At first, I was a little confused about how the main character was transported into this new gaming world, but that explanation comes together later and ultimately makes sense within the story’s logic.

I am not a gamer myself, but I still appreciated how important stats, levels, and quests are to the structure of this world. Having nieces and nephews who game helped me understand the relevance, and Mark Tant does a great job weaving game mechanics into the narrative without letting them overwhelm the story. The balance between stats and plot makes this accessible even for non-gamers.

The characters are well written and thoughtfully matched with the weapons they wield. The protagonist is a true gentleman with a good soul, easy to root for as he leads these quests. There is also an evil villain in disguise that genuinely caught me off guard, which added an enjoyable layer of intrigue.

I did not expect any spice, but there is a subtle hint of it near the end that fits naturally and does not detract from the overall tone. This is a well-rounded story with action, character growth, and a strong sense of destiny.

I am very much looking forward to the next book to see how the characters level up and continue working toward saving the world he was fated for.

Spice: Very light

Omni: Lord of Fate is a book you dont wanna skip. This fantasy book is the kind of book that grabs your attention by the collar and keeps you in the fantasy world. Omni was thrown into a world he did not know existed, he decided that no matter what life throws at him he is going to earn it. When you start the first chapter, his quest has already begun.

The leveling system and stat mechanics are so good and satisfying especially seeing Omni unlock all the abilities as he venture of the world of unknown. What I loved about this book is the found- family dynamic as they are not just companions but they bring life to the story; the banter is so fun! If you are into anime, this would be like Isekai- so it was so easy for me to follow through and I loved every bit of it! The adventures, the quests and character build reminds you of D&D!
Then worldbuilding is rich and ominous- monsters roaming, ancient dragons and other enemies that lurk from the shadows- there is a sense that constantly makes you feel like fate is watching and waiting.

Perfect for readers who love:
• ⚔️ LitRPG & progression fantasy
• 🐉 Dragons, monsters, and epic battles
• 🖤 Found family & slow-burn romance
• 🎲 Fate, prophecy, and morally complex choices

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Omni Lord of Fate by Mark Tant

If you love anime humor, this is a book rec I think you would really appreciate.

This book genuinely made me laugh out loud. I have never audibly laughed so much while reading a book before and it’s purely because it is written like an anime. The only thing missing is the exaggerated bloody nose scenes lol.

There isn’t really any spice here. It’s more flirtatious than anything, and while I personally would have loved it to be spicier, that’s just my preference and not a flaw in the story at all. The story itself is really good and does exactly what it’s meant to do.

The hero has a lot of charisma and is surrounded by warrior maidens. He’s fated to have four brides and together they fight through a series of levels where he unlocks special skills, powers, and weapons. They fight as a party and grow together, which gives it strong anime and RPG vibes.

What really made this such an enjoyable read was the wit, banter, and overall charisma of the characters. It’s fun, lighthearted, and ridiculously entertaining in the best way.

If you enjoy anime style storytelling, progression fantasy, and books that don’t take themselves too seriously, this one is absolutely worth picking up.

If you’re into anime or gaming then you should definitely check out this book!

The book starts with our MMC (Omni) awakening in another world with abilities and stats, like you’d see in DnD games. Without revealing everything from this book, Omni begins doing quests and partners up with multiple FMC’s to level up and figure out his class in this world. There’s a villainess in this story who’s madly obsessed with Omni and has plans of her own for him.

One bed ✔️
Why choose ✔️
Minimal spice (still should be 18+) ✔️
Anime type humor ✔️
Action ✔️

Throughout the book you get to see Omni’s stats and how much he levels up after each quest. This book would be wonderful to give to your beloved anime lover, gamer, or someone who enjoys going to comi-cons!

Omni: Lord of Fate is a FANTASTIC read! Mark Tant makes the fantasy world of Eldoria come to life! Action, excitement, playful and risqué all in one. Written with such detail that the book engulfs you to the point you feel as though you’re living every page; to an ending that leaves your heart racing with excitement and anticipation and wanting more!
