She saw something she shouldn’t have. Now she belongs to him.
Callie I wasn’t supposed to be there. One wrong turn through the casino corridors, one open door, and suddenly I’m watching a murder happen right in front of me. Now I’m running through the back alleys of Las Vegas, trying not to die before sunrise.
But he finds me first.
Dariy Korolyov. The Bratva’s fixer. The man they send when someone needs to vanish. He doesn’t kill me. He cages me. Keeps me in his penthouse “for my own safety,” he says. But when he looks at me, I don’t see mercy. I see possession. Calculation. Hunger.
He says he’ll protect me from everyone else. But I’m starting to think the most dangerous man in this city is the one who refuses to let me go.
Because when the Bratva’s fixer decides you’re his, there’s no escape. Only surrender.
Ella Thorne writes dark, obsessive romance where the antiheroes are possessive, the passion is primal, and love is anything but gentle.
Her books are intense, fast-paced, and emotionally feral. Filled with Bratva kings, captive brides, and morally grey men who don't play fair. If you like your romance brutal, dirty, and undeniably addictive, you're in the right place.
When she’s not writing dangerously devoted book boyfriends, Ella is dreaming up new stories designed to make your pulse race and your e-reader combust.
Step into her world, if you’re ready to surrender.
She saw too much. Now she belongs to the most dangerous man in Vegas.
One wrong turn through a Las Vegas casino throws Callie into a nightmare she can’t escape. She sees something she was never meant to witness, and the man responsible doesn’t let witnesses walk away. Only he doesn’t kill her. He takes her. Dariy, the Bratva’s feared fixer, locks her in his penthouse and tells her it’s for her own protection. But the look in his eyes says otherwise. It says mine.
Callie should hate him. He’s dangerous, possessive, and tied to the same violence that destroyed her peace. Yet when he shows her unexpected kindness, she starts to see the man beneath the scars. The one who kills without hesitation but holds her like she’s the only thing keeping him alive. Every touch blurs the line between fear and want until she can’t tell which one she’s feeling.
Dariy’s world is built on control, and Callie’s presence shatters every rule he’s ever lived by. To protect her, he has to claim her completely, even when it risks everything. What begins as survival turns into obsession, and obsession starts to look a lot like love.
Callie and Dariy evolve from people shaped by fear and control into two souls learning trust through surrender. She finds strength in her vulnerability, while he discovers tenderness inside his darkness. Their connection grows out of danger and captivity, becoming a consuming bond built on devotion, protection, and the need to belong completely to one another.
A dark, steamy, forced proximity, possessive alpha Bratva romance exploring power, control, trust, vulnerability, obsession, redemption, surrender, and survival. It’s a kidnapped-but-protected, witness-to-a-murder love story where danger and desire intertwine, and two broken souls find salvation in each other when love becomes the only safe place left.
The Elevator Pitch: A dark, intoxicating Bratva romance where danger feels like destiny and love burns hotter than fear. When a woman becomes the obsession of the Bratva’s most ruthless fixer, passion and power spiral into something neither can control. It’s a tale of surrender, survival, and a love that ruins and remakes them both.
Callie has been struggling and barely managing when she walks into a room she never should have. Divy has been the fixer in his family forever but Callie shakes him to his core. When faced with the darkness in his world her fist though isn’t to save herself but her grandmother. She calls to him on a primal level and he’s determined to keep her. It’s sweet and hot the way they connect but their connection is something undeniable and beautiful.

Bred by the Bratva Fixer by Ella Thorne is a dark, fast-paced mafia romance that pulls you in from page one and doesn’t loosen its grip until the very end.
Callie is exhausted, worried about her ill grandmother, and just trying to get through another shift at the Las Vegas casino where she works. One wrong delivery, one open door, and her life changes forever. She witnesses something she was never meant to see—and suddenly survival becomes her only goal.
Enter Dariy Korolyov.
As the Bratva’s fixer, Dariy is the man sent to clean up messes and make problems disappear. Callie expects death. Instead, she gets protection… the kind that feels a lot like captivity. He keeps her close, locked away in his penthouse, insisting it’s the only way to keep her alive. But when their eyes meet, something shifts. What should have been fear turns into connection, and control slowly gives way to something deeper and far more dangerous—feelings.
What makes this story so compelling is the chemistry. Callie isn’t weak or passive; she’s scared, yes, but also perceptive and resilient. Dariy is intense, calculating, and morally gray, yet there’s a careful restraint in how he treats her that makes their dynamic feel grounded in choice and trust as it develops. Their relationship grows from circumstance into devotion, blurring the lines between protection, possession, and love.
Ella Thorne excels at writing flawed characters you can’t help but root for. She builds tension effortlessly, layering danger, desire, and emotional connection into a story that’s both dark and deeply satisfying. Despite the high stakes and morally gray choices, the romance delivers a true happily-ever-after that feels earned.
As the second book in the Bratva Las Vegas series, Bred by the Bratva Fixer is a standout—gripping, steamy, and impossible to put down. If you love mafia romance with danger, obsession, and a love born from the worst possible moment, this is one you don’t want to miss.

