This book is a collection of kinky erotic stories which are steaped in subs, doms, Lesbianism, and roll play and the like. If you dare to take a walk on the wild side this is a good place to start.
WARNING I recommend this book to those over eighteen years of age only because of its' explicit descriptions of sex.

In my experience, it takes a very talented author to create a really good, complete story within the limited number of pages contained in a, "short story". Since anthologies typically contain short stories, I did not have the highest expectations when I began listening to this audiobook. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my assumptions were wrong. KINKY contains a collection of very well written stories by some incredibly talented authors! I was floored (in a good way) by the taboo scenario created by the talented mind of author Kathleen Bradean. Woah! I am rarely surprised by what I read and even more rarely do I find stories about fetishes I haven't previously read about.... Ms. Bradean's story she is both of these! I was glad to be introduced to her writing and look forward to reading more of her books.
Unfortunately, not every book was as kinky as Ms. Bradean's. CSome of the stories (including Teresa Noelle Roberts’) contained beautifully written, sizzling hot sex scenes yet they lacked a real storyline (a common issue I have with most short stories). I also found a few stories including Saskia Walker’s to be a tad far-fetched. I am a tough critic though and am certain that those who like fantasy & BDSM would love the stories I deemed too unrealistic. Although not every story was perfect, each story in this collection was different from the other and each was entertaining in some way. Being just 51 pages long, I can't imagine that anyone who likes BDSM erotica would have anything to lose by giving this anthology a chance!
Narrator Lia Langola did not simply read these stories aloud, she somehow brought the characters and their situations to life! Ms. Langola performance was so phenomenal that at times I found myself completely immersed in a story, as though a friend was telling me her own tale.... It was truly remarkable! Also notable were the wide range of voices Ms. Langola used to portray the different characters, specially in the 3rd and 4th stories. She was even able to pull off the voice of a male main character! Lia Langola's performance played a huge part in making this anthology a success!

meh ... nothing really amazing here ... in fact , some of the stories were pretty bad ...
some stories were kinda disturbing - like the weirdo chick who paints her face white, lips blue, then submerges herself in cold water to the point of freezing, then lays on a gurney covered by a white sheet pretending she is dead.... Then she has a guy in surgical gloves come in and jerk off on her without even touching her and once he is done, he is to cover her back up with a sheet and leave. Don't know who's nastier - her , pretending to be dead , or him - getting off on a dead person!
Other stories either weren't particularly sexy or well written ... they were just blah ... (like the first story of the magical dominatrix ?! really!? magical!? but then we didn't even get anything graphic in that story ...)

This anthology is filled with hot, steamy romances. Each one is different in its own way. But the entire anthology has a little bit of everything. There is for everyone in this book. The stories are quick to read/listen to. They are perfect for when you have only a few minutes to read. But I warn you, they are sizzling hot!! You may not want to stop with just one.
Lia Langola is superb in the narration. Each character had a different pitch making it easy to tell them apart. Ms Langola has a soft voice that is so easy to listen to. As she narrates, the characters come to life and the story become more of a movie in your mind than an audio book. Ms Langola's narration truly enhances this book.

April 27, 2024I've been listening to this book as an audiobook over a long period of time, interrupted by other books several times.
It's very explicit, and very enjoyable. I like how the individual stories are neatly separated, and it makes for a great book to pick up for a short time, and then put down for a long time between sessions.

I love short stories, and it takes a very good writer to be able to capture a good story in a small amount of time...These were naughty little dom/sub stories that did not disappoint! I quite liked them all, even if the cold tub lady disturbed me a bit...I have heard about this fetish before and its a really bizarre one..and also because I am more of a Dom in my own life I don't care so much for men being dominant over women...but I do like a good story about it in a consensual environment...This book intrigued me from start to finish and I will probably listen again because I am a bit kinky and twisted myself! lol But shhhhhh! Don't tell! LOL Ok who am I trying to fool? My true friends know I am a weirdo and I am perfectly ok with that!! Great listen!!!!

This was a bit of 'kinky' chick erotica.It was good as far as that goes but rather tame in my opinion.Lia Langola ia a great choice for narrator.I was gifted this book for a fair review.

Maybe I'm getting too old for this. Or just too old for kinky short stories. Or for kinky that are this short. I don't know. It didn't work for me.
