This is book four of five in the speed demons series. it contains themes of infertility, grief, and healing. Please check trigger warnings before reading—your mental health matters.
Please this is book 4 of 5 in a continuous series that must be read in the following order.
*Overdrive *Close Contact *Flat Out *Red Flagged *Finish LinePlease this is "Her Edition", meaning the ending of this book is from her POV. To read his POV, you will need to purchase "His Edition". Both endings are important to the storyline
I’m putting this at the top, TW for EXTENSIVE discussion of miscarriage and infertility. PLEASE protect your mental health, I will not be offended if you can’t read this review. . . . . . . . . . This is probably going to be the hardest review I’ve ever written, so I’m going to go ahead and apologize for making you cry if you read this. If it helps, I’m already bawling and haven’t even started writing. This whole series healed a part of my history I didn’t realize needed healing, and I received the ARC for Red Flagged as I was actively miscarrying a loved and prayed for pregnancy, that happened after 8 years of secondary infertility. To be honest, I bawled through most of that first reading and couldn’t write this review if I tried. I had to step back and give my heart time to heal. I wanted to give this book the review it deserved, and I couldn’t do that at the time, but I’m ready now.
Have you ever read a series that changed you? That’s been Caitlyn P. Tajon’s Speed Demons series for me. It’s shown me that I’m not broken, that I’m not alone. And that I’m deserving of love, even when my body is failing me. It’s shown me that love shows up when the rest of the world runs away. Red Flagged is probably the hardest book I’ve read in a very long time, but it was absolutely worth every tear that fell. I never once felt that my heart wasn’t safe in Caitlyn’s hands, and she treated the story with the reverence it deserves.
Woven into the heartbreak is a love worth fighting for. Callum and Aurèlie have their flaws, and their own demons to fight, but the way they show up for one another reminds me of my own love story in the best way. Even in their imperfection, with their own mental health struggles, they show up for one another again and again.
The spice, as always, is off the charts. The attention to detail and storytelling is some of the best I’ve seen, and I cannot recommend this series enough!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ #formulaoneromance #f1romance #formulaone
🇬🇧
The fourth and penultimate book, I loved it more than the others, and I'm anxious for the last one to arrive in a few hours. I'm not ready to abandon them completely; this book killed me more than the others (and I'm even more afraid of the last one).
I'm only saying this because I want to save the rest for the next review: I liked the fact that even though they're together and in love, they continue to discover and demonstrate their feelings.
What to Expect: 🏎️ worship-level spice 🏁 rivals to lovers 🏎️ requited love 🏁 forbidden desire 🏎️ bad ass FMC 🏁 found family 🏎️ forced proximity 🏁 book four cliffhanger 🏎️ Dual pov Formula 1 Racers Praise Kink + Degradation Slow Burn High-Stakes Competition
NOT A FINISH LINE. NOT A CHECKED FLAG just a beginning -WITH THE ONLY PERSON ELEVER WANTED BESIDE
The girl gang in back! I’m so excited to continue this series that I’m absolutely obsessed with! This is a much more emotionally charged story than the previous books. It’s also more vulnerable and raw! With some heavy topics (please check the tw page) The characters are all faced with life changing obstacles and decisions. As in the other books there is such absolute devotion. This book is extra steamy as they dive further into k!nk exploration. I loved the spice! And the found family and I can’t rave enough about this book! I can’t wait for the finish line!
5 ⭐️ First and foremost, thank you to Luna and Caitlyn for allowing me to read this book early. This book was hands down my favorite. No notes. It was funny, frustrating at times, and so emotional. There were so many twists and turns, and I love seeing the growth in Aurelie and Callum’s relationship. It completely wrecked me and I can’t wait for the next book.
Again, this feels difficult to write because the topics in the book are very important to write about and that part, the personal struggle is truly well done. It made me really feel the pain and the struggle of the FMC.
But other parts.. it was waaaaaay to much. It is mentioned in every book that the main characters communicate but are both stubborn. But that seems to go downhill ever since book 2. Yes they communicate, sort of.. but in a way that makes me do a massive eyeroll. For 2 characters who have said to have found their soulmate by the end of book 1/beginning of book2 they sure fight a lot and doubt themselves and the other EVERY SINGLE TIME. And it doesn't make sense.. page after page it is internal discussions whether the other one still loves them.
I am curious where this is going, but I do hope there is more of the F1 as in book 1.
"God, she looked like the future. Not just mine, ours."
I do not even know where to start this review, because Caitlyn has absolutely broken me with this one. Six stars doesn’t even begin to cover what this book did to me. I felt every emotion with bone-deep clarity. It was love, grief, fear, devotion, hope. It was everything.
Red Flagged was a homage to all women. It was filled with so much real, intense moments. It was full of raw love, heart shattering scenes. Red Flagged is a portrait of unwavering love. It shows that even through the darkness, light will always shine.
