The Archer's Wish

Rate this book
A broken warrior. A gentle healer. A miracle waiting to ignite hope.

Once, Liam McRay was a warrior who made enemies falter with a single glance. A master archer and battlefield champion, he lived for victory, honor, and the thrill of the fight. But after a crushing injury steals the strength from his leg, he is left with nothing but pain, frustration, and the whispers of those who once admired him. Crippled. Broken. Finished. The words echo louder than any battle cry.

His days are now measured by the unrelenting ache in his bones and the pity in the eyes of his clansmen, something he cannot bear. And yet, one person refuses to look at him with anything but quiet Beitris Lewis, the healer’s apprentice tasked with easing his suffering. Her gentle hands restore more than just muscle and movement; they threaten to awaken the part of his heart he thought the injury had shattered.

But desire is a battlefield he cannot afford. Drawn to her warmth, yet ashamed of what he’s become, Liam keeps his distance, even as she becomes the one constant in his life. When duty, danger, and the whisper of a long-forgotten miracle stone collide, Liam must decide whether to cling to his broken pride… or reach for the woman who just might help him reclaim his purpose—and his heart.

Warrior and the Healer.

After a devastating war injury, Liam is no longer the fierce warrior and archer he once was. Now he is relegated to scribe for the laird, but still longing for his days of old. The only bright spot in his life is the time he spends with the healer, Beitris who is assigned to his recovery. But he does not feel worthy of her and Beitris does not know if she can trust the former rouge with her heart. When Beitris is attacked and Liam comes to her rescue, things begin to change for them both with a little help from siblings and a magical stone. Looking forward to Kier’s story next.

A Warrior, A Healer and a Magic Stone Wish
This is a wonderful story that captured me from the start and what a heartfelt story it turned out to be.
Liam is a severely wounded warrior emotionally and physically and Beitris is the healer with hands that do wonders for his aching body.
Their attraction soon took me into a desirous romance story that was so sweet and heartfelt.
I truly loved this story; the entire cast of characters were great supportive people except for the town jerk who put Beitris in danger.
Between Liam, Beitris and the wishing stone all came to a very happy ending.
My wish would be that this book is just the beginning of a new series. Maybe Keir's story.
I wish I could give this book another star for it was a perfect story for me to enjoy.
💖Love the new cover (not this one above)

Amazing adventure

A beautifully written story. The characters were awesome and very brave. Loved that you had a town bully in it. The therapy he had to go through was incredible. You brought the story alive! Thanks for sharing your story.

STOPPED READING!

I couldn’t get interested in this story. It didn't grab my attention because Liam already knew Beitris and I enjoy the stories more if they don't know one another.
