This was the perfect little small town cowboy romance under 100 pages. Cash is a grumpy cowboy with trust issues especially towards our FMC. She’s a reported from the city there to find a story on the ranch but she ended up finding her destiny. This was fast paced, spicy and had a double epilogue.

He tried to resist, but that all slipped away the moment they touched! These two had insta-attraction, which quickly evolved to insta-love, and then, after he messes up and fixes it, an HEA. For as fast as they moved, the emotion was as palpable as their attraction <3

I love a story with a misunderstanding/mess up, but ends with a happy ever after and this one delivers that with steam, chemistry, opposite attracts and small town charm.

She’s there to get a story. He doesn’t want any involvement at all. Kali is assigned to write a story about Rock Creek Ranch. The ranch’s reputation has progressively declined and needs to be restored in order to capitalize on the booming tourism industry. Although Cash wants no part of it, one look at Kali and the attraction begins to flourish. The more he tries to resist, the deeper he is falling. But when he happens to come across Kali’s phone, he falls right back into his close off demeanor. Can the article Kali is writing prove to him that she isn’t there to get the dirt/scandal on him but the truth? Can they start over and build a HEA? This was a short and steamy story bringing two hearts together. They made a cute couple. Highly recommend.

FYI have not read book one of this series. With that said this book was read as standalone for me personally and it did just that. The story was well written that I wish this book was longer. I felt it was too short and I wanted more. With no spoilers the ending was quick but sweet. Not your typical happily ever after but definitely was a sweet forever after. There are some steamy spicy open door scenes and also romantic at the same time. And yes there is a third act brake up but it had to be done in order for the storyline. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series if there may be one in the future.

Cash, a horse trainer who has had his reputation damaged by unfounded stories in the media and Kali, a reporter who has been given the opportunity to write a story about Cash and the families ranch.
Cash doesn’t trust her however passions do flare, lots of steam and dirty talk until it comes to a screaming halt when he sees a text message on her phone. She leaves. Two months later he reads the article and finally accepts Kali is a genuine and honest reporter. No more spoilers, this is a great read with HEA epilogues.

My Cowboy's Hold by Lena Rae is Book 2 in the Rock Creek Ranch Series. It is an ägë-gäp (15 years) insta-lust-to-love, opposite-attracts romance. A horse trainer with trust issues about reporter's intentions & a newly appointed reporter interviewing the ranch. I definitely L❤️VE that Kali kissed Cash first (78% into book). Cash was clueless that it was Kali's first time. 😑 There is a 3rd act breakup that lasts for 2 months. Annoyed with Cash about it, he ignores Kali's attempts to explain her texts. We do have a HEA and two future epilogues.

Kali is a reporter assigned to write an article about Cash's family ranch. After a negative experience with reporters, he refuses to be interviewed by her. But as these things go, they’re drawn to each other, and when sparks fly during a power outage, there’s no holding back anymore. Until Cash sees a text message from one of Kali's colleagues, and his distrust of reporters returns in full force.

I loved their chemistry and I loved the storyline. And it has such a cute ending!

Kallie and Cash. I really enjoyed this story. Just liked I enjoyed the first book with Wyatt and Anna. Cash was the perfect amount of grumpy. Anna was just the sweetest, and I’m with her with burning food. It would of been a 5
Star read, but I really didn’t enjoy Cash not hearing her out. For me personally it was really rough.

She is a reporter who came for a story. He wanted nothing to do with her or her story. Too bad they had an instant attraction that graduated to instalove in no time. These two progress until the big break up that is quickly resolved. This is a very short but sweet love story . It’s a great read.

Cash doesn’t like reporters and when Kali gets to his family’s ranch he is not happy. She takes his breath away but his past won’t let him forget that reporters can be awful. It’s a sweet novella that will suck you in from the beginning. It’s sweet and steamy with a heartwarming HEA.

So good!

I know some people hate the miscommunication trope, but I really liked this book!
Cash and Kali worked to gain one another’s trust, and even when it broke, they couldn’t stop thinking about one another.
HEA!