Auri and Cal have cemented themselves into my heart. Their story is filled with worship and devotion, yearning and resilience. They are beautifully vulnerable and have grown so much through their heartbreak.
Where the first three books were more set in the world of F1 and focused on the struggles of being a woman in a man-filled world, Red Flagged takes you on a whole different route. It gives so many painful but important moments of real life experiences. It shines light on the hidden, the taboo of being a woman. Of the struggles so many deal with.
Their story was equal parts heartbreak and beauty. They broke, they rebuilt. They leaned on each other and fought for what they believed in. I am thoroughly broken by Caitlyn's words. She knows how to make you feel like you are living someone else's soul.
The connection between Aurélie and Callum is the kind of connection that brands itself into your soul. Their devotion was so raw and real, it made my chest hurt.
Aurélie & Ivy their friendship wasn't shown much in Red Flagged but the moments we did get, showed us girlhood in the most pure form. It was beautiful to witness the love these two have for each other. The side characters in Speed Demons are so important, and that was shown in these small scenes.
Overall Caitlyn handles painful subjects with so much tenderness and honesty. It felt devastating and cathartic. The portrayal of trauma and healing was so real, it was at times hard to breathe through it. But it was devastatingly beautiful and left the story echoing inside of me once I shut off my kindle.
I don't think I can say anymore to properly portray the way Red Flagged made me feel. Caitlyn, you are a master of words. The way you are able to write the love and devotion between these characters, the friendships and found family. The strength of writing your own experiences into a book for everyone to scrutinize is a scary thing, but something you handled with so much grace and care. I am so proud of you and this series you are writing. I cannot wait to see what the future will hold and I can't wait for Finish Line. 🤍
If you want a read that wrecks you, moves you and leaves you breathless; Red Flagged is it. Please heed the trigger warnings and remember: it's book 4 in an ongoing series, that needs to be read in order.
“Your battles are mine, and mine are yours. Always. That’s how this works, right? You and me, team forever. Racing 101.”

This is book four in the Speed Demons series. It must be read in order.
The Catalog: F/M, rival F1 drivers to lovers, feminine rage, badass FMC, fighting the system, possessive & obsessive MCs, god tier level MMC, established couple, endometriosis representation, hurt/care * Kink: light Dom/sub, impact play (crop) * CWs: infertility & miscarriage, anxiety, mention of self harm
Synopsis: Aurélie and Callum’s story continues in Red Flagged, book four of the Speed Demons series; Aurélie doesn’t just want to win races anymore, she’s on the warpath to bring systemic change to F1, and she’ll take down everyone to make it happen.
Thoughts: First, let me say that this is probably my favorite contemporary romance series of the year. I love these characters and their story so much. They are explosive in personality, chemistry, and love. Aurélie and Callum officially own a part of my heart and I am getting so ramped up for the finale in book five. In addition, I think the author has put so much time and effort into the racing portions, and I really appreciate how much racing is in the series.
That being said, this particular book is my least favorite so far, and I think it’s because very little happens on page other than sex. In addition, the repetitive nature of Callum and Aurélie’s emotional monologues started to grate. I honestly think that both of these issues could have been avoided if the series were one book shorter.
I do have so many feels about the major conflict in this book, and I cannot stress enough how seriously readers need to take the TWs. The conflict was heart wrenching, and it left the door open for Callum and Aurélie to deepen their emotional intimacy, which I think was needed and appreciated.
I still absolutely recommend this series to sports romance readers that like drama and spice!!
Book 4 is the one that showed us way more heart and emotion, and went a lot deeper than the others. Caitlyn has such a good way of hooking her readers and I’m in such a chokehold with this series. I can’t believe the next book will be the last of the series!!!! I am not ready!
Aurélie and Callum are formula 1 racers who were rivals and are now lovers. Their story is hot, beautiful, and one of a kind. This book will hit harder though with girls who have dealt with miscarriages and endometriosis. It was heartbreaking to read, even for someone who never experienced those things, so be prepared. I don’t want to give much away, just be ready for some heartbreak and a cliffhanger that leaves you anxious and so excited !
Red Flagged is the fourth book in the Speed Demons series, and it really should be read in order.
To be honest, this book was pretty difficult for me to get through for a couple of reasons. The chapters are all quite long, which can feel daunting at times. Some of them could have been broken up, and some of the characters’ internal monologues could have been trimmed. That was actually one of the biggest challenges for me—during the first part of the book it felt like there were constant internal conversations, and many of them came across as the character simply whining.
Another thing to note is that this book deals with miscarriage, the FMC experiences one. Miscarriage is difficult to read about, but it happens far more often than people realize. If this is a sensitive topic for you, you may want to skip this book.
