In the hospitality industry, we have a very important rule which shouldn’t be broken under any circumstances; don’t sleep with the guests.
It’s a terrible idea for a lot of reasons, and as the very professional manager of my family business, The Chestnut Bed and Breakfast, I know to follow that rule religiously.
Except that one time.
And that other time.
Okay, that sounds bad. Questionable choices aside, though, I’m really good at my job. Everyone makes mistakes, and now the most important thing is that I don’t repeat them.
Easy peasy, right?
Wrong. Not easy peasy.
In fact, I can’t think of anything more complicated than spending Christmas weekend alone with the men responsible for my two most epic lapses in professionalism.
Except, maybe learning that Wells Davis and August Vogel don’t just have history with me, they have it with each other, too.
Santa must have a sense of humor, because I definitely didn’t have a hot mess on my Christmas list.
Cleo White's affinity for all things dramatic and hopelessly romantic began the day she was born, which happened to be in the middle of a record-breaking snowstorm on Valentine’s Day. Her love of literature came soon after, and she spent the better part of her childhood with both a book and a notebook full of unfinished stories in hand. Later in life, she found a love of writing spicy books with complicated characters and dysfunctional family drama. Cleo currently lives in Vermont with her husband and two daughters. When not writing, she can be found hiking, gardening, painting, and consuming excessive quantities of caffeine.
Lacey is a manager at a B&B, and she takes her job very seriously. One of her main rules is never to get involved with her guests, but she finds herself breaking that rule not just once but twice! When Christmas rolls around, she is surprised that the two men she had one-night stands with are her guests.
This book was a fun and steamy read! I loved the chemistry between the main characters. At first, Lacey tries to maintain her professionalism, but as she realizes that both men have a history with each other and are still drawn to her, her resolve starts to waver. August and Wells are such a delightful contrast. August is career-driven, flirty, and easygoing, while Wells is more reserved and grumpy. Although Wells is a bit hesitant about getting involved with both August and Lacey, he can’t deny the strong attraction he feels towards them.
Cleo has a fantastic way of writing spicy scenes. Those scenes are really hot!! Beyond the spice, I appreciated that each character has their own distinct personality. Even though this book is a novella, I could really feel the longing and a bit of angst. It was also nice to see characters from the previous book! There’s also a heartwarming family moment that I loved. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick, spicy holiday romance, this one is definitely worth picking up!
oh how i do love a spicy little why choose Christmas novella.
Lacey is the only one running her b&b over the Christmas holiday. and fate would have it that the only two guests that will be staying there are the only two guests she’s ever slept with. so when Lacey sees Wells and August together in her lobby, she realizes this might not be a 2nd chance only for her but between them, also. but has too much time passed between Wells and August to make up for the past? and what happens once the Christmas holiday passes and August returns to California?
i’m not the biggest fan of 2nd chance romances, but Cleo White was able to their relationships justice, especially in a novella. and the tension between them all made it so that when they finally all got together it would have melted the winter storm outside the b&b 🥵
this is a standalone, but by the end i realized the side characters were couples in other age gap novellas the author has written. it was not necessary to read the other books to understand these characters, but it def made me intrigued by their stories since they all seem to be age gap romances.
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ MMF, 1st person multi-POV age gap, 2nd chance, “daddy” in name only, grumpy bookstore owner, sunshine b&b owner, forced proximity, MMF group scenes, bisexual mmcs, DP, HEA, novella, standalone safety: no OW or OM drama, no manwhores
No mercies were given on me and my vibrator when Cleo created this book and these men.
It’s just… wow. So good. So yummy. Enough backstory to truly love the characters, eat this shit up in one sitting, and simultaneously need more even though this was perfect. Pacing? Spot on. Enough story and burn? 110%. Spice? Holy Jesus Batman. (I kinda wish we got a little mm scene, though we got a small teaser and I think that was the hottest part🤤)
Slightly older yummmmmmmy equally dominant daddies, who like the girl, who also like each other???? Yea. Yea I like that. I couldn’t download the bonus epilogue fast enough.
I fan girl over every single book that Cleo White releases - but a SUPRISE MMF holiday romance?!?!?!? I’m pretty sure my squeals could be heard across the universe! Cleo continues to dominate age gap romances for me, and now I’m going to be begging and pleading for more throuple/why choose romances from her. She continues her reign as an auto-buy author that I am completely obsessed with!
