New Yorker, globetrotter, author, designer — and unapologetic storyteller of steamy emotional journeys.
Marian Andrew was raised in the city that never sleeps, polished by a British education, and now lives her European dream in Germany alongside her incredibly supportive husband, amazing son, and two mischievous feline sidekicks.
After two decades in the fashion world — jet-setting between New York, London, and the Far East, chasing inspiration across the globe — Marian traded couture for characters. Today, she channels her creative fire into writing stories that swerve between dirty and devastating, filthy and heartfelt. She also designs all her own book covers, because frankly, no one else can get the vibe just right.
A specialist in digital design and fluent in three languages, Marian grew up with a multicultural heartbeat that fuels her obsession with messy, beautiful human emotions, sharp banter, dangerous chemistry, and the kind of happily-ever-afters you have to fight for.
When she’s not setting her keyboard on fire, she’s ballroom dancing, binge-reading romance novels, or testing celebrity chef recipes (and occasionally setting off the smoke alarm).

Raven's volatile natures make so much sense after her father told her about how her mother went guns blazing to save her when she was a child. How her mother didn't follow orders, didn't listen to reason, she just grabbed her stuff, jumped on her bike and rescued her daughter dropping bodies left and right. It makes sense; Raven gets it from her mama. LOL!!!
Yes, Raven has been a lot to deal with in this trilogy. She refused to let her men lead and as a result she made a lot of mistakes. Raven had many crosses to bare, and this trilogy was literally her being forged through fire and rising from the ashes stronger. Her men ever supportive and protective knew that Raven needed this closure to the dark past that has traumatized her since childhood; but the guys also knew she was a loose cannon.
This was a satisfying tale of vigilante justice with a good mix of spice, betrayal, action, tested loyalties, and strengthening of bonds.
It was so good to see Raven so happy and carefree at the end of this trilogy. My girl has been on edge for a long time, and she could never find peace especially when so many women and children were constantly in danger. Raven is still and forever will be a REAL BADDIE!!!!
I was so excited but also sad to read theco cousin of this series. I love these characters so much. Rev goes through so much and her growth and how realistically she reacts to things due to her trauma is so emotionally grabbing. We see all of our favorite characters again and for the first part of the story I have a live hate relationship for west again. I want to shake him and say "communicate!" We see more of Elodie and I have such big feelings about her. I don't want to give any spoilers so you just have yo read it and make your own conclusion about her. Im curious if we will see more of her. The final showdown was everything I wanted from the series and I was here for it. We get our happy ever after that I was wanting and I am sad to see them go. I hope we get more in this world where we get to see the characters again.
Catching the seasonal sickness is never fun however books like this make it a little bit better when you’re bed bound! Marian once again brought her A game with this newest instalment of the BOS series, it’s safe to say I stayed awake reading this when i definitely should of been sleeping however no regrets over here every second of this book was worth loosing sleep over.
Now let’s get into the good parts….this is the finale of this trilogy and it ended exactly how I knew it would, with a bang! Like every book in this series it is action packed and each chapter keeps you intrigued and wanting more. From the relatable characters to the world building every second of this story had me hooked and I couldn’t help but root for our MC! I’m so glad I got sick in November because this was the perfect read to lift my spirits!
**BOOK REVIEW** BOOK: Illuminatus AUTHOR: Marian Andrew REVIEW: This book was a wild ending to a wild series. The spice was spicing, the action had me at the edge of my seat, and it was dark! Please heed the trigger warnings because when I say the book is dark, I mean dark! It was great to see Raven and her men get the ending they deserved! I had a hard time putting this down long enough to write. I love how strong-willed Raven is and how obsessed with her the men are! If you're into dark romance and are looking to read a new series, I highly recommend reading the Brotherhood of Saints series and then immediately jumping into the Saints & Shadows series. You'll thank me later! ❤ RATING: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Illuminatus is book 3 in the Brotherhood of Saints series. This story is so full of excitement and action. I feel like Raven sort of lost her groove a little in the second book and took a step down, but she really came back into herself in this one and stepped her game back up. I loved the whole capturing of the Black Widow scene. It played out in my head like a movie, Raven in her fancy dress, armed to the teeth, ready to take down the Black Widow. The spice is still spicy and I really enjoy the relationship and connection she has with her dad. That was really heartwarming after everything she's been through. This was a great ending to Ravens story. I'm sad it's over, but so glad that she got her closure. This whole series is a must read!!!
