A Thanksgiving Eve flight delay throws Autumn and a fine West Coast stranger they call Woods into the same airport bar. One drink turns into several, which leads to a wild, impulsive hookup that neither of them expects to repeat.
I can always count on Thee Tasha Marie to deliver a quick, fire read, and sis did NOT disappoint. Autumn & Woods gave me the insta-connection I didn’t know I needed, and I was very much fed. The chemistry? Immediate. The vibe? Vibing. The friendship dynamics, the hunching, the Thanksgiving shenanigans—she packed a full meal into a snack-sized story. Now, I’m not gonna lie… that ending had me looking around like, “Wait—THAT’S where we stopping?” But I got over it real fast because clearly I wasn’t done with this couple anyway. I’m already perched and ready for whatever comes next, because Woods and Autumn deserve more page time, and I will be seated.
First time reading this author and I love it. The twists and turns had me shushimg the house. I love this couple, the family and the friendships. And that reach back...I was cheering!! So very well developed for a short very impactful read. I have never been more ready for Christmas.
Sis wrote the heck out of this book! Not only was I cackling but it was 🌶️! Autumn and Woods had such great chemistry, hell every character played their part. I’m glad Autumn was real and had a backbone, she didn’t allow others to play in her face. I’m so ready for the rest of their story.
This was a quick spicy read. Autumn and Woods had me clutching my pearls. I also liked that autumn was no punk when Woods ex was acting obsessed and jealous. 4.25⭐️
“This feels… fast.” “Nah,” he said, shaking his head slightly. “It feels real.”
Woods… When I saw Autumn at an airport bar, something inside me knew this was different in a major way. Now that I have her in my grasp, I’m determined to make her mine.
Autumn… What are the chances that the fine ass man I met at the airport would be my best friend’s cousin? I’m supposed to be trying to get him out of my system, but for some reason, I just can’t let go…
I love a “How Did You Get Here” love story. Neither Woods nor Autumn can fight what’s been written in destiny. The only problem with this story is that I have to wait until Christmas to get the ending.
Ate this book right up like it was a thanksgiving plate !! Such a good vibe throughout the book. If you’re looking for a cute holiday read, with some spice & a lil bit of drama this is it !! This book was such a good mfn timeee !! Can’t wait to see what come next
This was a good time! Autumn and Woods had immediate chemistry and a connection that felt tangible. Although they parted ways without sharing information, thoughts of the other weighed heavily on their minds. When they see each other again they are initially shocked, and that fire that wasn't quite put out reignited big time! 😜🔥Lots of fun, laughter, and a little drama later.... Gotta wait til Christmas to see how this all unfolds.
OMG!!!! I am so mad that I finished this book! I want more. I was so into reading that I didn’t realize I was on the last page and now I have to wait until Christmas to get the rest. Once again Thee Tasha Marie didn’t miss.
Imagine seeing your casual airport hookup at thanksgiving dinner and then y’all become inseparable until you fly back home only to realize that this might just be your person. I discovered Thee Tasha Marie in October and I can’t wait to go down her catalog but first I need book 2 expeditiously!
I don’t blame Autumn at all! I would’ve folded fast af 😂. I can’t wait for his reaction to her news, I can see him now packing her up and moving her to Cali.
Woods & Autumn 🤞🏾🤞🏾🔥🔥 I loved this story and baby Woods ain’t play about Autumn! I really enjoyed this story ! Thee Tasha Marie is easily becoming one of my favorite authors 💕
A layover in the best way 😝 meeting at the airport bar with undeniable chemistry led to a quickie in the bathroom.. both enjoyed with the idea of never seeing each other again.. even though they both felt connected.. however they never expected to see one another again at the family Thanksgiving.. Autumn came with her best friend Taj, who happened to be 1st cousins with Quamaine aka Woods.. the attraction and chemistry still lurked and they found a bedroom to continue at his grandma house.. then spent the rest of time in his room learning each other mentally and physically.. really feeling each other.. his ex popped up at dinner and Autumn put her in her place and had to do it again when they went out to the club.. but they still vibed and was reckless.. so much so, that Autumn has now missed a cycle with burrito cravings.. both back in their respective cities.. far from each other, but still staying in touch.. and it says to be continued for Christmas.. I enjoyed and can’t wait to see what happens next
This book had me in a chokehold, the spicy was spicy-ing and the chemistry between Autumn and Woods I was here for it. This book gave you a good love story in the making. Spicy spicy scenes and good vibes. I can’t wait to read until Christmas. If Thanksgiving is the season of leftovers, let me tell you—Autumn & Woods proves some leftovers are worth heating up again and again until the plate melts.