Triple Tidings is a standout MMF romance - Lacey, August, and Wells are GOALS! I loved how their personalities balanced each other out and they brought out the best in each other. Cleo does such a fantastic job crafting these stories and I fall in love with every single character she writes. Each character had their shining moments and I loved the banter, the angst, the humor, and alllllll the dirty talk.
Her novellas are also the perfect example of what a novella should be - short, but wraps up the plot and character arcs perfectly so you feel utterly satisfied! Cleo is an absolute master and Triple Tidings is another gold standard she can add to her list.
I also can’t not mention the spice, because Cleo hit it out of the park with this one. It’s so so so spicy in the best ways and while it’s mostly spice with just a hint of plot, it absolutely works (how she does it ever single time, I have no idea but I am forever thankful for it!)! Get your fan and iced water ready because you’re going to need it.
And keep your eyes peeled for all the little easter eggs we get (my lips are sealed)! They catapulted this book to the next level and I could not help but fall more in love each time a character popped up.
Highly recommend - 5 starts - will be re-reading this one each holiday season (and let’s be honest, all year round because it’s that good)!
I received an eARC of this book, but any reviews are entirely my own.
A B&B manager, a doctor, and a bookstore owner, all under one roof until Christmas AND they also have a history with each other?? This was a surprise indeed. I immediately rushed to download this the minute I saw the email. I love Cleo's books, and this does have some of my favorite tropes.
I did like the dynamics between the three characters. Where Wells was the broody, silent type, August was the charming and easygoing one who could put everyone at ease. Lacey was the perfect character to balance the two out with her sunshiny personality and friendly nature.
When I pick up Cleo's books, I just know that the spice is going to do it for me. And I was right yet again. It was amazing!! Things were heated between all three of them from the moment they laid eyes on each other. I also liked how things turned from Wells and August feeling jealous over the prospect of the other being with Lacey to being turned on by the idea of sharing her.
And the way they shared her was sexy as hell. I loved how Wells took charge and ordered the other two, I loved how August loved to push Wells's buttons, and I loved how Lacey was bold and unapologetic in taking what she needed. Together, these three had insane chemistry. The men and their dirty talk were oh so freaking good.
I do, however, wish that there was more insight given about the three characters. It felt a bit incomplete to me to be able to relate/connect with the characters on a deeper level. Although all three characters had a history with each other, to me it wasn't reflected enough in their actions, conversations, or their inner thoughts. And though it was a second-chance romance, it was a bit too rushed to establish that between all three characters.
We do get some insight into August Vogel—his feelings of being alone, his one-night stand with Lacey, and his lately estranged relationship with his brother Bram. I loved to see him reconnect with Bram and also his family. It was also great to see Bram and Sophie again.
There was also some insight into Lacey's life, even if it wasn't really detailed. I still got to learn about her relationship with her parents and grandma, her love for running the B&B, and her one-night stands with both August and Wells.
However, when it came to Wells's character, I feel like it wasn't too fleshed out. I did love him based on what was known about him, but I needed to know more. There were a lot of things about him that needed more explaining, like his relationship with his family, why he felt awkward and stiff in relationships, his work, and why he chose that path. So yeah, I wish there was more clarity about his character.
I also wish that the ending had a clearer resolution. I know that there is an epilogue after the three get back together, but personally that ending felt too abrupt and incomplete for me. Maybe because I was expecting a different ending.
Thank you to Cleo White for providing me with the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Alpha/Beta/ARC review for Triple Tidings by Cleo White
Thanks to Cleo for having me on her team and for the alpha?... beta?... ARC?... ah hell, whatever. Big thanks to Cleo for trusting me to have early eyes on this one!
What to expect: holiday novella, MMF, second chance (X3!), age gap, bisexual rep, daddy kink, forced proximity, lovers to strangers to lovers, snowed in
TW/CW: overall a pretty light read as this definitely leans into the smut over the plot.
Review: 4.5/5
Surprise Cleo White release?! What an icon.
Things I liked: - The intrigue for August Vogel has been real since he was slyly introduced in the Daddy Issues series. When Cleo mentioned he would get a story someday I was fully on board. But then she turns around and makes it MMF?! Hell. Yes. Everyone deserves their happy and if their happy comes in the form of an extra partner or two, who are we to judge? I loved seeing these three come together. - This is excellent for a holiday novella. I want my holiday novellas to be quick and dirty. And August, Lacey, and Wells check those boxes in spades. - On top of all the spicy times, we get immaculate cameos from Bram and Sophie. This novel solidified my love for those two even more (particularly Sophie). Even though this is packed with spice, it doesn't stray away from Cleo's typical brand of humor and we love to see it.
