This was the final book for me in the red series.

Adelle was trapped in her own personal hell and then she finds hope. Or so she thinks. The lady can’t seem to catch a break and I just wanted to save her. To fight for her. Because it seems no one sees her and that’s what she strives for, to be invisible. She tries. She fails. But in true Tanisha Stewart fashion, the story takes a turn that is unexpected. While reading this I pictured one outcome, hoped for a different outcome and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome given. Everyone had a story. And I love the way it all came together. Kudos!!!

Adele is in an abusive relationship for years. Her boyfriend hates her but doesn't let her go. He controls everything in her life, her friendships, what she eats, her phone logs, her gym subscription... After he forces Adele to go to the gym so that she loses weight bc he absolutely hates her body, (I'm trying not to throw up here), she meets a trainer, Latifa, with whom (without Adele knowing) she shares a deep connection. Will Adele escape the nightmare that her life has become?
A novel about an abusive horrific boyfriend gets what he deserves after a secret (unknowing) alliance between two women.
I loved the ending, it has a small twist that makes this novel different from other karma narratives.
Frustrating characters based on reality, an easy, fast-paced read with a simple writing style that reflected all povs perfectly. And wow what a perfect audiobook, the voice actors were so good and I loved the music additions, they made the whole audiobook experience so captivating! One of the best audiobooks I've listened to!
