Playing for Keeps
No one has been the same since the day Bentley died. Everyone starts blaming themselves for his death, especially Sophia. Sophia feels like she should have never left and that she should have stuck by Bentley’s side after they lost their son. And she wishes she could change what happened on that very sad, emotional day when Evelyn was the one who found Bentley.
Evelyn and Xavier both try to navigate through the rest of their sophomore year of college before their daughter, Callie Jordan Grace, is born. Evelyn misses her big brother Bentley more and more each day, and it becomes harder on her. She doesn’t know if she’s ready to become a mother, and she’s scared that she will end up failing her daughter and failing her husband, Xavier.
McKenna as she tries to keep adjusting with motherhood, she’s also trying to be the best team captain before graduation.
