I have been wanting Liana story for the longest time. Ever since I read Matteo, I wanted Liana to get her own ,she just has that way of pulling you in & wanting to know what happens for her .
Massimo, that man so damn delicious the possessiveness has me melting 😍. When he knows what he wants, he doesn't let go. Yes, im in love with that man .
When he said this omg im such a mafia lover, and this is exactly why.

When he met his mystery woman at an masked university party the pull he felt with her then for both to realize who eachother are she wasnt as thrilled as he was , Liana never wanted be mobster wife or any part of that .
Massimo has been obsessed for 6 years now, and no woman matters but her. From the beginning, I was so damn hooked the chemistry even when they had only masks on you could just feel the fire between them.
Massimo is going to be done as his father is retiring but requested he have a wife and we already know who he wants 😉.
I will always love the bond between izzy and Liana both love fashion and always down for each other no matter what .
😂😂 gio and gui had me cracking up about Liana dating history “Damn, can you imagine you’re about to get laid, and then you just fucking shit yourself? In front of your date. I’d fucking die of mortification,” Gio laughs out.
Poor Alessia her father is determined use her boyfriend pretty much ruin his future his career thanks to his own father gambling issues.
His methods of getting what he wants wasnt the best but he had do whatever it took so he could have Liana. The way he knew so much about her everything about her amazed him even more the way he talks about her had me weak.
Teo and Enzo weren't buying this marriage of Liana they knew how she felt about men in their world, but of course, her girls knew and stayed supportive 100% . Yet it still sweet how much Enzo and Teo care about their cousin, who is more like a sister to them .
T.Priceton never disappoints when she writes these men im falling hard for massimo that man cooked for her .

March 26, 2026I added this book ever since I saw the tropes but unfortunately for me, expectations vs reality were very different.

Okay, I won’t lie, this wasn’t my favourite read from T. Princeton, and that genuinely makes me a little sad to say, because I absolutely fell in love with her writing from her first release, Matteo. But even when one book doesn’t quite hit the same level for me personally, T’s writing itself never falters.
Her storytelling remains strong and engaging, and she continues to write some of the most devoted, yearning MMCs. The fierce MFC energy we’ve come to expect is still very much there. I also loved seeing familiar faces from previous books.
However, for me, some parts felt slightly lighter in tone than I had expected, particularly during the heavier mafia moments. At times the dynamic read younger than I anticipated for men in their twenties navigating that world, which pulled me out of the seriousness of the situation. I found myself wanting a little more weight or gravity in those scenes, though that may simply come down to my own expectations going in.
I also had mixed feelings about Liana and Massimo. I will always admire a strong heroine who pushes back, and that is something T consistently does well, but at times Liana’s resistance felt slightly disproportionate to the situation. I completely understood that she never wanted anything to do with the mafia world and longed for a simple life. Still, because Massimo was so clear and unwavering about his feelings, her being so closed off purely because of who he was felt a little frustrating for me as a reader.
That said, I truly admired Liana’s independence, strength and loyalty. She is sassy, stubborn, and the kind of friend anyone would be lucky to have.
And Mr Bonetti? The man we all want as a husband. Tall, possessive, patient to a fault, fiercely loyal, and with a very sinful mouth. He is not your typical mafia man. He communicates. He tells Liana exactly what he wants and what she could have if she would just give them a chance. His loyalty and emotional openness really set him apart, and his unwavering feelings were genuinely sweet.
While this one was not my personal favourite, I still enjoyed the journey and continue to appreciate what T consistently brings to her stories: resilient heroines who stand their ground and heroes who love deeply and fiercely. That dynamic is something she does so well, and it is why I will keep coming back.

And if this is just Book One, Ialready know this series is going to ruin me in the best way possible 🙈

This story pulled me in from the very first page! From their initial meeting to the present day, the tension was undeniably hot. I loved how the narrative stayed centrally focused on the two of them before bringing in external plot influences.
Liana is incredibly stubborn and determined to keep the promises she made to herself; understanding the "why" behind her walls gave such great depth to her psyche.
Massimo is the definition of determined. He is willing to get Liana by hook or by crook, yet he never minces his words or lies about his feelings. He constantly warns her that they are inevitable, and while he doesn't have much patience, his sheer devotion wins out. When he finally breaks through, it is so sweet - he supports her, protects her, and loves her with an "aggro" intensity that you just can't deny.
I really enjoyed how the plot thickened once the setting moved to Sicily. I truly didn't see those twists coming! The suspense had me on the edge of my seat and holding my breath. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from T. Priceton.

