This one is a nail biter!

Eva Rae's newborn granddaughter is kidnapped shortly after her birth from the hospital nursery. With time flying by and her desperation to find the baby growing the information she has points to an inmate, and Eva will go undercover in the maximum-security prison where her only lead is incarcerated. But hat is just the beginning of her search for the granddaughter she has never met, and all the clues point to Las Vegas. Worse is that her past has come back to haunt her when she discovers the identity of the man pulling the strings and willing to do anything for revenge.

I could go on and on about this character, and while all of Ms. Rose's characters are all beautifully written and complex, Eva Rae Thomas is, by far, a favorite of mine. She is smart, strong willed, and resilient. As a career FBI agent Eva Rae has rules she must follow, but she is also willing to bend those rules when she believes it is necessary. Although, I just have to say that in this book she, I'm pretty sure, absolutely mangled the rules of law enforcement that she is supposed to follow. This book kept me on the edge of my seat with its many unexpected and shocking twists and turns in the plot. I recommend this thrilling, nail biting, and action-packed read to any fan of an utterly riveting mystery.

Another fantastic edge of your seat thrilling Eva Rae Thomas FBI mystery only this one is very close to home. The 20th book in a phenomenal series that keeps you turning pages and holding your breath. Eva Rae's granddaughter is stolen from the hospital right after she was born. Eva Rae becomes the grandma bear and holds back nothing to find her granddaughter including going under cover in a max prison after a lead. She pulls out all stops, not exactly following the rules. Why was her granddaughter kidnapped? Is this revenge? Who wants to destroy Eva and her family? Eva Rae will stop at nothing to get her granddaughter. This is a page turning, action paced read that hooks you from the very beginning and doesn't let you go until the end. I not only highly recommend this book but I highly recommend the entire series. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Talk about high suspense- edge of the seat until the very last page!! I absolutely LOVED this one!!! It takes place in two different timelines. Both plots were just as good as the other (which isn't always the case). I was completely invested in both of them. Buckle up everyone....get ready to see Eva Rae in full on mama bear (Granny bear) mode, and she will take no prisoners. Full scorched earth mode activated, and I was here for it 😉. There are plenty of twists and turns, action, drama galore, and of course mystery. I honestly couldn't put this down until I finished the last chapter. I read the entire book in one glorious sitting. So grab your favorite drink of choice, and dive into this brilliant read.

Unfortunately, this Eva Rae book is not one of my favorites. I’ve read most of the Eva Rae books, but this one was just too implausible, had too many inconstancies, and too much extra verbiage. The storylines pulled you in and you know the two timelines would intersect at some point. The author does a good job of building tension and the reader keeps turning the pages.

But, I just couldn’t put my need for realistic situations aside for the sake of the story. I found myself questioning so many of Eva Rae’s actions as to whether that’s how a real FBI agent would conduct herself. And, I feel this distracted from the story.

I found this latest book the plot grabbed me from the first pages and quickly turning the pages to find out the ending.
She is a grandmother and the baby was taken by a nurse, she was calm and determined.
Eva Rae was also determine to go any links to get her back, even Highly ewen if she lost her job,
I love Eva Rae Series, I they are so very real. Highly recommend this book, as well as the others.

WOW..just love this book..Love that its in dual timelines. This is book 20 and I've read everyone of them and this is by far my favorite book in this series. Eva Rae will do anything to find her grandaughter at all costs!
Recommend highly...especially if you enjoy twists and turns!

A white knuckled thriller in a race for survival

This book very much lived up to the thriller name whilst Eva Rae fought against nearly life ending injuries to endure until help arrived. It was so thrilling that near the end I got a notification from my smart watch that my body energy was going down too fast and to take a break and I was only sitting and reading. A brilliant book. ⭐️🌟

I've been enjoying Eva Rae books for years. This one may be the best one. Eva Rae's granddaughter has been stolen from the hospital only hours after birth. It's easy to figure out who took her, but finding the baby entails Eva Rae going to jail. Her life is in danger nearly every moment of this book.

It's an exciting adventure and the reader's blood doesn't stop pumping until the last chapter or two of the book. Great read!

Wow talk about action, it was absolutely non-stop. This was definitely the best book in this series although they’re all pretty great. Dynamic characters make this book stand out as well as a great storyline. Who wouldn’t become engaged with a story of a grandmothers fiercely protective spirit and willingness to do anything to save her grandchild?