Autumn wasn’t expecting to see Woods at her best friend’s grandma’s house. She definitely wasn’t ready to face the man who still owns her body. She thought that trip to the bathroom would be the last time she would see Woods. But when he steps back into her orbit looking good D walking.… every emotion she tried to bury starts clawing its way back up.
Woods is the kind of man who walks in smelling like danger and temptation, and Autumn is the woman who refuses to fold but absolutely wants to fold—for him, maybe one more time. Their chemistry literally simmers like a pot of collard greens on the back burner.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (Let’s just say the turkey wasn’t the only thing getting basted.) Autumn & Woods proves that sometimes, the only thing hotter than the oven on Thanksgiving… is a second chance with the one person you never stopped wanting.
Woods and Autumn met at the airport bar while waiting on their delayed flight and after a few drinks they hooked up in the airport bathroom. Leaving out the bathroom they didn’t exchange info but ended up at the same Thanksgiving dinner. It was Woods’ family and Autumn was there with her best friend Taj who she met at cosmetology school. Woods nor Autumn couldn’t forget their bathroom rendezvous and were both glad that they got to run it back. They never once used protection and Woods even got so comfortable that he stopped pulling out. Even bragged about his super sperm loading her up with twins which is a possibility since his cousins Ty and Taj are twins. Three weeks later and Autumn has been craving the same burrito for weeks after returning home. It dawned on her that she hadn’t had her cycle at the very moment Woods was calling her and the book ended on a to be continued at Christmas. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Woods, Autumn, and possible twins.
She does it again( Possible spoiler alert) When Woods and Autumn met in that airport during a delayed flight, I just KNOW the universe was playing matchmaker because whew…the chemistry? Instant. The vibe? Insane. The hookup? Gave “we’re not supposed to be doing this but we absolutely are.” 😭🔥
They walked away like strangers, only to run into each other again like fate said, “run it back.” And baby, I devoured this book in 3.5 hours. Literally could not put it down.
Only thing I’m mad at? That cliffhanger. Why would the author play in my face like that?! I’m praying I don’t have to wait until Christmas for book 2 because I need answers NOW. 😩😂. Thee Tasha Marie is gonna always give the girls exactly what the need because yet again this book reminds me to never give up hope. One day I know I’ll run into my Woods 😩🤣💯
10/10—ate it up from beginning to end. 📚💋

Short, sweet, and giving Thanksgiving fling turned holiday chaos in the best way 😂
Imagine being stuck at the airport, colliding with a fine stranger, and suddenly y’all got nothing but time… so you toot up in the air — and no, I’m not talking flights ✈️😏 Once you land, you think it’s giving “one and done”… but baby, that was just the warm-up.
The vibe was vibing so good things got a lil’ reckless… and then it got dramatic because somebody absolutely got slapped (and yes, it was deserved 💅🏾).
Autumn is “soft but solid. Gorgeous but grounded.” Woods? A whole boss, fine, muscular, BDE, and ready to keep something sweet by his side 👀🔥
This little novella was the perfect holiday snack and the inkling we might get more for Christmas has me READY. I can’t wait to see what happens next… because baby, this ride is not done 😮💨🍂📚
Thee Tasha Marie can do no wrong in my eyes! If I ever need a quick read that’s gonna give me the feels, a lil humor and some spice, it’s always gon be a Tasha book baby and Autumn and Woods gave me exactly that. I loved the insta-love connection between the two, the friendship between Taj and Autumn, and the whole family dynamic. That was a real black Thanksgivin’ right there lol! You gotta have a lil drama so Yohana brought that, but Autumn and Woods got her together hunty.
I kept checking that percentage trying to figure out how Tasha was gonna wrap it up that quick, but I knew I wanted more of this couple. When I say I can’t wait for Christmas, baby, I mean it. So ready to see what’s next for Autumn and Woods😝🥰
Whew, baybeeee… Autumn and Woods was that novella that wrapped itself around me like a soft holiday blanket and whispered, “Stay right here.” This little gem served every bit of the seasonal magic my spirit craves—twinkling-light warmth, cozy-cup comfort, and storytelling that feeds ya soul!!
