, even though they can't smell her scent, and they don’t realize what they’re feeling.

The night of the auction arrives. Elias says something about their omega Susana, and that’s how Eva learns why they wanted to get into this event.

While she’s in the dressing room, she takes an overdose of suppressants, and it has a drugging effect on her. The auction is set up with the alphas behind tinted glass, and she can’t see them. She stumbles around, trying to put on “a show” for whoever’s behind the glass, but totally high. She stumbles, and her hair falls forward, revealing scars all over her back. Her alphas crash through the glass and tell Elias the auction’s off, and they take her home.

They start acting nice to her, and she doesn’t understand why. They tell her they don’t understand why either, but they want to keep her. (At least till Susana comes back). They won’t honor the agreement to just let her go since she cooperated.

So, Eva comes up with a revenge plan. If they spend their heat with her, they’ll never feel the same way about another omega, because of the scent match, even if they don’t understand why. Then she will find a way to leave, and they will be destroyed.

She takes the opportunity while they’re being friendly, to ask them if Susana is their scent match. No, she’s not. Do they want to find their scent match? No. It’s better with Susana because she’s ok with an open relationship. That’s why they can have Deborah or whoever else.

After a couple of days, her suppressants have worn off. They can smell she is their scent match. She started her heat so she doesn’t fight them. She’s been using them to deal with her mating instincts this whole time and nothing has changed for her. She still intends to leave them.

The heat is mostly off page. When that’s over with, Eva goes through Dorion’s stuff and finds a picture of them with Susana. Eva realizes this is an omega she saw in her dressing room at the auction. Susana used a different name and warned Eva not to try and steal her man (Elias). It seems like Susana is “missing” on purpose and doesn’t plan on coming back to Pack Ironwyld. Eva asks the guys about Susana, without telling them about meeting her, and they say they were raised in an orphanage, and Susana was there too for about a year until she got adopted, went to the authorities, and saved the guys from being abused. Eva asks how they know she was the one who tipped off the authorities. They just say that Susana told them that’s what happened. Eva realizes Susana could have easily made up a story like that and the guys just can’t see that she probably manipulated them.

She tells Cade she will forgive him if he gives her his ipad and credit card and doesn’t ask any questions. Cade is feeling the effects of the scent match, so he agrees. She finds Susana working at a brothel under her fake name. She uses the credit card to book an hour with “Demi Desire,” to reunite the guys with Susana. Eva is still planning to leave them. Then she just emotionally manipulates them to take her somewhere, that ends up being the brothel.

When Susana/Demi walks in, Susana ends up admitting she ghosted them on purpose because she was just looking for casual sex, she didn’t want to be their chosen omega, but they can’t take the hint. Eva tells Susana that’s because she told them she “saved them” from the orphanage. So, Susana tells them that was just a lie to get them into a situationship. While the guys argue with her, Eva slips out of the room, and the desk clerk drives her to an Omega Center.

Of course, because Pack Ironwyld is wealthy, the director of the Center shows them the CCTV footage of Eva arriving. They know where the Center sends Omegas, so they go straight there. I didn’t like this part. I thought it was a plot device that made it too easy to find Eva. If being wealthy can give them anything they want, they should have been able to find Susana just as easily. Eva told them she was trafficked and this dude still didn’t hesitate to give them all the info. He didn’t think it was suspicious that this pack just shows up looking for a missing sex trafficking victim???

We find out that the guys became emotionless psychopaths because of their childhood abuse. They never planned to look for a scent match, because they had no feelings about it. But once they were affected by Eva’s scent, they started to actually feel. Now they are devastated that she left them. Eva doesn’t know that they are feeling real remorse.

They follow her around the place for a couple of days. Since she doesn’t bother to tell anyone that the guys who sex trafficked her are stalking her, they are able to get into a speed dating event and try to kidnap her. They are tranqued by security and banned from the premises. This time, the director won’t give them any more information.

But they are so wealthy they have other resources and hire a hacker to find her. (Isn’t this the same thing they could have done with Susana?) When they find her working in a hospital, Dorian kidnaps her successfully this time. They take her back home and ask her to not leave them. They let her sleep in her own room and don’t pressure her.

After a few days, the police show up to arrest the Ironwyld pack. Eva doesn’t actually want them to be arrested. She finds out that it was the Clerk at the brothel who reported them. So it isn’t about the sex trafficking, it’s about being abusive or whatever reason Eva gave the desk clerk for needing to flee. Eva talks the clerk into retracting her statement and gets the pack released.

She gives them the claiming bite at the end.

