Three months... Three. Months. I have to wait until part 3. I'm not going to lie, I'm going to be chomping at the bit for it.

Whilst Part One was setting up the world, creating the plot, and setting up our characters, Part Two has progressed the story in a beautiful way. Jessica Winters, again, has perfectly straddled the line of serious themes with hilarious characters and witty banter that puts the reader at ease.

*There are trigger warnings for this Dark Omegaverse, so please be careful before reading and as always make sure to check, in case there is something you may not be able to handle*

The first 40%, my damn heart was in my throat, the middle of the book, I was incredibly happy to have a little reprieve and get to see the Pack finally find their footing together and work out their dynamics and grow together, last 20-30%, edge of my friggin' seat.
This was dark rom-com, nail biting, thrilling, funny, and most importantly, I was buzzing with anticipation. I could not put my Kindle down.

I am downright feral to see how the rest of this Story goes, to see the twists, the turns, to see Jo finally get her pack and maybe have the life she never dreamed of being her reality. And, of course, to see the justice of those who have inflicted this universe with so much pain.

One Flew Over the Omega's Nest Part 2 is High Stakes, intense, and Jo is a certified Badass with all that southern charm... darlin'.

Oh i love these characters so much!!!!!!!

Yet again losing my mind that I now have to wait more time for the next part!!

I love that the book started with Declans POV, i love him and need his pack to have their own books!!

Obsessed with all the MMCs just going feral for a violent Jo😂
I love their love for her🥹
They all just fit together so well and i can’t wait for them to get their happy ending!

Thank you Jessica for the ARC!
I need the third part ASAP!!!

I have been waiting for part 2 since I finished part 1 last year lol

The prologue had my jaw on the floor! We pick up right after the cliffhanger in the first book.

I love Jo she is crazy and I love her for that 🤣 she is not one to really let people bring her down. After her childhood she always tries to be strong!

The way her scent matches are soooo bad down for her 🥵 I do live unhinged MCs hahah

It was so badass how they worked out their plans and just how cool everyone is. The pack is getting to know each other better in this book. They are working out their dynamics.

We end off on another cliffhanger and I need part 3!!!!

Happy Tuesday, homies!

Thank you so much to Jessica Winters for a copy of this book!

I am so glad that part two came out as quickly as it did, and even more excited that the final installment is right around the corner. This series has been such a pleasant surprise, especially given that it leans darker than this author’s usual work. I genuinely hope this isn’t the last time we see this author explore this genre, because she clearly excels at it.

Quick warning: this review does contain spoilers for book one, so proceed with caution. With that out of the way—onto the review. I absolutely adore Jo and her alphas. While this is technically an insta-love story, it works exceptionally well with this series. The emotional connection feels natural rather than rushed, and each relationship is given enough attention that nothing feels shallow or underdeveloped. In an omegaverse setting, where things can sometimes move very quickly, this balance is hard to achieve—but it’s done beautifully here.

Omegaverse is often known as a hot-and-heavy genre, and while there are steamy moments, this book strikes a near-perfect balance. The intimacy enhances the story rather than overshadowing it. This is one of the rare omegaverse series where the plot and world-building take priority, and the smut exists to deepen character bonds instead of replacing meaningful storytelling.

Jessica Winters’ writing deserves special praise. Her prose is smooth, immersive, and emotionally engaging without being overly complicated. She has a real talent for pulling readers into a scene. The dialogue flows naturally, the character voices are distinct, and the pacing keeps you turning pages even when the story takes darker turns. She has truly found her niche with this genre, and it shows.

And speaking of darker turns, this book does not pull its punches. The story takes a sharp turn for the worse, and everything begins to unravel in ways that are both heartbreaking and compelling. We gain a much deeper understanding of the world, the power structures within it, and just how far the corruption runs. The stakes feel higher, the danger feels more real, and the emotional weight hits harder because of the groundwork laid in book one.

At the same time, this installment provides closure to certain threads while deliberately throwing others wide open. New questions arise, alliances shift, and there’s a particular character whose storyline absolutely stole my attention. I am desperately hoping she gets her own spin-off novella or full book, because there is so much potential there that I’m not ready to let go of.