Even though the miscarriage aspect was painful to read, it was also very relatable for me, and I loved how the characters came together. I especially appreciated how Cal supported Aurélie and never blamed her for what happened. The author could easily have taken the story in a more dramatic, less compassionate direction, but thankfully chose not to.
Even though this book felt a lot longer than it needed to be, I think it plays a huge part in Cal and Aurélie’s story. I am really looking forward to seeing how the author wraps up the series.
Thank you, Luna Literary, and thank you to the author for the opportunity to read an ARC of this book. I cannot wait to finish the series with the fifth book, Finish Line.
Definitely check the trigger warnings but this book series is wonderful and Red Flagged, the fourth book in the series, is emotional, super spicy, sometimes funny and heartbreaking at times but with the most beautiful resolution. I loved reading about Auri and Cal’s ever evolving relationship and their fierce love and devotion to each other. Auri and Cal’s friends were in this book less but it was still fun to read the scenes they were in and this book explores Auri’s relationship with her siblings more which was nice. Thank you to author Caitlyn P. Tajon and The Smuthood for the opportunity to read this early!
it has quite literally taken me daysss to write this because once again my girl cait has left me speechless, Red Flagged is Truly emotionally beautiful. Each book continues to get better and better the more we dive into their story, the emotion in red flagged broke me and took my heart and ran, it was just so heartbreakingly beautiful. I sobbed through almost every chapter and best believe I devoured in our sitting.
Red flagged contains some heavy topics, so please please please check the triggers and remember to take care of yourself while reading!! Happy reading!!
I was an emotional wreck after this one! Aurélie and Callum are just fireworks together. They do not give up on each other and are fighting for their future together. I just don’t have the words for how beautiful this story is while discussing hard topics. I highly recommend this one!
Just a reminder, this is booked 4 of 5 of the Speed Demons Series and has to be read in order cliffhangers.
ARC Review — Red Flagged by Caitlyn P. Tajon 🏎️❤️🔥 3,5 stars!
Red Flagged is an emotional, high-pressure F1 romance that puts Auri and Cal through some of their toughest moments yet. What really stood out to me is how the book blends the intensity of the racing world with real themes like grief, healing, and public scrutiny. I especially loved Auri’s arc. Her fight for equality and women’s rights in motorsport gives the story so much heart and purpose. ✊🏽💫
Their relationship stays strong even when everything around them feels like it’s breaking. But I have to admit…the spice level was a bit too much for my taste 🌶️😅 and sometimes overshadowed the emotional moments. Because of that, Close Contact is still my favorite. It felt more balanced overall. 💛
Still, Red Flagged is a passionate, dramatic continuation with meaningful themes and a lot of love for the sport. Perfect if you enjoy high-heat romance mixed with F1 adrenaline and a heroine determined to change the game. 🏁✨ The book is out and soon book 5, the last book in the Speed Demon series, will be out as well!
my first NON 5 star in this series🫣 I loved the plot development in this but that was hard to get to between all the spicy scenes (hey I love spice as much as the next person but at this point it's too often and unnecessary😭) I'm super interested to see where things go with Ivy and Marco though !
what I do have to say though is why are Cal and Auri SO dramatic in this book??
Red Flagged, the fourth book in Caitlyn P. Tajon’s five-book Speed Demons series, stands apart from the others in the most powerful way. While the first three books immerse readers in the high-stakes world of Formula 1 and the challenges women face within it, this book shifts its focus. It becomes raw, intimate, and unflinchingly honest, focusing less on racing and more on the emotional terrain Auri and Callum must navigate together. This change in tone makes their journey feel more believable, relatable, and deeply human.
What makes this book so striking is how openly Tajon explores the experiences many women go through but rarely speak about. The portrayal of endometriosis, infertility, and miscarriage is handled with honesty and immense care. These chapters are heavy and for some readers deeply personal, yet they are written with a tenderness that turns even the hardest moments into something meaningful. The grief, healing, and resilience woven through Auri’s story hit with devastating clarity.
Auri and Cal continue to prove why they are one of my favorite contemporary romance couples. Their connection feels almost tangible, filled with devotion, yearning, vulnerability, and emotional intensity. This book pushes their relationship to a new depth, forcing them to confront fears and truths they’ve been avoiding. What they go through isn’t just dramatic—it’s transformative. They break and rebuild together, learning how to trust, communicate, and lean on each other in ways that feel heartbreakingly real. Their intimacy is passionate and tender, grounded in trust rather than shock value, and one scene in particular blends emotion and sensuality so beautifully it left my chest aching.
Tajon also excels at showing the importance of community. Even though this book centers primarily on Auri and Cal, the moments with side characters stand out. Aurélie and Ivy’s brief but powerful scenes highlight girlhood and quiet support. The found family element remains one of the series’ greatest strengths, adding warmth and grounding the story when emotions run high.
