Deeply and furiously done with love and frustratingly close to retirement. She can taste the heartbreaking ending on her tongue. Her final arrow is poised and ready to fly. If only her final target would get their head out of a book long enough for the arrow to strike.
Ira, the bane of Cupid’s current existence, refuses to fall for anyone. Cupid might have a bittersweet view of love now, but she’s never failed an assignment before.
Out of options and wanting to finally be at Cupid takes matters into her own hands. With hatred tucked beneath her wings, she travels down to Earth with the sole purpose of finding Ira the love of their life.
Oh, yes, Cupid is over love. But it’s never been her story before.

Can we talk about love? I'm dying to talk about love.
Hi! Thank you for reading my books! No need to wait to post a review, I'm not fussy about reviews before publish date as I will run from GoodReads so fast xxxxx
Poetic phrasing with representation and diversity makes this short read tear at your heartstrings. The yearning for each other and coming to terms with love, the banter, and the way a Cupid falls for something considered forbidden, will have a place in my heart for a long time.
Regrettable Regards is such a cute novella filled with yearning and love. It has 130 pages and I highlighted so many quotes. It's poetic. It's meaningful. Like any novella, I obviously want more, because I didn't want their story to end.
Cupid was adorable with her banter and trying to blend in with humans. Ira was also just as endearing. Both MCs are hilarious with their humor and quips Both MCs are complex, deep characters. Ugh, I loved this so much. I also love that Ira was HIV positive. The representation is/was needed. I've never read a book with a main character that was diagnosed with HIV. The author did an amazing job with the dialogue that surrounded that.
The whole conversation about love and what social media and dating apps has done to finding love? How it misconstrues what love is and should be? AMAZING.
I lowkey want to write fanfiction for this novella. JS Jasper.. you are ethereal.
”I want so desperately to make a fool of myself for half a chance to be what you need.”
5 stars. The chemistry and yearning between Cupid and Ira was everything! The writing is beautiful and full of heart and emotion and such good tension. I seriously loved everything about this. It’s a novella but definitely is fully fleshed out and well developed for it to be so short which was impressive. There’s great humor and banter between Cupid and Ira and the spice! *chef’s kiss* No notes. Their chemistry is off the charts and watching them fall so hard for each other was beautiful. I couldn’t get enough of this and its something I will for sure be reading again. I loved it so much and I cannot recommend it enough.
Cupid and was such the pining girl, stuck setting up love matches she disapproved of and ready to retire in the only way she knew how. She was immediately enamored with Ira, who was her last “client”. Ira was grumpy and always had their nose in a book, but came up for air around Cupid. They got some good banter going and found what they’d been looking for in each other.
Spice: 3/5
Triggers: suicidal ideation/planning, loneliness, stalking-ish (mostly for Cupid purposes)
I had to read this twice because I was so emotional. JS built such a tender, sweet relationship in this romance between a Cupid and her last assignment. Sapphic with non-binary rep, we are also gifted a cat companion with a cute name, and quips like “god is a woman and she thinks I’m hot.” Help, I love it.
Wow, I fell in love with them so hard. They're so endearing, beautiful, funny, sexy, emotional, heart-wrenching and cute, I was so enamoured right from the start and to the last word. Such a wonderful, extraordinarily lovely find!
“I like it when you say my name like that.” Cupid blinks rapidly. Ira likes blatant flirting and Cupid has no idea how to deal with it. She should update her notes or at minimum, look around and see if there’s another six-foot woman with a frown who wants to go on a date."
God this was so sweet. Top notch banter I could quote forever. <3
“I read five books, you know,” Cupid replies. She doesn’t tell Ira that three of them were picture books."
