I am your friendly neighborhood Sapphic romance writer, who has a knack for writing steamy romances, that also work as comfort reads. I know, a conundrum! But once you give my books a shot, you'll know what I mean! I live in London, a few streets away from where Sherlock Holmes used to live, so... if I you find me taking too long to publish my next book, I am probably off with Mr. Holmes on an adventure.
Although I enjoyed this book, I am disappointed.. In the first book we have hot and heavy smut! THE PIANO SCENE!! However, the second book feels like a high school romance. I definitely wouldn’t consider it smutty, spicy at times. The book also had a lot of build up for a strap on scene, with no delivery. You’re going to tell me we have to hear about how being strapped by Kathy would make her “dreams come true” and we read about her getting a strap on delivered to her in the build up of Kathy’s return. But what do we get instead of the smutty dirty strap on scene that was building up, we get “ we fuck, and then we fuck some more. We fuck with the strap-on, and Kathy actually makes all my dreams come true”. I’m sorry what? After the piano scene in the first book, I was expecting a degrading strap on scene we deserved and I’m fairly disappointed.

Fast-paced, sex, danger, plots, Mafia, drugs, rock and roll. What could be better? A writer with a philosophical viewpoint who knows a thing or two about the value of love. And is talented enough to express it well. Loved the road trip. That'd be a food framework for the film I'm hoping for.
So because I refuse to DNF anything and I already paid for book two, I read it. Still 1 star cause there’s still some obvious signs of AI with repetitive phrases, movements that don’t add up, etc. I will I think this one was better than the first for what it’s worth.
I love everything by this author. It's laugh out loud funny, heartfelt, and relatable. The characters are amazing. Can't wait to read all of her books.