Compared to the earlier books, Red Flagged has a slower pace and places less emphasis on the racing aspects. Instead, it focuses on the emotional development between Auri and Cal. At times the long monologues or repeated reflections can feel like a lot, but they also reflect the intensity of a relationship that is still new, overwhelming, and growing in real time. Their dual POV helps illuminate their fears and motivations, making their conflicts understandable even when they’re frustrating.
Despite all the pain woven through this book, it is also full of strength and hope. Auri’s fire and determination are magnetic as she pushes against a male-dominated world with fierce, unapologetic energy. Callum’s steady, anxious, open-hearted loyalty balances her perfectly. Together, they are raw, intense, and unforgettable.
The final chapters left me completely undone. The perfectly placed French, the vulnerability, and the emotional weight all came together in a way that felt both devastating and beautiful. Caitlyn P. Tajon writes with a soul-deep honesty that makes you feel every emotion her characters carry.
If you want a story that moves you, breaks you open, and refuses to let you go, Red Flagged is that book. Be sure to check the trigger warnings, and remember that this is the fourth book in a series that absolutely must be read in order. I’m all in and already counting the days until the finale.
This is book 4 in the Speed Demon F1 series. This one hits on deeper topics and more emotional aspects. Auri and Callum go through some heavy stuff in this one - definitely more personal rather than outside people like the previous books. Yes, they're still dealing with FIA and lawsuits and things, but the turmoil and hurt that happens/the conflict of this book is between the two MCs. And eventually, we do get to see them finally at a happy place. There's also some kink stuff in this one that adds to the book's emotional connection theme (dom/sub).
Ok, so I will admit I almost gave this book 3 stars... something happens at around the halfway mark that was really hard for me to get past.
Without giving too much away, a fight that happens between Auri and Callum. At this point, being the 4th book in the series, I thought we were past this stuff. I thought we wouldn't have to deal with any more misunderstandings or insecurities. It's also strangely timed after they connect in such a new emotional way too.. I understand they are still new-ish, still figuring it out, still have their trauma, I get that. The fight that happens - the feelings behind it are legit, but the WAY it happens.. the way Auri reacted was immature and just over the top, and Callum's reaction to her reaction actually made sense. I felt for him. I get why he felt the way he did, but I didn't get her. BUT even he got his thoughts together and tried to move forward/show up for her, and she acted so frustratingly..She blew the whole thing out of proportion. and it wasn't quick. This takes ... quite a few chapters to get through. And the resolution in the rain (tho it was a hot scene) seemed odd - like this whole thing was a fever dream to get them to have this important and meaningful conversation for their relationship, which it was. It ties in to them being stronger and all that. But I was just so over it. I had to put the book down for a bit..
That said, if you can get past that and keep pushing through (I recommend you do), the two do get to that good place. FINALLY. I hope that's the end of their inner drama, that it's them against the world now.
The topic of infertility mentioned in the TW plays a significant role in the second half of the book. I think the way Auri tried to deal with things on her own is extremely relatable. The way Callum shows up for her and takes her burden of pain. Like, good lord. I think I said this in book 1 or 2 review, but this man... the entire scene of when he shows up and him caring for her.. THIS made up for that frustrating fight..
I'm excited to read the next book and see what's next for these two (especially after that ending) and see their conclusion.. I hope we get to see some of their future in an epilogue!
Thank you to the author and agency for providing me with the e-arc for my honest review.
Tropes: dom/sub found family forced proximity worship-level devotion Dual POV
Triggers: on-page miscarriage
.... ....... ........ I don't know where to start. I've been broken and put back together by a book series before. One - and it was a fantasy series. I never thought, truly, that a contemporary romance would ever break me close to the level the other did and also put me back together so beautifully. But Caitlyn's done with with her F1, high-stakes, worship level romance series that I lost words. If you've not started this series, I beg you, do it. If you know nothing about F1 sports, you'll leave a fan. If you want something ultra spicy but truly beautiful in the couple's devotion, this is it. If you want a book with the baddest FMC who is going to rock the patriarchy to it's core- Aurelie is her. If you want a book that let's you connect on a personal level what we as women go through- whether that's gender bias, harassment, infertility, etc- OH this book is HER. I can't recommend this series enough.
Red Flagged picks up immediately where Flat Out left off. Aurelie, Callum, and their core group are here to make waves with the FIA for positive changes. However, this man-dominated sport are pushing back and blowing off Aurelie because she's a woman. In the middle of fighting this up-hill battle for change, Aurelie is fighting a personal battle of infertility, specifically an active miscarriage, and miscommunication with Callum.
**If this is a trigger for you, please read the warning at both the beginning and the end of the book, Caitlyn will tell you which chapters to skip**
The emotions in the chapters between Callum/Aurelie's miscommunication through the miscarriage...... I literally cried. I did. I felt so much. Callum's POV after a specific scene in a hotel room that leads to miscommunication between him and Auri... it was perfection. I'm so glad that Caitlyn gave us this POV because like Auri, my head would have spun out and assumed one thing and having Callum's side and understanding... it made me feel so much for him. The way this scene was written was so beautiful.
