Book Summary:

Christian Crowell, a newly retired Marine vet has visions that don't make sense. Then Alexander "Del" Delnevo moves to Brookstone and opens a jewelry store . When Christian sees him, he realizes he's the man from his visions. When Del hires Christian for security detail at the shop, Christian and Del start to get close. Christian gets more visions. When Del's grandfather is murdered it sets into motion one violent act after another, Del's life now being threatened. Christian and Del work with the FBI and his visions to find the murderer before it's too late.
Book Review:

Fortunes of the future is on a different level than the other two Brookstone stories as it has a supernatural twist. The visions Christian has come into play but you're never sure when, which adds to the mystery. Character development in all three books is fantastic, with multi layers and solid backgrounds. Christian is a soldier through and through, always calculating any possible scenario while he's in security mode. He's a strong man that is dealing with PTSD, nightmares, shrapnel and scars both physically and emotionally. Del is the proverbial rich playboy flirt that has caught Christian's attention.
When the two men head to LA for Del's grandfather's funeral (he'd been murdered and left with a threatening note to Del), things begin to really shift between Christian and Del. The stress of trying to stay safe, the string of murders that follow, and working with the FBI only brings the men closer. Flirtations melt into passion, and parts unknown to each other are revealed.
When everything comes to a head, and the reader realizes who the murderer actually is, it blows the mind. I did not see it coming. And I loved it! Everything ties together in one perfect package. It is awesome!
Finally I want to talk about the epilogue. I'm a fool for romance, and the epilogue is the best way to end the book. Characters from the first two books are peppered throughout this one, but all come together at the end, wrapped in a beautiful bow.
I highly recommend if you've read the other two Brookstone books you read this one. It lives up to the amazing storytelling, and foes not disappoint. These are not standalone books and must be read in order.
Favorite Quote:

"...now here I am,” Del continued, gesturing at the gathering behind them. “In Alabama of all places, surrounded by people who've literally risked their lives for me. People who feel like family.” Del turned in Christian's arms, resting his hands on the broad chest before him. “And I found you.”
