This had very minimal stalking, but I still LOVED it!!! The hero rescues the heroine as she’s fleeing from her abusive father and his plans to marry her off to an old man. The hero swoops in and proposes a way to protect her.

I love, love, LOVE a protective and obsessed hero and this had that! This was a romance quickie, but there was lots of heart melty feelz to bring the swoon! And the spice was delicious!!

Safe. Hero’s past is mentioned briefly, his former gf cheated on him and he hasn’t been with anyone since. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero, gives him the primal gift of claiming all her firsts for himself. No ow/om, no cheating or sharing. Possible trigger: heroine abused by father physically and on page violence and death. HEA with an extended epilogue available thru sign up

Part of the You’ll Be Mine series each can be read as a standalone with an overprotective sexy and the one who captures his undivided attention. Lucas sexy as all get out Deputy goal is to protect all that live in his small town in Montana, he knows almost everyone in the town they watch out for one another, and until a traffic stop of one young woman who looked to be running from something but either way, she was in trouble, but her beauty wouldn’t let him go. So, he does what any deputy would do to ensure her safety and find what has her on the run. Amalie is a sweetheart who hasn’t had the best life despite coming from a privileged background, abused with the scares to prove it, she is a mafia princess who means nothing more to her father than a pawn in his game and is being forced by her father to marry a man old enough to be her grandfather so she ran until she is pulled over by none other than the deputy but the moment he sees her scares he forces her to go to the hospital and then a motel where he hopes she will feel a little more comfortable offers marriage in name only more out of protection but will it keep her out of being forced to marry, will the fake become real between them, can she see herself living in peace in the small town she landed in, and has she found freedom, happiness and peace?

*spoilers* When Luca, who is a cop, pulls Amalie over his life is about to change. Normally he does not mix work and his private life. He senses that there is something bad going on and when he sees her injuries he has a sudden urge to murder the one who did it to her. He talks her into seeking medical care and when she is not allowed to drive for a week because of her sprained wrist, he stalks her in the motel, where she is staying due to him, knowing she is his girl. He would have taken her home, but he figured that she would behave more natural in the motel and the ex military protects the ones in his care. Amalie is a kind of mafia princess and when her father wants to force her in a marriage with someone who could be her grandfather, she fled. Luca’s solution is that she marries him, so she can not be forced to marry anymore. He offers her marriage in name only, but hopes for much more.
Like with other stalking stories, of course, stalking is creepy in real life as can be possesiveness. But this is fiction and done out of love and caring, with respect. I enjoyed it, also Luca immediately knew she was his and did everything to protect her. Their souls just connected and they make each others dreams come true. Also I am excited for the other ones to find their one.

This book is a part of the You’ll Be Mine series and focuses on Lucas and Amalie. Lucas is the local sheriff who happens to have his life flipped on its axis when he pulls Amalie over one night. Amalie is injured and on the run from her father when Lucas pulls her over and as soon as he sets his sights on her, Lucas immediately feels a deep seated need to protect her when he senses she’s in trouble. Lucas is determined to protect Amalie no matter what and does whatever he has to do to keep his woman safe. I love how protective and obsessed Lucas is with Amalie and how she is his top priority. Lucas was exactly what Amalie had needed in her life and he came into her life at the perfect time. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Amalie is on the run, she is desperate and broken. She can’t get far away enough from her abusive family. When Lucas cares for her she feels like she is home.
This short read will keep you in suspense. Such a great story of love and protection and how found family take of each other.

Amalie Vasti and Lucas Lawson have a chance encounter. It's a bit over-the-top, but I really like how Lucas quickly tunes into the fact that she's in trouble and sets about making it right.

I love the conversations and banter that occur once Amalie gains some comfort in their relationship. They are cute, funny, and delightfully teasing, even when she's hopped up on meds. Their made up words are fitting.

FYI, the bonus epilogue is worth reading.

He catches his Little Runaway

But Lucas becomes obsessed, is he Stalker or protector? He needs to protect, possess and cherish but first he has to gain Amalie's trust, a trust that heartbreakingly she has never given before.
I really like Lucas, he constantly tries to do the right thing for Amalie, no matter the pain or frustration to himself. He protects, defends, guards and loves, allowing Amalie to find herself. We see her confidence bloom as she heals, falls in love and possesses him right back.

You need to read this

Holy crap. Loved, loved loved this book. Its hot spicy with a little suspense. So to start Lucas is a Deputy who seems to just live for the job, till he pulls over Amalie.
The blurb of this book is perfect and descriptive enough then when you start reading you try to predict what's going to happen. I really couldn't. The spicy points in this book where on point. The author makes you feel like you in the room with the characters which truly made me not want it to end. ❤🌶🔥

A quick insta-love

This is another quick, enjoyable insta-love that focuses on Lucas, a small town police officer and a woman who needs a hero. (He's not really stalking her!! But he's not letting her go, either.)

The story moves along, and picks up steam as it goes. The chemistry between these two is entertaining and I enjoyed his protection of her.

The drama of her situation is resolved as expected and I was happy with their HEA.

These two are instantly attracted to each other from the moment they meet. Lucas was reading to do everything in his power to protect Amelie. Amelie didn't want to endanger him, but he didn't take no for an answer. Their story is sexy and with suspense. I really liked them together.