If you are looking for a book with MMCs who treat the heroine like garbage, this author will 100% deliver. I've not read all of her books, but of those that I have, they all contain men who are at one point (or more likely for long extended periods) absolute dicks. Her books have men who run the gamut of flat out mate rejection, bullying, treating the FMC like a mere fuck toy, using her for some secret reason or other, physically harming her, screwing other women (including a sister), the list goes on. Fortunately, on occasion I enjoy asshole heroes so this isn't a big deal for me. What I abhor though is an FMC who is a slave to her vagina, which is the definition of EVERY SINGLE heroine I've read by this author. It doesn't matter what horrible thing the men say or do to these women, they will screw them regardless. This is why none of her books will likely ever get more than 3.5 stars from me; I just can't handle all the BBS.
*I believe all the books I've read from this author are fated mate books, so she tries to explain it away as it's the mate bond at work and that's why the ladies can't resist them---for me though, I'm just not buying it.

One example of the BBS from this book: At one point the heroine comes out of her room to find the guys hanging out with one of their fuck buddies. Heroine, rightfully so, goes off on them, basically saying f-buddy could have them, she didn't want their disease ridden dicks anyway- so yes, all good, I fully appreciate the verbal beat down. Then not two minutes later, and I am not exaggerating here, she is screwing one of them after he followed her when she stormed off. What the ever loving hell? You literally just said you didn't want their nasty dicks and now you're bouncing on one. Please, make it make sense.
**For those of you who dislike when the guys are with other women after meeting the heroine, this book is safe for you. They do not screw anyone else after purchasing the FMC. Although we do see them with the aforementioned f-buddy as the initial intro to their characters (if I recall correctly only one of them screws her).

This book was light on plot and heavy on smut; by the time the FMC's heat rolled around I was over the smut and barely skimmed it--and it was surprisingly brief. This is a standalone omegaverse, I would rather take 3-5 really good smut scenes over the (I don't know how many-but too many) rather ho hum examples in this book.

To me, this is a mid-range book, didn't hate it but also didn't really like it that much, and it probably won't warrant a reread. I only read this a few weeks ago, but nothing was really memorable (I can't remember a single character name, and honestly can't recall if there were 3 or 4 dudes). However, if you're looking for a quick book between series, or need to get your bully/dickhead hero fix, this will do, just don't expect too much.

This did not work for me

Spoilers ahead. Lots of em.

Let’s do a quick run through of Beg Me. Alphas Dorian, Rafe, and Cade purchase an omega who is being trafficked by her father with the sole intention of auctioning her heat off to yet another pack. Why? They’re trying to hunt down their pack’s promised omega. This original omega was with them in foster care, so they feel a sense of loyalty to make her their omega forever. Even though, and I quote, “I should have known she was never for us. The signs were always there. Even when her letter arrived, we’d tossed it in the trash.”

The letter in question made them think this omega was missing, leading them to search for her for TWO YEARS. But yeah, sure, they threw out the suspicious letter.

Anyway, back to the present tense, they convince their human trafficked omega stand-in, Eva, that they’ll free her if she goes along with their plan to get information on where their OG omega is. Eva, obviously, is their scent match, but they don’t know it because she’s weaning off suppressants. They treat her like absolute trash, except they can’t quite go through with letting another pack buy Eva’s heat.

Fast forward a tiny bit and Eva’s suppressants wear out. She has a heat with them knowing she’s their scent match, and then she realizes their missing OG omega is someone she bumped into while they were trying to auction her off. Eva does minimal sleuthing and sets up a “big reveal,” in which we learn that OG omega lied to the alphas about everything and never cared about them. Blah blah. Eva escapes while they’re distracted and basically goes to an omega shelter to start a new life. The trio find her, get themselves banned from the shelter, and then kidnap her. After minimal character development, the alphas get arrested because people rightfully filed a police report against them after the whole kidnapping thing.

Eva freaks out and finds documents in Dorian’s office detailing the tragic trauma of their past. This convinces her that they should be together forever, and she helps them get out of jail. Her dad tries to kidnap her again and her alphas unalive him in about 10 pages, and then the last chapter is her alphas getting upset she was on a dating site equivalent before they were together for real.

Like… am I supposed to pity the alphas? No amount of groveling can really cancel out the fact that they literally human trafficked a stranger, mistreated her, and then were intending to traffic her again. I hated them. Eva could have been cool in another life with more character development. At least the book was fairly short. 😮‍💨

Lots of groveling! I am a sucker for groveling men 😭 they truly were assholes to her at the beginning, however they flipped pretty quickly to wanting her and even wanting to keep her before they found out she was their sent match.