Then..... those miscarriage chapters. That's where I'm at a lost of words. I cried. I broke. My heart was ripped out for a 2nd time this book and I didn't know how it'd be put back together. It was already fragile. I'm not going to go into details on this one but while heart-wrenching to the core, I don't think it could have been written any other way. It was raw. It was truthful. It was.... it was.... gosh. I don't even know.
I'm not ready for this series to end. The idea that there's 1 more book makes me sad and also, excited. And I KNOW that Auri and Cal will reach that Finish Line in a blaze of glory. It's going to be epic.
I have no idea how to feel after this one, y’all. This is book four in the Speed Demons series—which must be read in order—and it is a heartbreaking, emotional rollercoaster. I really appreciate all the trigger warnings from Caitlyn because this is trigger-heavy if you’ve ever been through it. Please read the warnings and mind your triggers. This one deals with miscarriage, infertility, and the things women go through in their careers and lives as their bodies continually fail them.
We pick up right where we left off in Flat Out, with Aurélie wanting to sue the FIA for their negligence and discrimination. While we do get some race time in this one, and both Aurélie and Callum doing their best to sell a crash and fight, this book is less about the races and winning, it’s more about the quiet moments in between.
There’s so much more connection and downtime with Auri and Cal. This wasn’t really sex-heavy, but what we do get is intense, evocative, and deeply emotional. We still see their D/s and switch behaviors, Auri willing letting Cal take control more, Daddy/Brat vibes, but it’s so much more because they are so much more now and it’s written in a way that feels tangible and real.
The major plot underlying this book is where I did have to skim over the harder parts because I’ve been through it, but the author captures the carousel of emotions of miscarriage and infertility with such care, tenderness, and heart. I felt so much heartbreak for Aurélie and I actually cried. Callum proves, even when he speaks without thinking sometimes, he knows his girl and he’s the perfect book boyfriend. I loved how much he took care of her and how she was willing to let him see her at her absolute lowest. The ending is also very sweet, and I loved Cal’s POV of that scene.
This one was full of quiet intensity and didn’t feel like filler before the end. It’s not my favourite of the series so far, but I think it’s the best written one of it. I appreciate that Caitlyn didn’t shy away from the harder topics of a woman dealing with the harsh realities of having a uterus, especially seeing a strong character like Aurélie go through this. She can kick butt behind the wheel and bleeding on the floor, as every woman can.
Thank you to the author and The Smuthood for the ARC. I can’t wait for the finish line.

Straight away take the trigger warnings seriously. I often scoff at TWs but even with a healthy dose of age and personal experience, I would feel remiss not to say upfront
**if you are sensitive to discussions surrounding infertility, anxiety, miscarriage or endometriosis check yourself at the first page. We have had warning shots in Book 3 but Book 4, Red Flagged holds very few punches when it comes to the on page description of (fictional) endo or miscarriage. **
I do wish in the early chapters the author had just used the language and not danced around- say it loud and say it clear, endometriosis, miscarriage and loss. Medical misogyny is alive and well, as is misogyny in the workplace when it comes to womens health. I get it, but I also want it spelt out. There is power in words - as readers we know this.
On average it takes 6.5years for an endo diagnosis so our FMC Aurelie, is already ahead of the average person by even having a diagnosis (Endometriosis Australia https://endometriosisaustralia.org/di...). Add to that, if 1:4 (Australian https://miscarriageaustralia.com.au/u...) pregnancies miscarry before 20 weeks, we need, nay, we must speak openly so the women around us know they are not alone. Never alone.
This is perhaps where the character arc for Callum is most powerful. As a partner, he is also losing something precious. Even if that is a half baked idea of a future never before considered, the way his devotion to Aurelie and his grief was written powerfully. The character of Callum stepped up in this book offering a steadiness, clear-headedness and humaness that was needed.
My favourite part of the book was the found family banter. These support characters are rocking along and their presence rounds out the intensity and circular thinking our main couple are prone to. Again, a small frustration was the continued internal monologuing of our main MMC and FMC.
There was very little racing in this book which I honestly missed. Red Flagged has certainly been the most emotionally strong book so far due to it's themes of grief and surrendering to the now. There have been times throughout the series that I have wondered if it really needs to be five books. But I am committed to the end now. We have a number of loose ends to tie up in Finish Line and I'm looking forward to a Happily Ever After for Callum and Aurelie.
3.5>4 for the discussions around womens health that need to be in the open.