Overall, this second installment strengthens the series in every way. It’s darker, deeper, and more emotionally complex, while still delivering everything fans of the genre are looking for.

“The Destroyer of Alphas. A fitting choice for you, brother.” My jaw drops, and I hop in my seat as I point at the phone. “See? See? I told you! I told you that’s what they call me!”

⤷I did not put this book down once I got it, just as I did with the previous one! Jessica Winters really has a way of pulling you into the story that keeps you on from putting it down and keeps you on the edge of your seat! She did a perfect job on the first chapters to help with jumping back into the story without rereading the first book.
⤷The first book really introduced the characters and the world-building that gets you hooked! This one, we get action, secrets being revealed, betrayal, a deeper dive into who is orchestrating everything, hide-and-seek from their enemies, and even more character and relationship developments!
⤷ I can’t wait for the last book release in April, and I hope we get some spin-offs of some of the side characters, especially Declan & Mabel!
⤷ If you love books that have the right amount of humour, mystery, action, romance, spice, plot and relatable characters that pull at your emotions in so many ways, this is perfect for you!

They thought locking her away would make her powerless.
They thought wrong.

This book doesn’t just raise the stakes it lights the match, smiles sweetly, and tosses it straight into the Cathedral. From the very first line, the tension is suffocating, feral, and deliciously inevitable. Jo Harding isn’t trapped. She’s coiled. And everyone inside those walls should be afraid.

Watching Jo fight for her mind, her body, and her future is intoxicating in the most unhinged way. She’s sharper, angrier, and more determined than ever, and the Cathedral feels less like a place of containment and more like a pressure cooker begging to explode. Every attempt to break her only reinforces one brutal truth: Jo survives. Jo adapts. Jo burns things down.

And then there’s the found family chaos because what happens when a Mafia boss brother, fellow patient Alphas, an Alpha orderly, and a Beta psychologist decide they’re done playing by the rules? Absolute carnage. The alliances are messy, dangerous, and charged with tension that hums beneath every interaction. Trust is fragile. Desire is reckless. And loyalty? That’s carved in blood.

The atmosphere is dark, claustrophobic, and soaked in dread. You can feel the walls closing in, feel the cruelty pressing at Jo from every direction, and yet her defiance never dims. If anything, it becomes sharper. Meaner. More lethal. The way this story balances psychological horror, razor-sharp humor, and simmering obsession is nothing short of addictive.

And that fury? That Omega rage? Exquisite.

This is not a gentle story. It’s brutal, seductive, and unapologetically vicious. Jo Harding isn’t just surviving anymore she’s fighting back with teeth bared and matches in hand.

Five stars for chaos. Five stars for vengeance.
And five stars because once again, I am emotionally wrecked, feral for the next installment, and fully prepared to watch the Cathedral burn.

One Flew Over The Omega’s Nest Part 2 -
Jessica Winters
5/5✨🌟

* SPOILERS *

I have been waiting for the second installment of this interconnected omegaverse series and man, what a ride this was. I was here for every action, emotional roller coaster, an oh boy, the spice was so hot more than I could imagine. Jessica just knows how to suck us in when it comes to her amazing writing. Filled with detail and so much excitement, I devoured this book.

The way that the book starts was probably one of the best prologues I’ve ever read. Just from reading it from a certain someone’s point of view, I was immediately hooked.

The way that we get to see her pack, her strong as hell brother, and even the cute and adorable pregnant beta come back in this series is something you don’t want to miss. The crazy mission to rescue Jo keeps you on your toes because when you think everything is fine and dandy, that’s when you just want to throw your kindle across the room.

Also, I was here for all the cheesy lines. I definitely laughed a lot more in this book than part one because with this unhinged pack, you know things are going to happen.

And the ending has me on my toes because I love the next mission. Don’t mess with family because this pack definitely is not playing around.