Possible Spoilers…although the graphics I’ve seen for this book give a lot of this away anyways.

They didn’t hate her specifically at the beginning , but the idea of her. They didn’t want an omega because they promised another one she would be theirs, however she was MIA. They purchased Eva in order to sell her at an auction to get info on the omega they were looking for. This wasn’t right (or ethical at all) but I do respect caring for someone so much that they would do anything to find her! Just wish this care was geared towards the FMC, not some other woman! It tells us how great they will be once they do realize they are going to bat for the wrong omega!

Once her drugs wore off and they realized she was their scent match, she goes through a heat with them then ditches them! Yes, girl! 👏 they catch up to her and then she runs again! The 2nd time it takes them longer to find her and you get some true remorse from the men’s POV’s while she is away from them.

Eventually they bring her back home and give her space, apologize (multiple times, sometimes on their knees!), give her gifts(daily!), and redo a couple rooms in their house so she has her own nest and a separate room with lots of light for her drawing.

Honestly, the guy who was the biggest asshole at the beginning becomes the biggest sap, almost too sappy for me 😳

Obviously, all 3 guys have rough childhoods and they are damaged which makes them emotionally unstable and slightly nuts. At the end though, they really seem like they will be amazing alphas for their omega ❤️

Would have loved for this book to have been longer, or even 2 books and have book 1 end on her running away! I loved the characters and could have spent more time with them!

🌟 2.4

The storyline looked interesting, but the execution wasn’t to my taste.

This book leaned hard on body betrayal syndrome. It kinda gave me the ick. She mentally hated them and how they treated her, while compulsively grinding her ass into them because she was so turned on. Omegas need Alphas? Bleh.

These men were not worthy main leads. I’m well into my morally grey villain era, so usually this stuff wouldn’t phase me, but the casual violence against women really, honestly got to me, whether she “deserved” it or not. I see a man hit a woman? I know he’s going to eventually do it to those women closer to him. They had an ex who conned them. As part of their retaliation, one of them kicked her in the face. I couldn’t believe it. Paired with the crappy way they treated their woman before they knew how important she’d be? They’re trash, all three of them.

Let’s get to the grovel. There was a significant portion of the book dedicated to their restitution. If I was to guess I’d say maybe 40%? That’s quite big in the scheme of things. I’m glad she ran when she did. I’m also glad these men actually said the words Sorry. However what did they actually do to show penitence? They followed her. Guilt tripped her. Bought her gifts.
I don’t know…is that enough?
It’s something, sure. I didn’t satisfy me though. Equal or greater reparations must be made. The scales hadn’t been balanced enough before she’s pitying them and falling back into their arms.

Also they said they loved her way too soon. What made them love her? Why did she love them when it was obvious that literally the only reason they wanted her was when it was pushed by biology?

By the end I just felt pity for this character who ended up with these pathetic males.

Boring.

**SPOILERS**

Eva is sold as an unregistered omega to a pack of morally gray alphas. They use her, all the while they’re looking for the “girl who go away,” Susannah. Eva tries to escape but the alphas find her every time. She becomes kinda addicted to how well they dominate her in the bedroom but outside…they really are dicks. Eva comes to realize Susannah is really Demi…a con artist that didn’t really save the alphas lives, and ran because she thought their scars were grotesque. She just wanted money and prestige, and moved onto another unlucky pack. This all comes out and Eva is fed up with the treatment she has been receiving by the alphas who are her scent matches. She realized this immediately, they didn’t. She finally gets away from them, but they convince her they want her and she comes home.

**THOUGHTS/OPINIONS**

The alphas in this book are a-holes. They literally PURCHASE Eva and treat her like cattle! They more or less force sex on her - okay she relents, but frankly it reads like non consent to me most of the time. They parade other women in front of her, they tell her they want their perfect Susannah and make her feel like shyte. When they realize she’s their scent match they do feel a little bad, and try to make it up to her, but their gestures are lame…especially since they’re still searching for Susannah/Demi, the beyotch! There wasn’t nearly enough groveling in this book. And I didn’t like how I felt as if Eva’s “love” was more from Stockholm Syndrome than anything else. There was little mention of designations…like one brief mention of nesting at the end of the book. Frankly this entire omegaverse tanked.

5 Star Read!

Cade is a big ol headed baby and I mean this in the most loving way!!!! He is personally my favorite MMC though Dorian and Rage hold a special place in my heart.

This is the first time in a good while where I've read a grovel/betrayal story and somehow came out feeling mushy while giggling and kicking my feet.

