Jacqueline has had a colourful and dual life thus far; she's lived in a refugee camp in Sweden, a castle in France, a village in Germany, and spent her formative years in between Los Angeles, London and New York. As a result, she speaks four languages. In 4th grade she won her school's poetry contest and she has not stopped writing since. She has written in many forms ranging from poetry to screenwriting, from prose to copywriting, and on one occasion a viral jingle.

Jacqueline has a Bachelors in English Literature from the University Of Massachusetts, and a Masters in Screenwriting from Royal Holloway, University Of London. After graduating she wrote her first novel and began writing (and selling) cartoon screenplays. The two years she spent in an arts boarding school in the woods have inspired the particular world described in debut novel Wunderkids. She lives in London with her husband, her excessive YA collection and a hyper husky named Laika.

Really enjoyed this book, I loved all the settings and seeing the characters in each of them, always love a dual PoV and seeing people gradually gravitate towards each other but there was also so many added layers to the romance with reflections on social media, environmental issues and protest, and complicated family dynamics. Highly recommend particularly if you love travelling/wish you could do more, as well as a good romance story.

Review of advance copy received from Netgalley

Thanks to NetGalley and Simon and Schuster Children's UK for the advanced copy of this title in return for an honest review.

I have a copy of Jacqueline's book The Last Wish List but haven't read it yet so I was going into this blind.

It sounded fun but I was a little apprehensive. Maybe it's because I'm an old lady (where social media is concerned) and I don't really understand the "influencer culture", the type who earn thousands from one post and who strangers will by anything and everything they post about. I'm not saying it's wrong, just that it's not a world I know much about, so wondered if I'd feel any connection to this story. But I did. And given that this is aimed at young adults, I think they will really love that side of it.

It follows Margot and Theo in alternating chapters. I like it when books are written like that. It gives each protagonist their own focus but it helps blend both stories.

I feel the enemies-to-lovers trope is a bit overdone and it isn't always my favourite. And at first I was a little dubious about it, but I think Jacqueline has got it just right. It's cliché and corny but in the best way. It's a young adult book so it can't be overly explicit but she's been clever with it and the romance feels believable. Even though I wasn't sure about it at first, I ending up wanting more because the romance doesn't come in until quite late and I ended up really liking it so I wanted more of it.

I read a lot of kids books and YA books and I think more adults should read books aimed at younger readers. I have read some fabulous ones over the years and this was very good. It didn't quite hit the emotional depth my 33-year-old self wanted but it feels very real. It's fun, light, quick and easy to read, familiar characters, subtle but fun romance, strong messages, and it's glamorous. It's got everything you might want from a book, and you will definitely lose yourself in it on a warm summer's evening.

We also get to travel the world alongside these characters which was fun.

I enjoyed it from the start but it definitely got better as it went along and by halfway through I was hooked and couldn't put it down.

Jacqueline Silvester delivers sizzling tension as two influencers are forced to work together even though he's the son of the billionaire who destroyed her family and their farm.

After winning a brand deal with an exclusive luxury hotel chain, Margot and Theo are sent from Bali to Hong Kong, Kyoto, India, Greece, The Austrian Alps, and Las Vegas to help promote the chain. The incredible locations, the romantic activities that are lined up - it should be the trip of a lifetime.

But as Theo's father goes on trial for the damage he's done and the protests that got her father jailed and are threatening to do the same to Margot's beloved cousin come to a boiling point at home, Theo and Margot butt heads and struggle to stay civil as they attempt to work together.

The internet does help either with the constant updates and videos from home and the comments on their own content that are split between the shippers and the haters.

I really enjoyed watching Theo try to grapple with what doing the right thing looks like and his fatalistic view of his father's power. His relationship with his father is complex, difficult, and heartbreaking especially as it contrasts with his care and concern for his mother. Margot's own complex relationship with her father the man he was before Theo's dad ruined their town and their livelihoods and the man he became and how her little corner of social media is the only thing keeping the family afloat.

The tension between the two crackles and fizzes as they slowly come together, fighting it and each other even when everyone else can see they're in deep.

With a pertinent commentary on the benefits and dangers of social media, the need to remember to just be present sometimes, and environmental issues this is a witty RomCom with substance.

Reading this book made me want to be everywhere they were! The location descriptions in this book alone will make you want to read it! But as well as that, this is such a modern and relatable story that it has become another top summer read!