With my thanks to Luna Literary and the author for a copy of the eARC to read ahead of publication. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
“Her name didn’t just sound beautiful. It tasted like surrender, the syllables burning like scripture on my tongue. I tasted every letter, and for a heartbeat, I wasn’t just in love with her. I was consumed. This wasn’t just about sex. It wasn’t even about love. This was about devotion. Worship.”
**As a reminder this is a rapid release, 5 book series. You must read Overdrive, Close Contact, and Flat Out before reading this book. All 3 books are available on Kindle Unlimited (full reminder we DO NOT support piracy of books). The series ends in a HEA but each individual book ends on a cliffhanger.**
CW/TW: please please please take this seriously, there is a huge TW for infertility and misc@rriage, as stated above there are footnotes if you do need to skip these chapters, there is also moments of panic, emotional spirals, and self doubt, mentions of assault (shmexual and physical), high pressure competitive environments
…
it has taken me weeks to write this review i feel like because it has been impossible to put into words how truly amazing and blown away i am by this book, and caitlyn, and aurelie and callum…. just everything. this book goes into some heavy topics into auri and cal’s relationship so please check the trigger warnings. if you want to read anyways but need to pause through the tougher topics, caitlyn, being the amazing human that she is created footnotes in the book that you can use to get a synopsis of what occurs without details.. i have read hundreds if not thousands of books in my life. But Caitlyn, with the way that she writes, has healed things within me that i didn’t realize were broken. Reading red flagged helped me process something that i have been through, but didn’t know how to feel or to process… Caitlyn, you made me feel seen. i had always felt so guilty surrounding my feelings, and seeing those feelings, written on a page, being felt by a character that i have grown to love? two words. healing. visibility. thank you caitlyn. thank you. reading the growth that auri and cal not only as individuals but as a couple in red flagged is truly astronomical. and of course its caitlyn so the spice is WHOOWEEE. hot. i loved reading the exploration into different parts of themselves. y’all remember how flat out was auri’s? well… red flagged is callum’s.
DADDY DOM CALLUM… i am sat sir. his melt worthy mouth continued in this book but not only had me crying from my thighs but also my eyes. this man showed up. hard. for Auri. but more importantly for himself too. Red Flagged delves into a lot of deeper feelings for Callum and what he wants in the future for himself and with Auri. We see him show up in ways and for things we didn’t expect or see coming. The way that they both manage to always pull eachother out of the spirals that they send themselves down. But also push eachother to be vulnerable and open for eachother. Just astronomical.
Well, that was a whirlwind of emotions. Auri is pure, undiluted feminine power, and Callum is the wholehearted, steady support she deserves. This book is a rush and so much happens. There’s an all-consuming scene of love, trust and dominance, then —real, soul-shattering problems crash in that are raw and intense. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s so well executed. I felt every punch, every pit stop, every breath and I just couldn’t put the book down. And somehow through the whole story Callum and Aurélie just keep getting more beautiful together. 🥹
What I Loved About This Book • Auri’s fire and her feminine rage: She brings fierce, unapologetic energy. You feel her push against a male-dominated world and it’s addictive. She is an inspiration and also so relatable in wha she is experiencing after these moments.✨ • Callum’s heart: The way he shows up—quietly, consistently—had my heart. But also the way he is so real. He also has anxiety, overthinking and it’s so relatable. These are things that are not spoken about and here the are highlighted for the world to see. • That power-charged intimacy: One scene in particular blends love and dominance and it’s real. The way it’s written it shows how they build trust with a capital T. The power dynamics are hawwwt but without losing tenderness. Whew. • Real stakes, not just sport: It tackles heavy, important themes with compassion. The emotions are brutal but beautifully written. They are relatable and strong and intense. (Check your TW) • Pace + plot + partnership: The story drives along while never losing the relationship heartbeat. It is not just about them, it’s about so much more. It is a strong plot, strong couple and some strong subjects. • Found family & banter: Their circle shows up hard; the teasing and loyalty are the warm hug you need. And honestly I love them. It shows that friends are so much more they can be family🫶
These books are so much more than sport—they thrum with heart, heat, and hard truths. I’m fully invested and counting down to the finale. ❤️

Now, I just finished reading this one, and I'm not able to write a full review quite yet because the emotions are still running so rampant in me after finishing. But I sent a message to the author in a group chat, and I feel that message sums up my feelings as of this moment in time:
I just have to say one thing - thank you, Caitlyn. Thank you for making those with bodies, trauma and history like Auri seen. For acknowledging the troubles those with certain health issues face, and the emotional upheaval that occurs, not only in the moment, but in the days, months, years that follow. A weird one - but thank you for letting me cry with your characters. It was hell of an emotional experience. I have no words other than thank you. And curse you for making me bawl like an idiot at 7am in bed. But thank you.