It starts off in a dark manner. I don't want to give away too many spoilers but our FMC is sold to a pack as an unregistered omega. Their attitude towards her in the beginning is cruel and ripped into her self esteem and confidence pretty much off the bat. While never truly losing her spark, we see our FMC go through trial and error trying to escape her situation.

The redemption arc is sweet in a psychotic way. The men truly fall for her before they even realize she's their scent match. They feel drawn to her essence and personality. While they make some heinous mistakes, they do make up for it tenfold. Their back stories don't feel as icky as some MMCs (i.e. Riftan from Once Upon an Oak Tree). Their development is fleshed out in a beautiful way.

The pacing in the beginning is fast paced but slows down to a more wholesome ending. I'd love to see another epilogue of this foursome. SPECIFICALLY want to mention ***SPOILER-ISH*** two extra spaces in their nest and a certain Beta cashier giving one of our MMCs the eye 👀.

All in all, a great story though you must prepare yourself. I'd recommend reading the trigger warnings so you know what you're going into and I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I did!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hooked me faster than an Alpha catching a forbidden scent. 😏

Our heroine starts the story sold off like an object, shoved into the hands of ruthless, powerful Alphas who think they know exactly what she is: spoiled, shallow, and useful only if she plays the part. What they don’t know is that she’s an Omega and she’s been hiding it under illegal suppressants for years. One wrong breath, one spark of instinct, and everything threatens to unravel.

I adored her. She’s sharp-tongued, clever, and determined not to be anyone’s possession. Watching her navigate these dangerous men while plotting her escape felt like a delicious blend of tension and rebellion. And those Alphas? Oh, they’re infuriating in the best way: arrogant, lethal, and absolutely unprepared for the hurricane they just bought.

The secrets, the power plays, the slow creeping dread that her biology might betray her, every bit kept me glued to the pages. And when she finally decides to make them regret underestimating her? Chef’s kiss. That moment scratched every dark-romance itch I have.

If you love stories about captive girls who refuse to break, Alphas who learn consequences the hard way, and worlds where instinct is both a weapon and a curse, this one will sweep you straight into obsession. It’s fierce, it’s feral, and it lingers long after the last page.

A must-read for fans of twisty Omegaverse power dynamics with a heroine who refuses to bow—even when fate demands it.

First of all—-don’t read another omegaverse if you’re reading this!! Lmfaooo 😂😂

I was listening to Pack Darling and then reading this (at different times) and my brain was scattered. This is super similar to pack darling, only that the alphas aren’t as assholes as PD.

Now, let’s get it short and simple.

This is a bully, humiliate, no joke, belittle Alphaholes x omega story, mkay?

Check and double check your triggers. It’s not as bad as some super dark romance bullshit we got going around but this is a romantic omegaverse that gets down and dirty (literally).

It IS an insta lust plot.

It IS a prostitute-theme, although nothing toooooooooo darkly was mentioned.

It IS an emotional rollercoaster, but only bits and pieces because our possessive alphaholes usually makes it up like the next pages or so.

‼️And we are hitting the SPOILER part‼️

Now there is one thing that I am NOT okay with and had hoped the FMC took some action but didn’t .

The part where Dorian forced a claiming mark on Eva and I wished she would have punch him for that. Idc how possessive or fucked up the situation was, Dorian came into the room, fucked her and then bit her.

I had hoped she’d at least yell at him or say something but it was nada.

But oh well, Kay bye!

Allie Santos delivers again. This book was sooooo good.

Our MMC's are Dorian, Rafe and Cade, trust me you're not going to like them at first....at ALL.
The FMC is Eva, smart, tough and an Omega.

The boys purchase Eva from her father and plan to auction her, they're auctioning her because they're trying to get "their" omega back. Is their omega their scent match, no. The backstory about this other omega and why the think she's theirs is laid out completely by Allie Santos and it's good, you can almost understand what the guys are trying to do and why.

The three Alphas are a**holes, plain and simple, they are incredibly mean to Eva, lock her up and basically treat her like crap.

Eva is just biding her time and planning to get away as soon as possible. When she comes to realize they are her scent matches, doesn't matter to Eva she's out as soon as she can find a way.

It's a detailed action driven story. Yes, the boys are d*cks but is you stay with it, the redemption is perfect.

I've been a huge fan of Allie Santos for a long time and each story she brings us gets better and better, she is definitely a automatic read for me.
also, don't miss her authors note, they are always a delight.

I loved this book! don't miss this one.....the spice is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 absolutely insane!!1

🌶️ 4.5/5 (super spicy!)

