And he freaking showed her. I loved how down bad Massimo was, the way he yearned so hard for Liana. They’re so perfect for each other. I loved the storyline and I can’t wait to read more about the Bonetti family.

Massimo by T.Priceton was a great book to kick off this new series! This was my first read by the author and it will not be my last! This story follows the slow burning love story of Massimo Bonetti and Liana DiMaggio. Massimo Bonetti is everything that I hoped he would be in this mafia romance: tall, dark, handsome, possessive, obsessed, very loyal and he has a little bit of humor to him. He’s not all Mr. Tough mafia guy who is brooding and serious all the time. He meets Liana for the first time in college at a masquerade ball and falls in love and falls hard for the woman behind the silver mask. He has no idea who she is and she has no idea who he is, all he knows is that she is it for him. The masks fall and Liana finds out who is really behind the Phantom of the Opera mask and she flees. She wants nothing to do with Massimo or the mafia life, she wants nothing to do with a made man. However Massimo is a patient man and he knows what he wants and what he wants is Liana and he’ll stop at nothing to have her. Fast forward six years…
Liana DiMaggio, a successful fashion designer who owns her own shop, has such drive and would do anything for her friends and family, she would give the shirt off her back. She has spent the last six years since college building her career and making a name for herself. She hasn’t really had time for dating as any dates she’s gone on has ended horribly and she can’t seem to understand why. She somewhat gives up on love and decides that she is going to focus on her career and pour all her time and energy into it. However we know that life doesn’t always work the way that we want and she finds herself faced with needing help solving a problem for a close friend and of course Massimo proposes a deal: marriage in exchange for help. Massimo needs a wife to take over the family business and Liana needs help and as far as Massimo is concerned she is it, his end game and he will do whatever it takes to make Liana his.
In the beginning I was not a fan of Liana, I felt like she was very stubborn and acted somewhat like a brat when it came to Massimo. She had her mind made up that Massimo was nothing but a playboy and that she wants noting to do with any man from his world. Slowly she lets her guard down and realizes how sweet Massimo is and how he has a softer side for her. When those walls come down, it’s everything! The push and pull between the two of them was slow but well worth the wait. LOVED the side characters in this book, Massimo’s brothers were hilarious and I cannot wait to see where this series goes and I cannot wait to see them again. The twist for a jaw dropper, something that I did not see coming. Massimo has it all: mafia romance, spice, banter, humor, swooning, tension and so much more. Massimo due to release Friday, February 27th and it needs to be at the top of your TBR list, I promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you to T.Priceton for the opportunity to read this eARC. This book had me hooked from page one. The tension was unreal. The chemistry was dangerous. The obsession was intense in the best dark romance way.

This story pulled me in from the very first page! From their initial meeting to the present day, the tension was undeniably hot. I loved how the narrative stayed centrally focused on the two of them before bringing in external plot influences.
Liana is incredibly stubborn and determined to keep the promises she made to herself; understanding the "why" behind her walls gave such great depth to her psyche.
Massimo is the definition of determined. He is willing to get Liana by hook or by crook, yet he never minces his words or lies about his feelings. He constantly warns her that they are inevitable, and while he doesn't have much patience, his sheer devotion wins out. When he finally breaks through, it is so sweet - he supports her, protects her, and loves her with an "aggro" intensity that you just can't deny.
I really enjoyed how the plot thickened once the setting moved to Sicily. I truly didn't see those twists coming! The suspense had me on the edge of my seat and holding my breath. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from T. Priceton.

Holy Hotness!!!! T Priceton has done it yet again. This is a fantastic new series and she started off with a bang. I was totally not expecting the twist at the end. She wrecked my world in the best way. I literally cannot get enough of her stories and always want more. She has a way of creating mafia alpha men that you cannot help but love and adore. The women are always top notch as well. They are not frail or weak minded and the men always love the fire and sass. Massimo was chefs kiss. I mean he was so down bad for Liliana. One moment with her was all it took to be completely and utterly obsessed with her. He is so patient and loving towards her. He knew what he wanted the moment he had one kiss from her and he made sure that he got her no matter what she said. Her heart knew it was always him, he just had to get her to quit listening to her mind. Liliana is a strong willed woman. She is a business woman who is running her fashion empire. She is not about to let anyone derail her plans. She does not want to end up in a marriage like her family. She wants to escape the world altogether but that is not always how life works. Fate has a funny way of bringing what you need when you least expect it and not in the way you think it should. I loved the push and pull between the characters. The banter was also top notch. If you love a good mafia series then this is the one for you. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

