I love Masters of the Universe and this book certainly fits nicely into the mythos of Eternia. The book takes place after Skeletor's victory and before the return of Adam in the new 2026 live action movie. Duncan, Teela, and crew struggle to survive in a world where the forces of evil reign triumphant. Duncan struggles to come to terms with what it means to be a Man at Arms who has failed, Teela struggles to figure out a way to keep the group together and to lift the spirits of her father.

During the course of the story it is up to teenage Teela to face a legendary dragon and visit a mythical valley to save her friends and return balance to her world. Her journeys put her in the cross-hairs of none other than the manipulative Evil Lynn herself.