Hands down one of the best reads I’ve read all year. Am I surprised by this? Not at all. Allie is incredible with her writing and always knows how to bring the best bullying, groveling, betrayal, and possessiveness with her characters.

There’s a lot that happens and at first you’re going to really really dislike the MMC’s at first (as always expected with Allie’s books 🤭) but then you’re going to absolutely love them.

The spice is super spicy, I counted 15 scenes from 0ral to interc0urse and two heats happen within the book. So if you’re looking for an angsty and spicy read, this is it.

I love all of the MMC’s. I have such a soft spot for Cade because he crumbled first and ugh he’s just so precious 🥹

Their backgrounds are super heartbreaking honestly.

The only thing I wish would have happened was for her to turn the tables more and tell them “Beg me.” Ahhh that would have been 👩🏻‍🍳🤌🏼💋✨

There’s a lot of dub-con and non-con in this book. The MMC’s use sex as a weapon throughout the book.

The FMC is sold to the MMC’s at the start of the book. Ostensibly because they want to trade her for access to some information about their missing Omega/friend. They aren’t faithful to the missing Omega. They imprison, abuse, and rape the FMC while she’s their prisoner.

They’re her scent matches so she also engages in some consensual sexual encounters with them.

So… all of this is a lot.

Eventually they discover she’s their scent match and their tune changes. Now they love her and they’re awfully sorry about all the abuse. They still initiate dub-con encounters with her and kidnap her.

She forgives them, because of the scent match thing and she feels bad about their troubled childhoods. They do some groveling.

The problem is that we never really find out why they were ok with sex trafficking some innocent Omega, nor why they were ok with physically, sexually, and emotionally abusing her. At no point were we ever able to reconcile that with their later regret that they’d done these things to their scent match.

Hardcore bullying and mistreatment to HEA

First off the men do not know she is their scent match. This does not excuse the way the treated her. These men bought her in hopes of using and unregistered Omega to get info on the Omega they might as kids.

Every single one of these characters has been abused growing up. The men think she is just some spoiled princess and their way to find someone they have been searching for. What they don't expect is to slowly find themselves drawn to her more and more but not understanding why.

These men starting acting weird and possessive but never suspected why. Once they discover the truth they have to work really hard to make it up to her. Especially after she put them in contact with the Omega they had been looking for then she ran.

I definitely felt for these men as their story was revealed. I definitely wanted to hold them and promise they were safe now.

That little surprise at the end I definitely didn't expect but it was fantastic.

The pack bought her at an auction thinking she was a meek omega...they find out soon enough that wasn't the case. They're arrogant, controlling, and convinced the heroine is nothing more than a spoiled Omega. Their cruelty and entitlement make them easy to despise. Every scene with them is dripping with toxic dominance.

I didn’t really care for the whole “body betrayal” syndrome that seems to pop up whenever there’s an Omegaverse. The idea that her body reacts against her will felt frustrating and repetitive, and it took away from the strength of her character at times. I wanted her defiance to stand on its own without biology undermining it.

I’ve really enjoyed several of Allie Santos’ series especially, Moretti Academy. In contrast, Beg Me felt more rushed and didn’t offer the same depth of character development, even though the tension and grit were strong enough to keep me engaged throughout.

So the MMCs actively participated and supported the trafficking of omegas. In fact, they purchased the FMC from her abusive father with the intention of selling her solely to get access to an omega trafficking ring and find the omega they were actually wanting. Maybe my standards, as bottom of the barrel as they are, are just too high to think that any MMC that supports human trafficking is disgusting and unloveable.

Anyway, we can couple the fictional male version of yeast infections with body betraying syndrome and all of a sudden we're left with sexual assaults the author has called dubious consent because wet = consent, right? Whatever. It was really hard to not think of it as sexual assault and rape when the men were such useless, disgusting examples of Epstein list aficionados. Even with the thought that the dubious consent worked, we still had lack luster groveling. The FMC was basically kidnapped and hounded until she forgave the MMCs, and she STILL had to save the day in the end.

The more I think about this, the madder I get.

I liked it

This story had a lot of great plots and the authors creativity was certainly presented in this book. There were a few things I didn’t really like about this book but there were other things I loved.

I am not a fan of an omega rendered hopeless to her omegas DNA. I love the embrace your omega instincts trope. I really do, but only when it’s warranted. I felt like Eva was giving tooooooo much of herself to her Alphas when they 100% didn’t deserve it.

It’s like anything they did, made her succumb to their will.

There were certain parts of the story that just felt, incomplete? Like it just felt like more should have been added.

I give this book 3 stars. I wish Eva character was built with a little more backbone. I think the author stripped away some of Eva’s omega strength.