So if you haven’t read that series I suggest you do that before jumping in to this one. I’ve loved Lianna from the start and I love her independence and fierceness in this one. She’s a boss babe, a business woman that won’t hold back and she is fearless when it comes to the ones she loves and cares for. She loves hard and she would do anything to make sure they are happy and well taken care of. I love the banter, the sarcasm and the humor especially with Gio & Giu.
The story flows really well and easy and then you hit me with that twist and turn and I was like what’s this. You had me crying my eyes out. Made me fall in love even more with Massimo and I loved how he and his brothers showed this strong loyalty, love and care for each other. I loved this story but girl you got me anxious cause I’m pretty sure this is only the beginning of a lot more stuff to come.

It's a thoroughly successful storyline with all the usual elements: a forced marriage, emotions, suspense, twists and turns, and of course smut.
I read the book in one sitting and highly recommend it.
My only minor criticisms, which are really nitpicking, are that Liana didn't want to forgive Massimo for blackmailing her into marriage, but after one orgasm, everything was forgotten and forgiven. I don't like it when strong, independent businesswomen are betrayed by their bodies. Overall, Liana seems childish to me, even though she's supposed to be tough. And I find it unrealistic that Massimo didn't have sex for six years because of one kiss with Liana. Also, Massimo is almost too soft for my taste.
But as I said, the entire book is definitely worth reading and highly recommended.

You get a strong FMC and the ultimate golden retriever, cinnamon roll MMC (we love a soft hero). This is technically a mafia romance, but it’s much lighter on the violence and heavier on the romance, which I personally really enjoyed
From beginning to end, I was hooked. There’s a small moment where you think, okay, I see where this is going… and then BAM. Absolutely not. The twists and turns? Dang. I did not expect that direction at all.
Such a beautiful, satisfying read — and now I need the next book immediately.

I loved all the side characters and Massimo's brothers.
The plot twist has me on the edge of the seat... No spoilers from me.
I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I love an obsessed MMC, and Massimo is everything in that category. He forces Liana to marry him taking advantage of her kind heart because he is completely in love with her even though she doesn’t feel the same.
Liana is an independent successful fashion designer. She keeps heart locked away not wanting to feel the loss of people she loves anymore. Massimo break through it and shows her just how amazing their love could be.
It took a major twist and turn later towards the end of the book and I was not expecting that! I love the push and pull between the 2 characters. Massimo was cute and playful towards Liana but was able to stand strong when he had do. Liana was stubborn but completely fell for Massimo when she saw that there really were no red flags. Cute mafia romance!

It’s refreshing to see a Mafia Don who is soft, loving, attentive and obsessed with this wife from the start. The fact that there was never a moment where I questioned whether or not Massimo truly loved Liana was a nice change.
He’s pretty much the gold standard for men, especially mafia men! He took such amazing care of Liana and gave her the space she needed to grow into their relationship.
Liana is a strong woman who had walls up, and for very good reasons. She needed someone who would push her, but also be gentle with her.
I loved the Bonetti siblings, I can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of them!
In terms of Mafia plot, this was light. It felt Mafia adjacent.

I am so excited and grateful to have been chosen for an ARC, this is the best gift I got for my birthday on 22.02.
The story exceeded my expectations. The chemistry between the main characters is simply cosmic. The resolution and mystery itself was simply over the top. Maybe I was expecting a little more mafia stuff but I am still in love with the book. I read and reread everything by the author, I really like his style. And I even feel who the next book will be about, but I will leave the surprise for you.

T has done it again! Her mafia romances are some of my favorites! Every character I love more than the last and every plot just keeps getting better and better!
Massimo is obsessive and protective as hell about his girl. One night was all he needed to know she was it for him. And he had no problems waiting for her to come around. Liana is a badass business woman. She’s got her fashion design career and couldn’t care less about love. She will, however, do whatever it takes to ensure her loved ones are taken care of - including marrying Massimo.
There’s banter, longing, and heat! I can’t wait to see how this story continues to unfold in the next book!