The journey through these pages felt like stepping into a quiet Fall Harvest evening where the characters guide you by the hand, showing you pieces of themselves that feel tender, real, and beautifully human. I devoured this read with a smile tugging at my heart the whole way through.
If you’re closing out Novella November and want something that feels like sipping cocoa by the fire while the world softens around you…..this is the one,
Go ahead and gift yourself this final little delight.
That too be continued!!! Guess we’ll have a baby for Christmas from Autumn and Woods! I can’t wait for the follow up! I love how they connected at the airport bar, and then ended up running into each other again at the house for Thanksgiving. These two were meant to link and be together. Now, they are bonded forever. Wonder how they’ll continue with this long distance relationship. I was mad Yohana came to the family dinner knowing her and Woods been over, but acted petty. You see he’s moved on, even though they really had just met… she didn’t know that though lol. Woods, Taj and Ty family a mess lol. Love them all! Great read
Both Autumn & Woods caught in a storm, having their flights delayed on their layover, decided to have a little fun to take the edge off. Little did they know they were heading to the same destination. When both of them parted ways after landing, they didn't think they would ever see each other again much less end up at the same thanksgiving dinner.
Ms Tasha Marie put her entire foot into this one. It was hot and steamy, messy, and two main characters who couldn't get enough of each other. I was laughing, gasping and kicking my feet. Woods was a mannnn okurrrr!!! And Autumn she don't play either because why did she slap that girl like that?? lmao
1st of lest just start off by saying baby don’t let a good thing pass you by you never know what you might let slip on by if you don’t just go with the flow. Airport bathrooms 🫣🫣🫣. Baby i was all smiles at the beginning of this book. We are starting off with a show baby. These two are looking for a good time to simply pass the time. That is until you can’t stop thinking about each other and run into each other by chance at Thanksgiving dinner. Ever fairytale needs a little drama and baby this weekend trip gives you that and more. Regardless Autumn and Woods is a great time and I see we are going to get to see more of these two and baby I’m here for how they show up next!!!
Mannnnnnn… Woods is top-tier Book Bae!! This story could have kept going forever and I wouldn’t have been mad at all. What I love about this author is that she gives us short Erotica that actually has a storyline. She writes those nasty scenes where you’re literally picturing yourself in the FMC's place, but it’s not just a bunch of random scenes—it’s a fully executed plot! I read both books back to back as I am late to these characters, but let’s just say if the author kept writing about these characters, my entire life would be made. Woods really took Autumn thru dere! 👏🏾
If you’re looking for a quick, spicy read, Autumn and Woods definitely delivers! The story kicks off with two strangers meeting at the airport, a delayed flight, and a couple of drinks that turn into… well, some unforgettable “fun” in the airport bathroom. 👀
But the real shocker comes when they land and unexpectedly run into each other again.
From there, it’s clear this story is all about a wild weekend, sizzling chemistry, and plenty of steamy moments. No drama, no strings—just pure heat and fun. Perfect if you love a fast-paced, spicy escape! 🚨🔥
I loved the encounter in an airport and the connection they made while waiting at the bar for their delayed flight. Her best friend whom she hadn't seen in a few years invites her to Thanksgiving dinner and her encounter at the airport is the best friends cousin. A weird coincidence they've never run into each other in the past but many of her family members knew her. Odd however there was a good deal of spice.
Nothing pisses me off more than a good ass UNEXPECTED cliffhanger… WTF she mean to be continued at Christmas?! That’s 3-4 weeks too long 😩
Clearly I enjoyed this book. Cute little spicy holiday meet cute read. The black spicy, sorta kinda but not really hood’ish hallmark variety if you will. Oh and we always love a man who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to make it known because he’s GROWN grown 🥰
You ever wondered what if you didn’t second guess yourself and just go with the flow when you connect with someone? This book is exactly that! Letting go of the what ifs and just seeing where it leads. Autumn and Woods went from causal to sharing varies levels of intimacy in one weekend. And I loved every second! I can’t wait to see what happens with them next