If there’s one thing I love it’s a mafia romance with forced marriage and forced proximity. 😏 I’ve been waiting for Liana and Massimo’s book since getting little crumbs from the DiMaggio Crime Family series and their story delivered. Liana is such a strong relatable character who is independent and refuses to be tied down to a mafia man. But to Massimo, Liana has always been his and he makes everything fall into place so she has no choice but to marry him.
This man is so down bad for Liana, we’re talking completely obsessed and he’ll do anything to make her remember and see how good they are together. The flirty banter, the tension, and Liana fighting Massimo at every turn was so much fun to read. Was Massimo arrogant and smug? Yes. Was it still charming and hot as hell? Again, yes! I loved them so much, I didn’t want it end. And getting to read scenes with characters you already know and love was so perfect. I can’t wait for more of this family and to continue this series. 🖤

Another 5⭐️ read for T. Priceton! She never misses when it comes to writing amazing mafia books. All of the characters were likable (obviously not the bad ones lol). I loved how she wrote Liana to be a strong FMC who has her own life. And i love that she wrote about Massimo not wanting to take that from her. The characters had amazing chemistry and their relationship just flowed. I was def not expecting the last 20ish% to be what it was lol Def twist and turns but i was super intrigued! Beyond excited for the next book!

The tension and push and pull between them was slow burn but it was definitely worth tb wait until the tension exploded
I loved all the side characters and Massimo's brothers.

This is book 1 of The Bonetti Crime Family series by T. Priceton
It is everything I expected and I love how the characters from The DiMaggio Crime Family series are incorporated.
I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll just say this is a mafia love story with the right amount of heat and spice and the ending will have you biting fingernails and tug at your heart strings! Can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen as this has ended on a bit of a cliffy!

This is the fourth book I’ve read by this author, and I believe it’s a spin-off from the first series I read. This story follows Liana, who is Matteo’s cousin (Matteo was the male lead in the first book). The book focuses on Massimo and Liana.
We actually met Massimo previously in Isabella’s book. He’s from another Italian crime family, and the only real interaction we saw before was when he went on a date with Isabella. In this book we get his full story.
Liana is a wedding dress designer. She’s talented, successful, independent, and very focused on her work. She’s not really interested in relationships and has never had a serious boyfriend. Massimo, on the other hand, initially comes across as a bit of a playboy. He’s always bringing different women and models into her shop, which gives Liana a pretty poor opinion of him.
The prologue shows us that six years earlier they met at a masquerade party. They had an intense moment and ended up kissing, but when he revealed who he was, Liana pulled away immediately. Because of her past and what happened to her parents, she wants nothing to do with the mafia world or crime families.
In the present timeline, Massimo’s father is ready to hand over leadership of the family, but there’s a condition: Massimo needs to be married first. His father gives him an ultimatum — either find a wife himself or choose from a list of “acceptable” women. Massimo doesn’t hesitate. He already knows who he wants: Liana.
He ends up creating a situation where she agrees to a marriage of convenience. One of the women who works for Liana gets into serious trouble with another mob family, and Massimo offers to solve the problem if Liana marries him. After some back and forth, she agrees.
What starts as a contractual marriage actually develops pretty quickly. There’s some spice, some emotional opening up, and their dynamic becomes quite sweet. At one point Liana gets scared of how strongly she’s starting to feel and takes a business trip to Italy partly to put distance between them. Of course, Massimo being completely obsessed with her follows her there.
Italy is where the big twist of the story happens.
While they’re there, they run into Massimo’s parents and another Don from a different crime family. It turns out that this Don is married to Liana’s mother — the mother she believed died years ago.
The explanation is that her mother survived the plane crash but lost her memory. Her husband died in the crash, and when she woke up she had no recollection of her previous life. The man who found her essentially built a new life around her, convincing her she was someone else named Victoria.
From there the story becomes more action-heavy. Massimo, Liana, and his brothers work together to help her mother escape that situation. It also comes out that Massimo’s parents knew the truth about Liana’s mother and kept it hidden, which leads to Massimo and his brothers cutting ties with them. In the end, the Don is killed and they leave Italy.
One thing that’s important to mention for the setup of the next book is the situation with Chiara. Chiara is the daughter of Ignazio, the Don who had been married to Victoria. Victoria is actually Liana’s mother, but after the plane crash she lost her memory and Ignazio never told her the truth about who she really was.
After Ignazio is killed, Chiara is left in a vulnerable position and ends up being pushed into an arranged marriage with a cruel man. This clearly sets up the next book in the series, and I’m guessing the story will revolve around Chiara and one of Massimo’s brothers.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was a quick and easy read and quite cute at times. One thing I really liked was that Massimo isn’t actually the playboy he first appears to be. Since meeting Liana six years ago, he hasn’t kissed or slept with anyone else. The women he brought into her shop weren’t hookups — they were models he wanted to introduce to her dresses so her business could grow. He’d basically been quietly supporting her career the whole time.
Compared to some of the other books in the series, I did find myself getting a bit bored in parts. But I really like that the story still has the mafia elements without the male lead being a complete jerk. Massimo was obsessed with her in a way that was actually quite sweet rather than toxic.

