I have not read a romance novel in so long, being that I was ankle deep in fantasy for awhile. This book was truly incredible. I don't know why I have strayed from romance but wow, I will definitely be picking it up more often now if it's anything like this.

WOW... what an amazing debut! if you love Elsie Silver, Lyla Sage, or just cowboy romances in general, Madelyn Grace is your new fave author!
I haven't felt this good about a book in a while. The storytelling is immaculate. It's not just fluffy smut. it's someone's real life somewhere that we get to read. I literally couldn't put it down!
Hayes has never been in love, and Margo was running from what was definitely NOT love. she gets an opportunity by a random older Cowboy to be a ranch hand, and she takes it. now we all know how stories like these go, and yes, it ends as you expect it does in a cowboy romance. BUT the pages in between the start and finish were a wild ride. you get humor from the ranch hands, drama from jealous girls, kidnapping exes, daddy issues in the worst way, amazing parents along the way, and just seeing random people become a family. I have to admit, I really wanted a certain shitty character to get more than what she got in this book, but I'm so happy with the ending!
The love Hayes has for Margo is what every person could dream of in life. and i can't wait to read more about this group! The spicy scenes, the drama, the danger, the friendships, the family, everything was perfect! This book makes you feel like it's summertime and you have a new hot cowboy book boyfriend!
the fact that this is a DEBUT novel is just wild to me. I was ready to move on to the next book NOW! haha. Madelyn Grace is my new fave author, and I can't wait to read what she puts out next! Everyone needs to stop what they're doing and go add this book to your shelves, your kindles (it's on KU!), and even on your headsets! Wildflower needs to be your next read!

OMG!! If you like Small Town Cowboy Romance with a Touch her and Die Vibe... GET THIS BOOK! I promise you won't regret it!! And if you're like me, you will have it finished in less than 24 hours!

it absolutely shocked me when i saw there was SMUT in here oh my lord…that was crazy. but what’s crazier is the INSANE amount of grammatical errors 😭 spelling names wrong, switched from 1st pov to 3rd, a mix of past tense and present tense, it even switched POVs for a line yikes 😬 AND i feel there’s always a high school “mean girl” who hurts the new girl in these cowboy books…i mean-OVER A MAN!? jesus…but overall i actually found this book entertaining :) this is def one of those books that draws me into cowboy romance <3

This book is so so amazing. I simply cannot believe it’s her debut novel, it is just immaculate. If you love Elsie Silver or just love you some cowboys, this is a must read!!

This book was such a sweet love story and yet the themes and plot points had the power to rip you apart. It was so easy to fall for Hayes and you want so bad for Margot to get everything she so desperately deserves! Love this book and sincerely recommend!

Yea so the jump to torture and murder was kinda crazy for me in this cowboy romance. Lost the plot a bit. I did manage to finish in one sitting as I simply could not predict at any point what was about to happen. A generous 2 ⭐️