**
Okay. I've had a couple of days to think over this book, how to review it, and how to put my feelings into words. It's not going to happen. That initial reaction? Still the best way to sum it up. I can't expand on it more without giving away spoilers, but heed those TWs when stepping into this one. Because Tajon writes it real. She writes it true. She doesn't hold back, yet she writes it with sensitivity and truth and dear god I'm crying again as I write this.
My heart is broken, yet healed at the same time. What Auri and Cal have gone through shows true strength, true character development and true growth as a couple (and as individuals). But it's not just that major turning point you see the growth. You see it in the way they fight to right the wrongs of Luminis, of the FIA and the misogyny.
There were twists I didn't see coming - twists I want expanded on and I hope to see more resolution for in book 5. There was romance, heartache, and holy hell was there one of the hottest scenes I've ever read. There was true found family with Kimi, Marco and Ivy. There was laughter and healing, and some truly magical moments.
I cannot wait to see how this all concludes next month; I'm not ready for it to be over.
Thank you to the author and @lunaliterary.management for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.
Red Flagged, the fourth book in Caitlyn P. Tajon’s Speed Demons series, completely stole my heart in a way I wasn’t prepared for. It shifts away from the high-speed chaos of the racing world and instead gives us this deeply emotional, intimate look into Auri and Callum’s relationship, and honestly, it made their story feel so much more raw, real, and personal. I felt every moment with them.
Caitlyn P. Tajon writes Auri’s vulnerable moments with such gentleness and emotional honesty that it completely wrapped me up. The way she unpacks Auri’s fears, growth, and healing felt so real that I swear I was feeling it right alongside her. And Auri and Cal together? I’m genuinely obsessed. Their connection in this book is so tender, so protective, and so full of quiet, aching love that it made me fall for them all over again, harder than before.
The way they navigate their struggles, lean on each other, and just exist together is everything I didn’t know I needed. Every glance, every word, every small moment between them hits like a gut punch of emotion. I couldn’t put this book down, and I honestly don’t think I’ll stop thinking about these two for a long, long time.
Even with the focus on them, the found family moments still add warmth and grounding, making the story feel full and alive. The pacing is slower and more emotional, but it fits perfectly, giving their journey the space it deserves.
And that ending, omg, the cliffhanger! 😭 Emotional, honest, and beautifully written, it is the kind of ending that makes you simultaneously sob and scream for the next book. Caitlyn P. Tajon has a way of writing that lingers, and Red Flagged is absolutely proof that I’m completely, utterly obsessed with this series. ❤️🔥📖
I’ve loved following along with this series through the ARCs. It truly feels like such an honor to get to read them early, and I’m so ready, and also nervous, for the last chapter of this story.

Red Flagged is the most emotionally gripping installment of the Speed Demons series so far. Auri and Cal have conquered sabotage, scandal, and the glare of the spotlight, but nothing prepares them—or the reader—for the heartbreak and resilience at the core of this book.
This story digs deep. When tragedy strikes, their love is pushed to its absolute limits, forcing them to navigate grief, uncertainty, and the fragile process of healing. Their summer escape to Greece adds a gorgeous contrast—sunlit days, quiet nights, and the kind of stillness that makes rebuilding possible.
Auri and Cal continue to shine as a couple worth rooting for. He’s a legend fighting for what comes next, and she’s determined to change the sport from the inside out. Together, they’re fierce, loyal, and painfully real. The obstacles they face—family pressure, relentless media, and their own fears—make every victory feel earned.
Tender, powerful, and beautifully layered, Red Flagged tackles infertility, loss, and hope with care and honesty. It’s the kind of book that stays with you long after the final page.
A must-read—just be sure to follow the series order for maximum impact.
Caitlyn Tajon has done an incredible job crafting this series from start to finish. Not only does she deliver a powerful, emotional story, but she also shows real care for her readers by providing clear trigger content and prioritizing mental-health awareness. It’s rare to find an author who is both deeply talented and genuinely thoughtful, and Caitlyn strikes that balance beautifully.
Her explanations about her writing process and the intention behind this series add an extra layer of connection—you can feel how much heart she’s poured into every book. Watching Auri and Cal grow through each installment has been unforgettable, and while I’m eagerly anticipating the next book, I already know I’ll be sad to see this series come to an end.
Caitlyn Tajon has created something truly special.
A love that will stop at nothing, even the red flags of F1.
Red Flagged is the emotional breaking point of the Speed Demons series, where love, grief, pressure, and legacy collide in the most raw and human way. This is book four in a continuing series, so you’ll want to read the previous books first to fully appreciate the depth of Auri and Cal’s journey.
Once rivals, Aurelie and Callum have built a life together in the high-octane world of Formula 1. Now publicly a couple, they face the highs and lows of fame, racing politics, and systemic misogyny, all while fighting for their future, both on the track and in their personal lives. Auri’s determination to change the male-dominated culture of F1 is inspiring, and Cal’s unwavering support makes him one of the strongest MMCs you’ll ever read.