I just really love the whole plot of this story because honestly, I’ve never seen anything like it. From the many rescue missions, I loved how they planned each one. If you love a book filled with action, an unhinged pack, plenty of mystery and suspense, this series is for you.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

“Meep meep, motherf#cker.”

I am feral for this book series!
This was a rollercoaster of emotions! The book picks back up with the pack and their mission and then puts the pedal to the floor! There is action, suspense, emotionally charged scenes and everything in between! I went from laughing and kicking my feet to holding my breath! Jessica knows how to keep the audience hooked!

I thought the pacing with the plot was done really well. We finally get to see some pack life with all of them together. The chemistry and banter is chefs kiss! The spicy scenes had me panting😉🥵! {Then his hand cradles my neck in my favorite necklace} same Jo, same!

I love how sassy and stabby Jo- Destroyer of Alphas is!

“Please. Don’t assume you have a ticket to my v#gina just because I want you to sleep in my bed.”-Jo
I was cackling!!

West: “I’m falling in love with you, Siren.” “
Jo: Meet you at the bottom?”

There was also some sweet, emotional moments especially between Hayden and Jo. 🫶🏻

The cliffhanger just left me wanting more! I cannot wait for the final installment of this series!

I don’t think I’ve ever smashed a 5 star rating button so fast! This is book two of the trilogy and I can’t decide if I’m more mad I don’t have book 3 yet or more absolutely thrilled that there is one more full book left for me to read.

I just love this pack so much. I love how they are all building these bonds and the camaraderie between the guys is hilarious and cute.

I’m even falling in love with Declan’s pack and I am praying to the gods of omegaverse that there are other books in this world and that includes a book for Declan’s pack and their omega.

While this book is dark and has quite a few twists it’s also funny and sweet. And it’s funny and spicy but with a good plot! What more could you ask for?

I already know this is a series I’ll recommend everywhere and that will be a comfort read - I’ll read it over and over. I can’t wait for book three because as soon as I finish I’m going to read the complete series again from the beginning.

⭐️ - 5 stars - Honestly it hits all the marks for an omegaverse, packs, scent matches, knotting, impending heats and lots of talk about designations. It’s got a twisty and dark plot, witty banter, humorous moments but smart interesting ways our heroes get out of a jam. And yeah it’s got spice that is well dispersed and compliment the plot.

🌶️ - 3 peppers - There are multiple on page, open door scenes. Scenes aren’t over long or repetitive either. Nothing too wild has happened yet, but I’m guessing things are about to get a bit more wild.

Honest review (confused, judging, and still turning the pages)

Let me start by saying this: I still don’t know if I loved this book or if it just successfully gaslit me into having a good time. And honestly? Respect.
First of all, bless this author for not ending on a cliffhanger. The next book comes out in April and I refuse to emotionally suffer until then. We still have our stubby Jo—small, fierce, and apparently indestructible—and the rest of the pack is now fully committed to the whole “yes, we live, fight, and emotionally spiral together” lifestyle. No new bonding though. Which, excuse me?? The DELUSION. I showed up ready and the book said, “No ❤️”.
Now let’s talk about the plot, because this thing is running on pure caffeine. Every five chapters something goes wrong. Attack. Fight. Chaos. Trauma. Repeat. Do these people ever sleep? Eat? Have a calm conversation? Absolutely not. They cannot catch a break and neither can the reader. It’s not my favorite kind of plot, but at some point I stopped questioning it and just accepted the violence schedule.
Spice? Same or maybe even less than book one. Present, polite, and not here to cause trouble. Which is fine… I guess… even if I did clear my schedule for it.
Did it blow my mind? No.
Did it stress me out? Yes.
Did I enjoy the ride anyway? Also yes.
This book didn’t change my life, but it did keep me entertained, slightly unhinged, and weirdly loyal. And will I read the third and final book? Absolutely. I’ve come too far to pretend I’m not invested now.

Good Lord did I inhale this book! The only time I put it down, was literally to take care of my children, who unfortunately are too young to fend for themselves.