Things I disliked or missed the mark: - Just that we didn't have more time with this fire trio.
Cleo really is the gold standard for spicy, age gap holiday novellas. She never misses and her dedication is truly amazing. Cleo will continue to be an auto-read author and so long as she writes it, I guaran-damn-tee you, I'll be reading it.
I must’ve been a good girl this year because this sexy surprise release was the ultimate Christmas present! Triple Tidings by Cleo White is a spicy and downright delectable novella that I absolutely devoured faster than a Christmas cookie!
This MMF romance delivers on all the chemistry and connection you crave. Lacey, the ultra-professional manager of her small-town B&B, has one iron-clad rule: don't sleep with the guests. A rule she's broken twice for two unforgettable nights. Now, right before Christmas, both of those swoonworthy one-night stands (the broody Wells and the career-driven August) are booked to stay the weekend. Did I mention they're the only guests?! What happens when these two men, who seem to have a history of their own, are suddenly vying for Lacey's attention? Hotness, pure hotness!! I lived for the humorous banter, the delightful angst, and, of course, all the delicious dirty talk!
While this is a novella, Cleo has a way of perfectly wrapping up the plot and character arcs in a shortened story, leaving you utterly satisfied. There’s no loose strings, but I can’t say you won’t be craving more of her delicious spice! While this story is mostly sizzling spice with a hint of plot, it absolutely works its magic, showing the adorable and undeniable chemistry of this trio. There’s even a cameo from some familiar faces of Cleo’s other books. Don’t worry though – this can totally be read as a standalone and 100% enjoyed!
If you're looking for a steamy, snowed-in escape that will get you in the Christmas mood, don’t walk—run to get this book!
Well Merry Christmas to me! This novella was short and spicy and downright delectable! I love a good why choose, but when the boyfriends are boyfriends, SWOON.
❤️Why choose romance ❤️Forced proximity ❤️Second chance (x3) ❤️Age gap
Lacey is the manager of the towns bed and breakfast and she has one rule - do not sleep with the guests. Well, she has broken that rule twice and had the absolute best nights of her life.
Now it’s right before Christmas and Lacey is the only one working and lo and behold, both of her one night stands are staying the weekend at the b&b. And they are the only guests. What hotness could possibly happen here?!
Wells is broody and doesn’t want to let himself be happy and find the all consuming happiness. August is very career driven and has allowed that to force him into singlehood all these years.
The connection between all of these characters together and in all the pairings was absolute fire. I loved them all with each other and I loved them all with one of the group. Their previous connections made me salivate for them to be together.
I absolutely loved all of the Cleo universe characters that showed up in this book!
Thank you to the author for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Lacey is the ultimate professional when it comes to running her bed and breakfast. Except for those two one-night stands with guests. But she doesn't think about those too often. That is, until those men reserve rooms over Christmas. It seems that August and Wells have a history of their own, and they are both still interested in Lacey. Perhaps this Christmas will be much more exciting than any of them expected.
What spicy Christmas fun! I ate up this novella faster than a Christmas cookie. The snowed-in vibes were immaculate, and the spice was sizzling. Revisiting some characters from Cleo's other novels was a fun surprise. The book has a lot of spice, but it also contains adorable moments that show how well this trio works together. This is the perfect spicy book to get you in the Christmas mood, and it is easily read in one sitting.

I LOVED this new book from Cleo White!! Going into not knowing much about the story.....I love that you get pulled back to the same small town where we met some of our favourite Dassy Issues Series MCs.
We meet Bram Vogel's brother August, who is back in town visiting to meet his new baby niece.
We also have our broody bookstore owner Wells Davis. He lives in town and finds himself out of luck with a broken furnace until the Christmas holidays are over.
Lastly we have our Chestnut Inn owner/manager Lacey Lovette. She is the most professional hospitality worker....until she's not!!
This book has a good storyline, intense emotions, and lots of spice. The ending will have you wanting more, and hopefully Cleo will give us what we want!!
SURPRISE! When this dropped in to my inbox I downloaded it within a few minutes. Why wouldn't I? Another Christmas Novella, crossovers from characters in the Daddy Issues series, MMF, an MMC who looks like a lumberjack - BUT OWNS A BOOK STORE, another MMC who is a DOCTOR, and a brilliant FMC giving off blonde Lorelai Gilmore vibes? I couldn't have jumped in to it faster. As a Southern Hemisphere girly, I also love reading about wintery Christmases - even if I am sitting in the summer sun while doing it.
Sweet, quick, spicy and just all things perfectly Cleo. Loved it.