Margot and Theo, very different yet somewhat the same, are forced together as a result of their online influencer roles to create content to promote a new chain of hotels. Six destinations, the most amazing experiences and all shared with a person you despise. Can it be done?

On their own, I found Margot and Theo to be very likeable. Together, I sometimes felt sorry for Theo but totally understood why Margot feels the way she does. Theo's billionaire father has affected Margot's family - and their home town - in one of the worst ways, but there's also not much love lost between Theo and his dad anyway. But, despite all this, do you go against family?

I really enjoyed this, a perfect summer read, the descriptions of all the places they have to promote make you feel like you're right there and leave you wanting to go there!

The start of each new place sets out the hotel and what it offers, with a really nice theme to what the hotel chain are aiming to provide and I enjoyed matching this to my impressions of those countries. These also give Margot and Theo their inspiration. The idea of influencers is so current and you see what it means to different people. I also love that you are reminded of the importance of being in the moment.

The exploration of the family history is insightful and emotional, making the characters even more likeable.

This is a firm summer favourite and if you can't get to it now, add it to your TBR to warm you through the cooler months!

📚 BOOK TOUR REVIEW 📚

🌍 Everywhere But Here
✍🏻 Jacqueline Silvester
⭐️ 3.5/5

Okay, this was such a cute summer read! ✈️

Margot is an influencer, Theo is a wannabe wildlife photographer who also happens to be the son of a billionaire, and the two of them end up travelling around the world together after landing the same brand deal.

Naturally, they can't stand each other at first. 😂

I really loved the whole travelling aspect of this book. Going from country to country made it feel like a little holiday without actually having to leave my sofa, and the different settings were probably my favourite part.

Margot and Theo were fun together and I enjoyed watching their opinions of each other slowly change as they got past what they *thought* they knew about one another. I also liked the whole social media side of the story and the reminder that what we see online isn't necessarily the reality of someone's life.

For me it was a 3.5⭐ read. It was cute, easy to fly through and had some lovely moments, but I wanted just a little bit more from the romance to really get me obsessed with them. Still, if you're after something light, summery and full of travelling, forced proximity and enemies-to-lovers vibes, this is definitely one to add to your summer TBR. ☀️

Thank you so much to @jacquelinesilvester and @instagrambooktours for sending me an ARC and having me along for the tour! 💕

Everywhere but Here should definitely be on your summer reading list. It's a fun romance perfect for reading by the pool or just with your legs up in the backgarden [ exactly what I did ].

Margot & Theo our main characters really couldn't be more different & they're dead set on not liking each other, Margot especially.
Margot is fiercely independent & highly passionate about her community & fighting for causes. She built her platform in order to help support her mum & the families struggling inn.
Theo is using his platform to escape being in the shadow of his billionaire father who is causing a ruckus back home. All he wants is to persue his photography.

What I loved was the forced proximity, enemies to lovers vibe as they were sent on a trip together. Slowly but surely they both came to realise that not everything is as it seems & there was so much more to each other than they both thought. This is where the dual POV really worked well giving us insight into each of their thoughts & feelings.

If you haven't been on holiday this year you'll feel like you have after this book with the trip of a lifetime. The different locations really made me feel like I was on holiday with them. Absolutely gorgeous descriptions.

A story that delivers true escapism whilst a budding romance takes place.

Thank you to InstaBookTours for a digital copy of the book.

This was exactly the kind of feel good summer escape I needed. It whisked me away to beautiful destinations without me having to leave my sofa (or unpack a suitcase!).

Margot and Theo couldn’t have made a worse first impression. She’s a social media influencer who’s constantly judged for her online persona, while he’s the billionaire’s son trying to escape the “nepo baby” label. Forced to travel together on a luxury brand campaign, their constant bickering had me smiling from the very beginning.

What I loved most was how the story reminded us that social media only shows a tiny glimpse of who someone really is. Watching both characters slowly peel back each other’s layers made their enemies-to-lovers romance feel natural, sweet, and completely believable. Loved it all the way!

The travel descriptions were absolutely gorgeous. Every destination felt vibrant and immersive, and I loved hopping from bustling markets to snowy mountains alongside the characters. It genuinely felt like taking a holiday through the pages.

If you’re looking for a light, swoony romance packed with forced proximity, dual POVs, slow burn chemistry, LOL banter, and enough wanderlust to make you browse flights afterwards, this is one to add to your summer TBR.