This is the second in a trilogy about a slightly unhinged omega named Jo, who is trying to find her sister after she was sold to a pack by their father. Joe winds up at the same asylum for the criminally insane and uncovers a much larger plot to take away the alpha/omega dynamics. Basically this cult wants to make everyone like regular humans or like betas.

In a story we pick right back up where we left off with our girl in the cathedral and her mates and her half brother’s pack to rescue her. This book hits the ground running. We are catapult straight into the action of planning Jo’s break out. Well, we do spend a lot of time with our pack on the run. There is not a single moment that doesn’t lack action and or spice. And boy let me tell you the spice is spicing. But I will say that it is well done. It doesn’t ever feel like it’s just slotted in because the author wanted to take up word counts or was injecting spice just for the sake of spice.

Well, I am a little salty of the second cliffhanger, knowing that this is a trilogy I definitely should’ve expected it. I will absolutely be reading the others. I cannot wait to read more about Mabel and Declan. The side characters are almost as interesting as our main.

This is a brand new release. I would recommend picking it up if you enjoy the omega verse but definitely start with one. This is a trilogy so you’ll be totally lost if you don’t do that.

I am Omega, destroyer of Alphas.
So Jo's the best. I would assist with and commit many crimes to make her happy, because I love this character so freaking much.
Part two is the perfect continuation from part one. The action is deliciously frantic, and the tension has been ratcheted up to 100%. It's really all gas, minimal brakes. The whole story is delightfully engaging and I simply did not put the book down, even once.
I am crazy for this pack. Maybe not crazy enough to be admitted, but that's debatable.
Hayden is absolutely hilarious, even while he's being haunted by his trauma. I genuinely laughed out loud so many times. I really like how he and Jo start toe to toe with insanity, but even he is surprised (and turned on by) her level of crazy.
Kole is precious to the rest of the pack, and someone who strikes fear into the heart of the rest of the world, and I love that.
I'm so glad Sam is starting to sort himself out; I'm really looking forward to him finally giving himself fully to Jo.
West continues to be the voice of reason in the pack, but also mad about Jo. He's got a good heart.
This series seriously has some of the best supporting characters. It's great when they're involved. Turnip is the clear favorite, but I have affection for them all.
I am so looking forward to part three. Part two ends on the perfect note to keep the momentum going, and I can't wait to see where the story goes.

“You may be able to handle yourself, but you don’t have to be by yourself.”

Overall 4.5/5 stars

Mmmmm so fun and delicious! Part 2 of this trilogy brings us off our first cliffhanger and right straight through to some exhilarating action! I love the tone of this series so much because it is really fun and flirty while being off the wall bonkers at the same time. There is so much action and danger, but there is a weirdly fun lightness to it. Am I making any sense right now?!

The men in this are really great because we have some very distinct personas and relationships with Jo at different stages. I definitely have my favorites of the group, but together they are really a lot of fun. I love Jo’s attitude and I cannot wait for more of her!

And I’m telling you now, there are some side characters I am falling in love with who had BETTER get their own stories and HEAs too!! 😂

I wish Sam and West were a little more different from each other, for some reason I still have to reference back to remember which is which. I also felt some of the calmer moments in the book felt a bit TOO slow.

if you think things are going to calm down during this book, it in fact, does not. things pick up right where Part One ended and Jo and her men continuously are running and fighting someone this entire book.

however with everything going on, Jo and her men continue to develop their relationships and their pack relationships.

a lot more is revealed about Jo’s sister who she has been looking for and the reason she’s in the asylum. along with what is really going on in the asylum and how things all connect.

you don’t leave off on a bad cliffhanger which is def less painful than Part One’s cliffhanger. this book def falls into what usually happens with the middle book in a 3 book series where it’s a lot of information and more plot building for everything to come together in the final book. and the final part, Part Three of the series, is slated to come out in April.

