This is the first in the series. The main character is Claire . Claire has a love of trains passed on from her granddad and does short 3 day trips on one of the trains her granddad use to be on. It has been restored and she loves these trips. She is going out on a special Christmas run and the guests with her have something in common. They all love trains and they all had a connection to one person on that train. But the first night one of the passengers disappears but there is no way he could. The train never stopped moving. They stop at the next station to meet with the cops but they turn out to be no help. No she has two days to figure out what happened and where the missing person is.Can she figure out who is behind all of this in time ?

Enjoyable And Entertaining!
A holiday train tour through the Rocky Mountains advertised as three days of scenic wonder, tall pine trees dusted with snow, frozen waterfalls and onboard ambience and hot cocoa. But there is also tension, a very nervous passenger and several travelers that are hiding something very secretive. This was another interesting and enjoyable book. Railroad facts about train travel when traveling by rail was the preferred mode. Priceless train artifacts from decades past and someone with a thirty year old secret. Fast paced and enjoyable, easily read in one sitting with just enough intrigue to keep you engaged.

This is a lovely mystery that captured my interest and kept me in anticipation of finding out who the guilty party was. I loved the premise of a scenic train ride thru winter vistas. This was a most enjoyable read!

This was a nice little story that was a perfect quick read over the Christmas holidays. It was well plotted with characters that fit the story line perfectly. Having enjoyed a nostalgic train ride in the past, it brought back memories with a twist of mystery. Delightful short read.

A well written mystery that kept the reader wondering what happened to one of the passengers. I hope this will become a series. I enjoyed reading it and I definitely recommend reading it.