I loved this book! Jackie has done it again.

I love a dual pov, and this was fast paced whilst also layering in emotion and intrigue, not to mention a great way to explore the world of living on social media and how it affects those that do.

Margot and Thea are influencers who get to travel the world on a brand deal. Jackie has done a beautiful job of exploring the locations they visit and making you feel like you are there. With the kind of attention to detail and a delight for all your senses that you just know Jackie has poured her soul into this book. (Also check our her IG if you want to see some of these places from when she visited).

I was rooting for Margot and Theo and thought the way their family history and dynamics was portrayed and played out was sensitively done.

This isn't just a romance book, it's a trip around the world, getting to explore gorgeous locations that will no doubt be added to your "must travel to" list.

Everywhere But Here was a quick, fast-paced read that I really enjoyed. Margot and Theo were fun characters, and I liked watching their relationship develop as they traveled around the world together. The different locations definitely added to the story and made it feel like a fun escape. The first part wasn’t my favorite, though. Margot and Theo spend a lot of time not really connecting, and I found myself wanting more of their interaction and chemistry sooner. Once they started letting their guards down and actually getting to know each other, I enjoyed the story much more. Overall, a fun, easy summer read with great travel vibes and a romance that eventually pulled me in.

I devoured this!!🤩

Everywhere But Here shares a fresh perspective on social media, the effects of being in the public eye and the behind the scenes of influencing.

I loved following Margot and Theo as they got to know each other, attempting to move past their preconceived perceptions. This book truly sizzled with tension and was laced with hilarious moments.

I enjoyed how the characters travelled around the globe experiencing new cultures, all whilst trying to navigate a complicated situation back in their home province. This book also felt very current, exploring politics and scandal.

I adore Jacqueline’s writing and I cannot wait to see what she writes next!! 🥰

🩷 Blurb-
Margot is That Girl – she's built her online audience from scratch and though her life looks perfect on screen, her influencing supports her family’s dying B&B.
Theo is seen as a nepo baby – but photography is his ticket to escaping his billionaire father’s control, and the damage he has done to the local community – including Margot’s family.
When they are both chosen to represent a luxury hotel chain on a global tour, they instantly clash. But as they travel together – from the markets of Hong Kong to the Austrian slopes – they realise that their online personas might be just that.
Who is the real person behind the screen? And what would happen if they switch off and just lived in the moment?

The story in 3 emojis: ✈️📱🌎

Highlights from the book:
•Social Media Influencers
•Luxurious Destinations
•Dual POV

ℝ𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everywhere But Here is such a fun YA romance, with the most amazing destinations around the world, some of my favourite romance tropes, and told from social media influencers Margot and Theo’s perspectives.

I really enjoyed the enemies-to-lovers dynamic between them, mixed with forced proximity, and especially watching them slowly realise that there is so much more to each other than what we see behind the social media profiles (and their families).

Hong Kong is very high on my future travel list, so I was making notes of everywhere they visited!

*A great summer read for young adults!*

Imagine having to travel the world with your enemy—that's exactly what happens to Margot and Theo when they win an influencer competition to explore a series of luxury hotels while creating social media content along the way.

Jacqueline does a wonderful job of bringing each destination to life. The settings are so vividly described that I found myself wanting to visit every place Margot and Theo explored.

The story also has a focus around their small French village, where Theo's father is on trial over the actions of the water company he owns and the impact it has had on the local community. This creates plenty of tension between Margot and Theo before their journey even begins. However, as they spend more time together, their chemistry grows naturally, and it is enjoyable to watch them gradually let their guards down and see each other in a different light.

Alongside the romance, the book also explores the realities of social media, highlighting both the positive opportunities it can create and the negative effects it can have.

Overall, this is an engaging, feel-good YA romance with beautiful travel settings, relatable characters, and an important message about social media. It's the perfect book to escape with over the summer.

I want to start my review by saying thank you to the team at Insta Book Tours having me on this book tour 🫶🏼.

I was honestly so excited to read this one and pleased to say that it lived up to all my expectations! I really like how Silvester painted each setting so clearly and it felt like the perfect summer read!

I really liked Margot as a character & it made me lovely the narrative even more! The nod to social media influencing and the impact it can have was really refreshing and, in a way, made it feel even more summery! 🌞