I devoured this, once I started reading, I just had to keep going. Fast paced, it felt like an action movie, a car chase through Vienna, gun battles outside Paris! The spice, an inferno blazing between them. The private suite with Killian and in the storm with West were particularly hot. Raven seemed calmer, only letting her crazy out with Elodie and omg, those scenes were to die for. The writing in this was amazing, I was highlighting passages that were so beautiful, that I wanted to cry. I could stay with these characters for even longer, so if Marian can create more adventures, I am beyond happy to read them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
LOOOVE these books! An amazing conclusion. I adore Raven and her men. I’ve always had a soft spot for Raven. She can be complicated at times, but she’s so fierce and strong. No matter what happens those men are obsessed with her, they’re so protective. I just love them.
There’s a lot of action! A lot happened. I love when books read like movies in my head. The spice, as always with this author was amazing! I can’t recommend these books enough.
Wow! What a wild ride this trilogy has been. I am so glad I took the time to embark on the journey that is The Brotherhood of Saints. I've definitely been invested in seeing how everything played out, and it was absolutely fantastic. So much drama, action, betrayal, shocks, and let me not forget the spice! This book had me on the edge of my seat. Relationships were fraying, danger was lurking, uncertainty lay ahead, and yet everything comes to light, comes full circle, and pieces are rebuilt. Relationships made stronger than ever. Raven is one strong woman. She literally raised from the ashes, like a phoenix. The men were perfect, as always. Absolute job well done!!
The last book, the end of the series. Finally we get the bigger picture about Raven, this was the closure I definitely needed to love the entire series even more. Knowing what I know now, I will be reading the entire series again and look at things differently. It took a while, but that ending, it was like I was looking at another Raven. A Raven that had found peace, was happy, all her men. This book is still on the dark side, action-packed en spicy, just like the previous books. Raven is still a woman who will not be held down by her men, she still stands her ground, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This book sees the guys finally finally understanding and seeing Raven for all that she is, including parts they may have overlooked before, and it’s about time. There is so much that happens in this book with twists and turns throughout that keep you guessing as to what happens next, meaning you don’t want to put the book down as you are desperate to see what happens. This book wraps up the series and gives Raven and her men the hard fought HEA they deserve. You won’t be disappointed!
Wow! I can't believe its over. What a fantastic way to end Raven's story! I loved it!! From beginning to end I was hooked! It was filled with lots of action, drama, so many different emotions, and lots of spice. Raven again proves that she is a queen. No, she isn't perfect. It's her flaws, her growth, strength, and her natural ability to lead. I was so happy to see Raven get her closure. Her men truly are the best too!
This is the last book in the Brotherhood of Saints' quest to find the Black Widow. I never would have imagined who the Black Widow would end up being. I think this is the best series that Marian has written. I love the characters and all they've had to go through. I really like the ending when Raven was dancing outside, because I believe Raven finally found her peace.
What a perfect way to end this series 😍😍. Gosh this one might be my all time favourite. The way it was packed with twist, plot, drama, action and spice 🥵. I couldn’t get enough of them. Specially all the boys 🙈. Now gonna re read this series again and again.
Illuminatus is definitely the most action-packed and spice-packed book in the trilogy. It resulted in a fast-flowing story with a satisfying ending; I honestly wish there were vigilantes like these running around the world for real, making it safer for women and children to be alive.
The only reason I sticked with a four star rating, is because I just can’t avoid the fact I really didn’t like Raven’s attitude from start to finish. I’m allergic to people blaming others for not trusting them, while proving the entire time they are right not to. I like the men, but it’s hard to love a series when the fmc rubs me the wrong way. I haven’t seen a lot of reviews where people struggle with the same thing, so it’s probably just a me-thing.
No matter what, I love this author’s work, it’s just this time one of the characters really doesn’t work for me. It won’t stop me reading future work, I just might skip if the author decides to continue these characters’ story ARC.
I want to clarify a little confusion about this title. I’m the author, and Illuminatus: Saints & Sinners was never officially published. During the publishing process, the wrong subtitle was accidentally entered in KDP, and although I canceled it, Amazon generated an ASIN that is now stuck in the system.
Please do not review this version. The correct book is Illuminatus: Saints & Shadows, and that’s the one I would love for readers to review. Thank you so much for your understanding!