I have to say, I’m really enjoying this unhinged side of Jessica Winters! I loved how the story picks up immediately after the cliffhanger and throws us straight into action without wasting any time.
I loved Jo even more in this second book — we see her become even stronger, more resilient, sharp and fully unhinged as she survives and fights back against the doctors who tried to break her, while also revealing a more vulnerable side.
Kole, Hayden, Sam, and West continue to grow becoming more protective, possessive, and emotionally involved. We start to see the playful moments, but also the deeper and more intimate dynamics that truly make them feel like a real pack.
What I appreciated most was watching their group dynamic grow stronger and more cohesive as the story progresses. Even with a fast-paced plot full of action, escapes, and twists, the relationships continue to deepen and intensify in a way that feels natural and earned.
I also really enjoyed finally meeting Jo’s brother, Declan, his introduction adds a lot to the story and it’s clear he’s going to play an important role moving forward. And of course, we can’t forget Turnip: still chaotic, always one step ahead, and endlessly entertaining.
This book kept me completely hooked, and now I can’t wait to see how everything comes together in the last book!

Hit it out of the park… loved it.

Plot with my spice is my favorite.

Jo is so BadA, and doesn’t apologize. She knows who she is and is very ok with it. Does she have trauma, of course, but she doesn’t let it define her. She took back the control of it, and I love that.

The guys are giving all of the things you need for a well rounded reverse harem book.
Hayden is the comic relief that you need to break up the absolute trauma. He has his own stuff to work through. He does with jokes; which same.
Kole is the big bad Alpha that will literally ☠️ someone for Jo. When he does speak it’s to mean something.
Sam, or Sammy, he’s the older gotta protect everyone but especially Jo. The very serious one.
West, Doctor Monroe, is the resident beta of the group. The one who grounds everyone.

A well rounded books makes you want to know more about everything including the side characters. I feel you know them and want to know more about them also. Love Declan and his pack, Adela, and of course Mable.

The star of course is Clover. Gotta love Clover.

I have 2 words for this book… beep beep 😉🤣

“Meep Meep Motherf…..” my favourite quote and definitely one I will be keeping to use for myself.

All I can say is…. Holy mother of all that is holy! How did Jessica manage to create a second in a trilogy that was not only as good as the first, but in my opinion… far exceeded it!

Jo and her pack are just as unhinged and lovable, and I have no idea where the time went while I was reading… but I couldn’t put this one down.

Jessica has created an unhinged Omegaverse that is crazy, nail biting, full of suspense…. All while making you laugh at their crazy antics and banter, melt with the love they share, and gasp out loud with each twist and turn! Hayden is still my favourite, and his never ending tormenting of Sam (or Daddy-o) never gets old.

I love the journey and progress Jo has made in this book. She has had to be so strong for everyone around her for so long…. She is finally learning how to be softer and to allow herself to be vulnerable and looked after by those she loves.

This book is the perfect balance of everything you need and there is still another book in the series to look forward to!! I for one cannot wait!

Well, here we go again with the chaos that is Jo Harding inches pursuit of finding her twin sister. If you haven't read part 1, go now! Because you can't miss out on such an awesome and dark omegaverse book with sarcastic humour and an omega girl with murderous tendencies towards alphas! It's a lot of fun, of course! And Jo, she's like the second coming of Lana Myers. And her pack are *chef's kiss* butttt what I've learnt reading Jessica Winters books is that none of her characters are the same. You'd think it'd be hard coming up with 5 or 6 new characters for each book but nooo, she makes it look like it's easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Anywaayy, back to the book... I'm not happy I have to wait like 3 months until the next one! It was emaculate. Jo and her boys are perfection. Hayden needs protecting at all costs, West and Sam are just adorable and Kole is *chef's kiss*. I will always recommend books Jessica's books! And I cannot wait for part 3, I already feel anxiety about how the book will go!

I have been feral for the 2nd book to come out in this series. It is absolutely my favorite one the author has written. I love the type of crazy the fmc is and how BA she is. She can take care of herself and can take anything thrown at her. She endures a lot in this 2nd book and the author wrote it so beautifully in a way to showcase how horrible the things the FMC endures and how strong Jo is.

