Shattered Code hits harder than anything I’ve read in KU this year
I read nonstop in KU — military thrillers, spy fiction, vigilante stuff — and most sequels either get slower or start repeating themselves. Shattered Code does the opposite. It levels up.
If Blood Impact was sharp, this one is a razor.
Reeve Voss is colder, smarter, and more dangerous than ever, and the story never drifts for even a page. No fluff. No pointless side missions. No “action wallpaper” like some big-name authors fall into. Everything here has purpose and consequences — and the tension never lets go.
The pacing is brutal in the best way:
fast, focused, relentless.
The tactics feel real, the violence hits with weight, and the logic is airtight. That’s exactly where so many top-shelf thrillers start losing discipline — long detours, logic gaps, scenes that go nowhere. Shattered Code avoids all of that and stays locked-in from start to finish.
This book proves the series isn’t just good — it’s top-tier KU. Cleaner writing, smarter structure, harder hits. It feels like a smarter, more modern evolution of the genre.
