Saying goodbye to this series feels incredibly bittersweet. I’ve had so much fun with it, and I genuinely loved almost every second. I can confidently say this is one of my favorite series of all time.

What I find interesting is that, despite how much I love these characters, the ending didn’t leave me completely devastated or hollow.Umm well, I did feel empty...but not overwhelmingly so. And honestly, I think that’s because ALL the volumes gave us the chance to live with the characters slowly and fully. We experienced their lives in such detail, chapter by chapter, that by the time the series ended, it felt like we had spent enough time with them..I miss them, but not in a painful way—more like the calm acceptance that their story has reached the place it needed to🥹🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰.

Watching them grow from childhood all the way to marriage was INCREDIBILITY touching and heartwarming. It was sweeeeeeeeeeet, comforting, and I can absolutely understand why this series feels like “home” to so many readers.

That said, while I loved this volume, it wasn’t my favorite in the series. I think there’s always an expectation that the final volume will be the strongest, and for me, this one fell just slightly short🙂. The ending felt a bit rushed. Even though we all knew where the story was heading, I felt like there could have been a few more chapters to explore deeper moments and emotions. I would have loved more space to breathe with the characters before saying goodbye.

Still, seeing them get their happy ending filled my heart completely. I was smiling from the moment they started dating, and by the end, I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness for them. Their happily-ever-after felt earned and satisfying.

My only major complaint comes from Mr Yoon's storyline. The Motherfucker absolutely deserved to lose his position and suffer the consequences of his actions—but the final chapters involving was deeply disturbing. Introducing themes like rape and kidnapping in an otherwise soft, comforting manga felt extremely out of place. It was uncomfortable, unexpected, and, in my opinion, unnecessary. Worse, it was left unresolved. We’re shown something incredibly traumatic and then given no follow-up, no context, no closure. If the author wanted to explore darker themes or focus on these characters, it should have been done in a separate work. As it stands, it added nothing and left me deeply concerned.

Aside from that, I truly loved this series. Despite its flaws, I would absolutely recommend it. It’s warm, emotional, and very very VERYYYYY comforting—and for many readers, it will always feel like home.

Okay so I still enjoyed it, but this is definitely the weakest in the series. It has a cute ending which was to be expected for the ending of the series, but as a whole, not much happens in this one tbh and it was all very rushed. This review contains spoilers, including about the ending and other significant events!

I love the characters and the main relationship, don't get me wrong, but I would have loved more on their friendships with other people and their work life. Speaking of work life, we barely see any of it in this one, and then we get a time jump and they've both quit 😂 Like yes we knew Taeseong wanted to be a baker, but why is Haebom also quitting? And we don't get like any closure at the company/their colleagues. So that was a bit stupid.

Speaking of not getting closure, I feel like that's a running theme in this final installment. We had quite a number of interesting story lines in the previous volumes, and I was expecting at least most of them to get tied up nicely here in this one. That sadly wasn't the case. In fact, another new and super interesting/scary thing happened here, with mr Yoon (the dickhead who worked at the company before and tried to sexually assault Taeseong) and we just got a cliffhanger in the middle of the book. Like, were we supposed to feel glad that happened to him? For like, karma reasons? Because I was just terrified. Yes, he should be punished for what he did, but I'm not exactly an eye for an eye kind of girl, if you get my drift... 👀

We did get some good intimate moments between our main characters regarding trust and being open and honest with each other, which I enjoyed. They also finally tell a certain person about their relationship, which was about time. I also adored the proposal scene 😍 even though after that we rushed through the rest of the story like we were being chased.

I did also count, for the sake of curiosity, and about 82 of the 303 pages our main characters are naked having sex. That's 27% (and that's without foreplay), so just know what you're getting into is what I'm saying, I guess? This series really transitioned from a cute wholesome highschool romance, to full on erotica. I'm not mad about it, but I do feel the transition could have been more gradual and also, especially in this volume, it sometimes felt like we were rushing through the story to get to another sex scene and that got old after a while 🤷🏻‍♀️ For people complaining about a 'rapey' undertone, I strongly disagree. I get that it may seem that way at first, but it's very obvious to me that this is all very consensual and the denying and refusing is part of their kink. Yes, I said it. These two seem very happy with the dynamic they've created and it doesn't need to work for you, but it obviously does for them. They're into a bit of light bdsm and cnc, deal with it.

Okay, that's all. Not my favourite volume at all, but it did have some very sweet moments. Maybe not the best final installment, but this series will always have a special place in my heart.

Die sexuelle Missbrauch Szene von Dawon war echt schockierend und unerwartet (es gab keinerlei Triggerwarnungen), genauso wie total unnötig für die Gesamthandlung (..ja gut, die gibt es eh nicht). Absolut nicht akzeptabel, vor allem hat man die Charaktere danach nicht mehr gesehen. Der ganze band hat eigentlich nur Sexszenen beinhaltet, und hier und da ein paar Plots (die aber echt langweilig waren...). Ich weiß nicht, ob so viele dieser Szenen wirklich nötig waren. Was mich am meisten gestört hat, sind nicht die Szenen an sich, sondern wie oft Haebom sich scheinbar unwohl gefühlt hat, und Taesong trotzdem weitergemacht hat, ohne darauf einzugehen. Zum Andern die Szene, wo taesong mega betrunken war, habe mich beim lesen echt unwohl gefühlt. die ganze story war einfach nicht meins, obwohl anfangs zumindest noch sowas wie eine handlung existiert hat, die aber auch nur okay war. die letzten bände könnte man echt in einem paragraph zusammenfassen. story war echt nichts besonderes.
zwei sterne nur dafür, dass die zeichnungen und das designkonzept der bände schön sind.

Das hätte so ein toller Abschlussband werden können. Probleme wurden gelöst. Die Kommunikation funktioniert immer besser. Ihre Liebe zueinander ist soooo toll. Sie finden ihren Platz im Leben.
ABER:
Warum zum Geier muss man ein Kapitel, mit so einen Sch… als Nebenstrang einbauen??? Wer braucht in dieser Geschichte denn bitte Entführung und VG. Das hat mir das schöne Gefühl in diesem Teil total versaut. Hach!!!

come serie mi è piaciuta molto. solo una cosa: io amo lo smut, ma, come dire, qui, da quando hanno iniziato a farlo non facevano altro che farlo ogni secondo. troppo, persino per me sembrava troppo.

Decirle adiós a este manhwa me parte el corazón, le doy un 1000/5. Si quieres leer un manhwa q te haga sentir mariposas y q es green flag, este es tu lugar correcto.

If this is truly meant to be the last volume in the series following the online chapter releases, it would need to wrap up season 4 and the epilogues (of which there are many). We do finally meet Taesung's dad in the last season, and while it seems he could be a bigger challenge than Ms. Ha was, seems oddly more reasonable in some ways too, though boundaries are questionable and clearly has little to no concept of how to interact as a father rather than a business figure. Haebom is his usual innocent self, which draws more than a few people to him and may stir up some misunderstandings along the way. For as meek and passive as Haebom usually is, it's also good to see that he does actually get jealous and worries about Taesung, too. Their big office job ended up being a bit of a land mine, but it seems like they're also gaining some good experience and connections in the process.

Even through it has many things that can trigger people, that is why I think it is best to look into the trigger warning. Even through of that it is a very very sweet Story about two Childhood friends that come back togehter as friends after a falling out and then coming togehter. Both Charakter live through a Charakter developement were they both helped each other to grow. My personal favourite time and szenes were from the High School time that is also the bigest time in the Life Action Series that is also very cute I rewatched it like 10 times already.
It is kinda a comfort zone for me both the Series and the books.