We get to see how the FMC and MMC interact outside of the asylum in this book and I am here for it. I love that they can all be together and we get to see more about her brother. (side note I need her sisters story stat lol) We finally get to see who is behind the whole Beta movement and we get a few surprises with it. This book ends on a cliffhanger as well (not as bad as the first book in my opinion) but still makes me wish the 3rd was out now because I NEED to know what happens. I am so curious to find out how this story ends and how they take down the bad guys. This is one of my favorite OV reads of the year

First: you must read book 1 first, this is a continuation.

Second: omg!!! I loved every bit of this continuation, and I am DESPERATE for part 3.

Jo is unbelievably strong and fierce and it’s so fun and empowering to read her POV. I just love it. And she’s still surprising me, even after ending up in the cathedral she still manages to be a baddie.

For lovers of OV, fierce FMC, dark themes, and action!

Stop now if you haven’t read book 1

Last chance……

Now that Sam, West, Hayden and Kole have packed up on the run I am loving how unique their approaches are with Jo and how they interact with each other. They are SO DIFFERENT. I did not expect to see Sam making his way to the top of my list above Kole. But I’m really enjoying his reservation and restraint, his lead alpha instincts and even more, I was practically panting when his limits were pushed in the kitchen at the safe house. Also I can’t wait to see more of Declan and the group he’s with …leaving it vague on purpose, major spoilers.

Book two in the series picks up where with left off with Jo and her pack. Book one ended on a cliffhanger, so it was nice to get that resolution. Jo and the guys finally make their escape from the facility and make progress on finding Mabel. But, just when they think they’re safe, they are ambushed (a couple of times) and are on the run.

We do get some revenge on people who definitely deserve it throughout the book, and help comes from unexpected places. I don’t want to say too much so that I don’t spoil anything for those who haven’t read the books yet. We are left, once again, on a cliffhanger and this one was a doozy with an identity reveal right at the end. I’m so curious to see how this plays out, as we discovered a lot of new information but also have a lot of new questions.

Between the Irish mafia, the Russian mafia, and a group of beta supremacists, there is so much going on to set up the final book (which comes out in April). I can’t wait to see how Jo and her pack, and possibly her sister, get their happy endings.

Usually with a second or third book in a series, I need to reread the previous book(s) before starting the new one because my memory is pretty lousy. Not this time. I jumped straight back into the Omega’s Nest world without hesitation. This book drops you right back into the action exactly where we left Jo and her pack, and it doesn’t miss a beat.

I mentioned in my review of the first book that I don’t typically enjoy darker omegaverse stories. Once again, Jessica Winters proved me wrong. Just like book one, this installment completely pulled me in. I demolished this book within 24 hours and am ready for the last book!

Important note: this is book two of a planned three-book series, so reading the first book beforehand is not optional.

Am I waiting impatiently for the third and final book? Yes. Very much yes.

I received this book to review, but all thoughts and comments are my own.

Jessica has smashed it out of the park with the second book in the TwistedVerse series. Jo & her pack are brilliant. I think I love this book more than the first, as seeing them all on the outside of the institution really lets the characters come into their own. Jo, Hayden & Kole are as unhinged as each other which makes for a very entertaining read! Sam & West are the more sane of the pack, but they’re just as gone for their omega as Hayden & Kole. I cannot wait to see how Sam is with Jo when the threat is finally over & he allows himself to be with her. The banter between Sam & Hayden is first class & the pack dynamics are really starting to settle - despite the turbulence of the storyline. This is an action packed omegaverse with secret plots & plenty of banter which had me giggling most of the way through! Being the second book in a series, this didn’t disappoint at all. Can’t wait for Part 3!

If you thought the tension in Book 1 was high, hold on to your seat. The second installment of this dark asylum Omegaverse series is full of psychological suspense, high-stakes plotting, and the “us against the world” found-family trope—with a delicious, gritty edge.

The heart of this book is Jo. Seeing her journey from the fractured state we met her in to the woman she is becoming is incredibly rewarding. In this sequel, the focus shifts from the initial shock of the asylum to the deep, complex strengthening of her bonds. The chemistry isn’t just “instinct-driven”—it’s earned. Each of her men brings a different dynamic to the pack, and watching them learn to protect her (and each other) while navigating their own trauma is what makes this a 5-star read.