This book is intense, emotional, and beautifully written. The authors handle themes of endometriosis, infertility, and miscarriage with brutal honesty and care, making these moments deeply impactful and, for some readers, very personal. There are also discussions of sabotage, assault, and the crushing weight of fame, so check content warnings before diving in.
Despite the heartbreak, there’s hope. Auri’s Frenglish quirks are delightful, and the spice? Completely open-door, extended, and scorching hot, Cal and Auri can’t keep their hands off each other, and their intimacy feels both passionate and tender.
Red Flagged gutted me in the best way. It’s a story about staying united when life throws every red flag imaginable in your path. Emotional, intimate, and impossible to put down, this might be the most powerful book in the series. If you love F1 drama, fierce heroines, devoted heroes, and French as the language of love, the Speed Demons series is a must-read. Book five can’t come soon enough.

This installment feels like the moment the entire Speed Demons series shifts on its axis. The tone darkens, the stakes spike, and every emotion hits sharper than before. It’s the book where fractures become turning points, and where love, pressure, and legacy collide in the most breathtaking way. . What makes this story unforgettable is how it blends destruction with healing. Set against a blistering summer and the ruthless world of motorsport, Auri and Cal navigate fear, ambition, and devotion with a rawness that feels deeply human. Auri keeps fighting for her place in a sport determined to underestimate her, while Cal remains steady, loyal, and quietly intense — the kind of MMC who grounds the chaos with one look. Add in political F1 twists, FIA drama, sharp banter, and intimacy that’s both tender and feral… and suddenly every chapter feels like a scene from a high-budget sports drama. . This book sent me into an emotional spiral — I cried, laughed, cursed, and whispered-screamed into a pillow more times than I can admit. And that cliffhanger? It didn’t tease; it taunted. Red Flagged is the fourth book in the series, and absolutely not a standalone. To feel every hit, heartbreak, and triumph, you need the full journey… and trust me, it’s worth every second. —————————————————————————————— Add #RedFlagged if you love: 🏁 rivals to lovers 🏎️ requited love 🏁 forbidden desire 🏎️ bad ass FMC 🏁 found family 🏎️ forced proximity 🏁book four cliffhanger . Please Check Trigger Warnings before reading this book! It covers heavy topics such as: infertility + PCOS, miscarriage, complex family dynamics, biting + marking, severe anxiety rep (both MMCs), thoughts of self harm, sexual assault (off page mention). If you are in a mental space to handle that then proceed to my review.
This book is the 4th book in the speed demons series by Caitlyn P. Tajon and the series must be read in order. Otherwise you will not fully understand the story.
Red Flagged was a masterpiece and Caitlyn has done it again. No seriously this series just keeps getting better and better. Auri and Callum continue to be the it couple on the grid. The couple that are both badass in their own rights. Determined to dismantle the institution that is the FIA. This is not revenge it’s a revolution. Thrown in a head over heels MMC who stands by his woman while she goes scoured earth. Sign me up! I was blown away at how well the heavier themes were woven into the plot in such a way that was heartbreaking and cathartic at the same time. The words on this page might as well be considered poetry because of how well it was written and moved me. I related all too well to some of the things Auri endures in this book. This book both broke me and healed me and I loved every second of it. No seriously this book was a book that changed me. It will be one of my Roman Empire series for years to come. Again please check trigger warnings before reading any of the books in this series!

Auri and Cal… my poor, precious speed demons. They’ve already been through hell in this series, but THIS BOOK? This book drags them through fire and somehow they still come out holding each other. It’s intimate and vulnerable in a way that made my chest ache. Their love is bruised but unshakeable—the type of love that isn’t shiny or easy, but CHOICE after choice to stay, to try, to believe.
The tragedy that hits them?? I had tears in my actual eyes. You could feel the weight, the silence, the grief sitting between them like a living thing. And Cal—my GOD, Cal—this man loves with a depth that is almost painful. And Auri? She’s all steel and softness, and watching her fight her way through the darkness was so achingly HUMAN.
And then we go to Greece… Sun-drenched days, long quiet nights, the kind of healing that feels slow and real and raw. I swear those chapters felt like taking a deep breath after drowning.
But of course the world won’t let them heal in peace—family expectations, vicious headlines, the endless pressure of legacy and career. It all claws at them, threatening to rip open wounds that barely healed. And STILL they keep choosing each other. STILL they keep fighting. STILL they keep loving.
This isn’t fluffy romance. This is two people clinging to each other through the worst and somehow finding a future anyway. It’s emotional, heavy in the best way, and absolutely worth every tear.
Caitlyn P. Tajon writes like she’s holding your hand and breaking your heart at the same time. Her portrayal of infertility, grief, and healing is tender and devastating and REAL. Please check trigger warnings—but please also know this book is full of so much love it glows.