This was so much fun! It left me just wanting more more more of them ! The fact that August is a VOGEL?! Okay, that had me GASPING! It was so much fun to see Sophie and Bram again too and this was just so cozy, warm, and steamy! A perfect, quick read for the holidays!
This was one of those books that worked as a perfect palette cleanser. Didn't take too much brain power to read and it’s short, sweet & spicy.
Lacey runs a small town B&B and she has one rule: Don't sleep with the guests. A rule she has broken twice in her career. Well as Christmas fate would have it, those two she slipped up with are back at the B&B, all by themselves and it sends her hormones into a frenzy. Especially once she realizes that THEY have a past together.
I loved that not only was this an MMF romance (yes, the boyfriends are boyfriends too!), but each set within the group had a second chance romance aspect to it as well. The second chance romance aspect worked really well as it set up an existing foundation for these three individuals, thus allowing Cleo to focus on the deeper emotions of the individuals instead of setting the groundwork in the present. I loved the backgrounds of everyone in this group, but especially Wells and August who had such a complicated history that I loved seeing their chemistry bloom again.
I loved seeing the side characters we did from other Cleo books like her Daddy Issues Series and her book In Pieces.
Lastly, I loved how cozy this holiday book was. Instead of trying to cram in a bunch of wintertime festivities, the bulk of the book was the three of them just spending time together. From cuddling and watching movies to gifting each other orgasms, it really was an introvert’s dream holiday 😊
Thank you to Cleo White for the opportunity to read this book. The thoughts and opinions expressed above are honest and my own.

Ranking: 4.5⭐
This book was a completely unexpected Christmas read, and I enjoyed it so much! All three characters stole my heart in their own way, the story was funny, entertaining, and very interesting, and Cleo White gave me the perfect dose of drama, love, adorable moments, tenderness, and spice!
Lacey was beautiful! I loved reading about her passion for her work at the B&B, for her family's legacy, and how funny it was to read her talking about how professional she is, except for those two times with those two different clients. I also fell in love with her personality, especially those moments when she can be a little clumsy, but always charming.
Wells was my favorite character! A grumpy man, a bookstore owner who struggles to keep his heart out of everyone's way so he doesn't get hurt, something that broke my heart to read, especially when Cleo White gave me that little glimpse into his family situation. Something I really enjoyed reading about was his controlling and possessive personality when he's with Lacey & August.
August also charmed me with his sweet and flirtatious personality, especially when he's trying to make up for lost time with Wells. I also really liked that the author showed his relationship with his family (which made me want to read more of her books) and that he's the one who sets everything in motion between Wells & Lacey.

CLEO!? Always the queen of M/F, age gap romances now brings us…. MMF. My mind is absolutely blown. This novella was incredible, she can do no wrong!! We get not one, but two older MMc’s. Sign me up!
Triple Tidings is a festive, flirty delight that blends holiday charm with sizzling tension. At The Chestnut Bed and Breakfast, Lacey is determined to uphold the golden rule, never sleep with the guests (again, haha!) but temptation arrives in the form of Wells and August. It’s a whirlwind of cozy holiday vibes, laugh-out-loud banter, and a why choose romance that’s equal parts sweet and scandalous.
The spark between Lacey, Wells, and August is undeniable. Each pairing offers something unique; Lacey’s playful defiance with Wells, her tender vulnerability with August, and the magnetic pull when all three collide. Their dynamic is layered, messy, and deliciously forbidden, making every interaction hum with anticipation. Especially loved the dynamic between Wells and August, holy cow was that hot!!
I’m not sure I’ll stop thinking about this holiday romance that mixes humor, heart, and heat; it’s the perfect seasonal escape. It’s cozy, chaotic, and brimming with loads of spice! I’m still in shock. I didn’t know how badly I needed a MMF Cleo White novella, but gee am I happy I got it! The perfect Christmas gift.
A huge thank you to Cleo & her team for the early copy! I need more MMF from her ASAP!!
Triple Tiding is a charming and heartwarming holiday romance that delivers all the cozy feels of a small-town Christmas story with just the right amount of steam and swoons. From snowy streets to festive family moments, this book is the perfect winter escape.
I loved how Cleo White blends seasonal magic with genuine emotional depth. The characters feel real and lovable, each navigating their own conflicts and growth in ways that kept me invested from beginning to end. The chemistry between the leads is warm and sizzling in all the best ways, and the banter had me grinning more than once.
What stands out most is how much heart is packed into this story. It’s not just about falling in love—it’s about healing, second chances, and finding joy in unexpected places. The holiday backdrop is beautifully atmospheric, making this one a must-read for fans of festive romances.