This isn’t just a romance; it’s a high-stakes thriller. The investigation into who is truly pulling the strings reaches a fever pitch. The pack and their allies are no longer just surviving; they are hunting.

So much has happened. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat.

The more I read, the more I love Jo. She can be so sweet one second and so brutal the other.

Instead of on big climax at the end, the story went from one small climax to the next and the big reveal at the end felt a bit flat to me because of that. The tension couldn't really built. But the story still had a firm grip on me.

And considering that they are on the run the whole time, the plot and their actions made sense and there were no plotholes. The style of writing was also amazing as always.

There were moments were I couldn't tell Sam and West apart, which surprised me since I didn't have that problem in the first book. I'm curious to see how it will be in the next book. The others were their usual, unique selves which I loved.

I was so relieved the ending wasn't as nerve-wrecking as the one of book 1. I'm so relieved, but I'm still waiting impatiently for the next book.

Getting ready for the final part...
So much is happening in this book; it was such an exciting read! I don't even know what to write because I don't want to give anything away. We do find out where Turnip (the rat came from). Jo's big brother Declan sent her in to keep an eye on Jo. Jo is missing and her guys are looking for her. Jo and Hayden are bonded, and they know they need to keep it a secret. Sam and West have told Jo they are "in" on a pack with her. Only konw they need to find out where she is, they need to find Mabel, which has been Jo's mission from Day 1, and they need to escape. Only what they find is that the secrets of the asylum go much deeper than the underground lab. There is a political plot in play to get rid of designations, and the person at the top is unknown to anyone. Great plot, a bit of heat, and our characters are just falling more head over heels for each other.

I picked this book up on a Saturday morning and didn't move again until it was over. The first book introduces us to Jo and her pack and sets up all of the action, but this book kicks it into high gear. I wasn't expecting non-stop action the whole way through the book, but this one kept you going. I also really enjoyed that the development was more believable, it wasn't the kind of story line where you got tired of the shenanigans and wanted everything two wrap up so you could move onto the next part. I'm not one who usually enjoys a series that continues into several books that are focused on the same characters, I usually like my books tied up in a neat bow by the end. However, Jessica's character development and the slower build of some of the relationships in the series have kept me engaged and clamoring for the next book. This book is a little less spicy that the previous one, but the fast paced plot didn't leave me feeling like I was missing it. Bring on Book 3!

Oh my goodness, I was so thrilled to be back in this world! I missed these characters so much and after that brutal cliffhanger, I was ready to devour this book, and devour I did!

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions! It had me hooked from the very first page. Just when you think you’ve figured things out, or something was resolved, BAM! While there are dark themes, there is the perfect amount of humor to break it up. And when we get the spice? Shew, it is SPICING!

Jessica’s storytelling is so engaging that you’ll be on the edge of your seat, guessing what’s going to happen next, it’ll definitely keep you hooked! I do hope she continues to write more books like this.

Overall, fantastic read. The characters development is great, the storyline flows so well and will keep you engaged. You’ll be shocked one moment and then laughing the next.
I can’t wait for the final installment!

Finally! The anxiety that I’ve felt knowing that Jo has been in the Cathedral for months has been plaguing me day in and day out so, when I got my hands on this I started reading and didn’t stop until it was finished. The book starts where part one finishes so there’s no worries there but at this point I was not sure who was most worried between Jo, her guys and me for my favourite characters (Kole obvs with Turnip as a close second). We find out more about all characters including Jos mysterious brother and even an old friend comes back (no spoilers here so you’ll have to read it to find out!).
I really love this series, the characters hold my attention and the story is gripping with a fun side to it. Jo is a force to be reckoned with and I love that she is an omega with bite and still has all those softer tendencies but refuses to be downtrodden. If you love fun with a side of crazy and a lot of affection, then this series is definitely for you! Pick the book up and read it!
