WALL STREET WANTS YOU TRAPPED. CRYPTO SETS YOU FREE.

The financial system was never built for you to win. Banks profit when you stay in debt. Wall Street thrives when you stay confused. Inflation quietly eats away at your savings year after year. But the system is optional.

In Crypto Wealth Without Wall Street, we pull back the curtain on the strategies that allowed an everyday underdog to break free from the old financial game and build lasting wealth with cryptocurrency and DeFi.

Inside, you’ll
• Why Bitcoin and Ethereum are the foundation of a new financial world.
• How to avoid beginner mistakes and safely buy, store, and grow crypto.
• What DeFi really is, and how yield farming, staking, and liquidity pools can create real cash flow.
• How to think like an investor, manage risk, and build wealth without gambling or speculation.
• The underdog investor a step-by-step playbook for achieving financial freedom.

You don't need Wall Street. You don’t need permission. You only need the courage to take the first step. It starts with this book.

Crypto Wealth Without Wall Street: The Underdog Investor’s Guide to Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, DeFi, Yield Farming, and Creating Financial Freedom Without Banks by Lucas Rubix is a guide that serves to educate people on how they can become financially free with a new type of currency.

Before readers get into the meat and potatoes of the book, they are given the rundown on how the money they currently make works, where banks and the government are concerned. Rubix explains that when we make deposits into our bank accounts, that money is digital, but it’s controlled by the bank, not consumers. He also provides his backstory on how he got into cryptocurrency. He shares his story of meeting a wealthy man who worked in the oil rig business and got him in the same line of work, making six figures. Yet, he wasn’t fulfilled. When he quit with no plan, he then went into the fitness business and lost everything the first two years. But when business started looking up and he made his first million, he started investing in stocks and index funds until he realized that the investment banks make money even when investors lose money.

By 2020, Rubix had happened upon cryptocurrency as what he calls a “reimagining of how money could work.” He realized that, unlike the depreciating value of the dollar every time the government prints it, crypto “couldn’t be frozen, inflated away, or confiscated.” The consumer becomes the bank. Rubix goes on to solidify his point about the money in the banks never being our own without the permission of the government, especially after learning of a political decision that would persecute supporters of essential workers in the trucking industry by freezing their accounts. He even talks about his experience with mastering the success of crypto investing through trial and error to educate the masses. Readers are taken inside the pages of a masterclass to learn everything there is to know, from building an untouchable portfolio to learning the wealth principles of the rich.

Lucas Rubix has created a very detailed and enlightening guide, especially for novice investors. But in my opinion, even the most experienced investor can learn and change their mindset about money and how money works just by reading this guide. I also appreciate that he wasn’t afraid to share personal anecdotes in each section, elaborating on his experiences rather than just diving into the business aspect of crypto. He made his life lessons accessible as he shared tidbits. I enjoyed the story he shared about how his father came to Canada, not knowing any English, but worked hard and taught him just half of the equation of how money works, but Bitcoin taught him the other half.

Not only does Rubix share anecdotes, but he also throws in some interesting history on what money was to help readers understand why Bitcoin matters now. He also goes into great detail on the Bitcoin White Paper. He broke down how the financial institutions can reverse transactions, freeze accounts, charge high fees if they want, but with Bitcoin, your transactions are a sheer peer-to-peer network without a middleman. But for me, one of the most profound sections of the book discusses the psychology of how humans view exponential gains, and he discusses the biases that cause many to fall into the psychological trap.

By the time readers delve into the deeper sections, they learn how to build their own financial system with DeFi, and Rubix shares his experience applying for a mortgage. He had all of the credentials, but they required insurance because his job at the time on oil rigs was considered high-risk to the bank. He shares what DeFi actually is and how it’s not like the traditional mortgage banking lender. I was intrigued and locked in from page to page, and I felt like I was learning a lot that I never knew. He breaks down what he considers the banking scam as well, and actually gives examples that I think a lot of readers and potential investors will appreciate.

There is so much to unpack and really learn inside the five sections of Rubix’s guide, but it is well worth it to do the reading. This isn’t one of those guides to just skim through because there are life lessons and valuable information page after page. Serious investors, novice or skilled, who would like to switch their trading game up from traditional stocks to crypto, would enjoy learning from Rubix. Readers who value their financial well-being will benefit from reading Crypto Wealth Without Wall Street.