I received this book as an ARC and am just now finishing it.
I have read other books by the author & liked them. This one left a lot to be desired. The first 60% of the book was just him trying & her resisting. Over a promise she madento herself when she was a kid.
The book could've explained why, but I skimmed a LOT of it. (and it still took two weeks to finish)
Once they finally do the deed, the book picks up a little, but then jumps the shark. The whole end plot line *it legit took almost 80% of the book to get to this part* was very far-fetched.
Its marketed as a mafia book, but my this is like Disney Channel Mafia
It would be two stars, but the spice was decent. .

Where do I even start with this review... I guess by saying this book when I was able to had me sat, between the spice, the way he lusts after her. With how he knew when he seen her that she would be his within a certain amount of time. The plot twist was soo unexpected and I was left wondering what is going to happen next. Massimo was completely different then what I expected and I love how Liana stood her ground on how she felt about her business and how she made sure to make known she wouldnt be giving it up.

I loved Liana’s character from the DiMaggio Crime Series and adored Massimo in Isabella so I was so excited when they had their own book! I appreciated that this story felt totally different from the last mafia series with new characters, locations and tropes. Liana’s character is very relatable and I love her growth throughout the story as she comes to accept her feelings for Massimo and her past catches up to her. I am very excited for the next book in the series!

He is down bad for Liana after just one encounter and he will not accept anyone as his wife except her. Massimo is the definition of down bad for the FMC and I love an obsessed man.

This one is really really good. Hate to love trope. He fell first, hard! There are some really good spicy scenes halfway thru and then the chaos begins. But it’s low key chaos. Like something’s been hiding for several years. All I’m saying is I picked up on what our author was putting down early on when his parents were being weird AFTER he said he was marrying Liana. Very good!

This book was amazing. I loved every moment of this book. The banter is so good. Love the dynamic between the two. And the plot twist, OMG!!! Can’t wait for the rest of The Bonetti Crime Family. If you haven’t yet, I recommend reading The Dimaggio Crime family series first. (Not necessarily but recommended).

Massimo by T. Priceton is a stunning start to The Bonetti Crime Family series. After meeting Massimo and Liana as secondary characters in The Dimaggio Crime Family books, I had high expectations, and this lived up to all of them.
The story follows a classic forced marriage setup but with deep emotional stakes. Liana DiMaggio has spent years building her career as a fashion designer to distance herself from her family's violent past. Massimo Massimo Massimo!! One of the best MMCs I've ever read! I loved the dynamics between the two of them. Liana was so sassy to him and he ate it up! I just loved everything about this book! I can't wait to find out what happens next!!

Liana is a spitfire and Massimo is freakin swoonworthy!! Ahh!! I love everything T. Priceton writes!! Her men are the definition of "I'll burn the world for her!" Massimo did not, for even one second, fall short of that! He knows he wants Liana and he will do ANYTHING to get her! Liana wants no part of a made man, but has a heart of gold and does what she needs to take care of those she cares deeply about. I love the chemistry between Liana and Massi! Absolute fire!! This story was fast paced, emotional, and I did not see that twist coming!! Can't wait for our next Bonetti book!!

This was such a great enemies to lovers story. The storyline was awesome. Loved the twists and turns. I really enjoyed the bit of chaos, and the sauce was perfect.i can’t wait to read more of this author as this is my first time reading them. Just an amazing story.

If you’re looking for a spicy, slow burn mafia romance with a strong FMC and a MMC who yearns, you need to add this to your TBR! It’s a major slow burn (which I love) and it’s SO worth the wait. At first, it’s all about the chase but there are some MAJOR plot twists toward the end that I was NOT ready for. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a good romance/mafia romance!