Highlights: ✨ Festive, cozy setting perfect for the holiday season ❤️ Slow-burn romance with great chemistry 🎄 Themes of family, healing, and second chances 🔥 Just the right amount of spice
Whether you’re curled up on the couch with hot cocoa or looking for your next Christmas romance obsession, Triple Tiding is a delightful journey that left me smiling and feeling warm inside.
My oh my what a spicy sexy steamy surprise when I opened my email to this little Novella by Cleo White. WOW.. if you love MMF, age gap, 2nd chance, forced proximity, and reverse harem this is for you.
This little novella had so much heat and steam all wrapped up perfectly with the three characters in this book. Lacey the B/B owner, who for the holidays stayed as she had only 2 guests registered to stay at her inn. She gave all her staff the Christmas holiday off. She was anxious for her guests as she has met them before and well let's just say she really met them one-night, different times in her life.
You have August who is the Dr. has come home to visit his brother and family for the holidays, and also was hoping to see Lacey, he has never forgotten her, his life just wasn't feasible to have a relationship. When these two see each other, you can feel the tension and the heat. Then here wonders in Wells, he actually lives in the town, he owns a bookstore, his is a rougher older looking guy, who also has never forgotten Lacey, even though they live in the same town, haven't met up since that one night. Well, when they see each other again, yes the tensioner and heat is still there. However, Wells and August see each other and the heat just exploded.
"Even if this is a holiday fling to her. I want Lacey to be thinking about it, about me, and about wells, for a long goddamn time,"
Oh, my we have a triangle, and they have an offer she might not refuse. She can get her candy x 2. We will see who she chooses or who they choose??
Cleo White sure knows how to create sexy, steamy scenes, and her words just flow and the plot engages. Yes there is a plot!! LOL
ARC Review 📖 Triple Tidings A Why Choose Holiday Romance Written by Cleo White @authorcleowhite
Suprise! Available Now!
The way I put everything I was reading on hold to read this book. Thank you to Cleo for delivering an unexpected and perfect surprise holiday Novella!
I was so excited to learn who the characters were and I was not disappointed. This is a perfect holiday read and I devoured it because I was hooked on the idea of the light plot and heavy in the spice department. It is exactly what the doctor has ordered for this holiday season.
You won't want to miss this one run, don't walk and read this book!
Spicy and well written Christmas novella. Lacey runs her family's Bed and Breakfast and during an unexpectedly slow Christmas time, there are only two guests booked. Both of whom, she had a one night stand with. August is a doctor from California that is originally from the area and Wells is a local bookstore owner. Imagine Lacey's surprise when she discovers the men not only know each other but we're together a decade ago. All three still have electric chemistry between them and decide to share, leading to an amazing Christmas break. What will happen when August heads back to California?
Omg absolutely loved this and enjoyed seeing some of the characters from the other book. 🤭 They were adorable and I loved seeing the little family they formed.
The tension between the characters was chefs kiss, expected nothing less from Cleo. Definitely recommend reading Chile’s and thrilled first but not a need if you don’t care about being spoiled. This book also put me in the Christmas spirt because I think the FMC is on to something with the Christmas wish. 😂 also a cute ending, reading the bonus epilogue immediately. 🤭
3.5 stars from me but I’m feeling generous and rounded up! Less than 150 pages of delicious, Christmas spice!
Lacey, August and Wells have all have seperate history and surprise surprise.. they’re spending Christmas weekend together. Things get hot and heavy and lucky Lacey, honestly. I would have loved for a little more of August + Wells, considering they also had a physical history but beggars can’t be choosers!
All round, a classic Cleo White novella. Easily bingeable, dreamy setting and loveable characters!
This was such a fun and spicy little why-choose holiday novella! Lacey owns and runs a B&B and, during the course of her career, has slept with two guests. These two guests just so happen to be the only ones staying over Christmas, and it turns out they also have a past creating a recipe for a spicy lil holiday time!
This one ended up having a surprising amount of depth, and by the end I wanted to be curled up watching movies right along with Lacey, Wells, and August and the sweet little family they created.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of emotional connection that I had toward the characters and the characters had with each other. Lacey, Wells and August were honestly kind of goals by the end. They knew they had an attraction with one another and they treated each other as equals for the entire book which was nice. (August was my favorite.) The spice was spicy and the Christmas vibes were not too overwhelming which I appreciated. Definitely deserves a read if you don't mind a MMF romance, it is honestly really cute.