Cocktail waitress Callie is trying to deliver a VIP order when she gets lost. She opens the wrong door at the wrong time and sees Bratva fixer Dariy execute a man. When he notices Callie, he knows there are only two paths available: kill her or kidnap her. After choosing to take her home with him, they both surrender to their mutual desire. Callie’s in for a rude awakening the next morning, though, when she discovers their intimate moments and words may have had a bigger impact on her than Dariy. He still doesn’t trust her and that breaks her heart. Can Callie prove her trustworthiness? Can Dariy find a way to believe her?
I’ve never read a book from this author but I certainly will read more because I loved this one. I admit I was expecting a “fluffier” story — all heat, no heart — but this was anything but. The smexy scenes felt like natural progressions of the plot and not just jammed in there because it’s expected. That’s not to say those scenes weren’t smoking hottt because they definitely were 🥵. I also liked that the dirty talk didn’t feel like “whoa, where did that come from?” It fit with Dariy’s character and the gritty world he came from.
Lest you think I only loved Dariy (because boy, did I love him and his possessiveness!), I really liked Callie as well. Often with these kinds of stories, the woman is some version of a damsel in distress. Callie’s life was hard and lonely but she did not need a man to sweep in and save her. She was a strong woman — she literally stared death in the face — and she had no problem saying exactly what was on her mind, even when it scared her.
The only detail that stood out to me as odd was the silencer business. It was definitely 🥵 when they played with it later in the story, but Dariy wouldn’t have been able to lay it against Callie’s thigh when they first met without severely burning her.
In any case, like I said, this is my first read from this author, but I’m already adding her back catalogue to my TBR list.

Wrong place, wrong time—and oh boy, does it hit. Yes, it’s a familiar setup in the mafia (sorry, Bratva) romance world, but the way Dariy looks at Callie and decides to keep her instead of kill her, makes you forget you’ve seen this scenario before. Callie is running on fumes, juggling soul-crushing casino shifts and daily visits to her grandmother in a care facility she can barely afford. Exhaustion leads her down the wrong corridor, to the wrong door, and straight into a nightmare she can’t walk away from. The scene where Callie fully expects to die, asking only that Dariy look after her grandmother, is quietly devastating. No bargaining. No hysterics. Just resignation. And somehow, that’s what saves her. Instead of a bullet, she ends up in Dariy’s penthouse. Yet, even he doesn’t quite understand why he spared her. Maybe it was her calm acceptance, maybe the way she refused to beg, but he definitely can’t ignore the pull between them. Callie is just as baffled. How can a Bratva fixer, a man who kills without hesitation, make her feel safer than anyone ever has? The chemistry between them is feral. Dariy may not fully trust her, but his desire is all-consuming: “I want you. Every part of you. But that is going to look like obsession and possession and claiming you every godforsaken second of the day and night.” Whew. You can practically feel the heat radiating off the page. Best of all, Callie is no shrinking violet. She’s more than capable of standing toe-to-toe with Dariy, inside and outside the bedroom. Brave, resilient, and fully prepared for everything that comes with being a Bratva wife. And if that future happens to include a little breeding? Well… Callie isn’t complaining. 😉. Bred by the BRATVA Fixer is everything I want from a dark mafia romance and more. Ella Thorne delivers a story that is intense, addictive, and impossible to put down. From the first chapter the tension grabs you and never lets go. The chemistry is explosive and the emotional pull is just as strong as the heat.
What really stood out to me was how immersive the world felt. The BRATVA atmosphere in Las Vegas is gritty, dangerous, and seductive without feeling overdone. The characters feel fully alive, especially the fixer. He is ruthless and commanding but layered in a way that keeps you hooked and invested. The heroine holds her own and brings real emotion and depth to the story, which makes their dynamic even more compelling.
The writing flows beautifully and keeps the pacing tight. Every scene feels purposeful and the buildup is done so well that the payoff hits hard. It is dark, possessive, and unapologetically intense, exactly what fans of this genre are looking for.
If you love high stakes romance, powerful mafia men, and stories that consume your thoughts long after you finish, this book is a must read. Ella Thorne absolutely nailed it and I will be grabbing the next book without hesitation. Five stars all the way.

This dark mafia romance is intense, fast-paced, and very much an instalove story—but it stands out in an unexpected way. Beneath all the danger, power, and high-stakes drama, the male main character has a genuine soft spot for grannies, which adds an oddly touching and human layer to his character. The story moves quickly and is packed with plot, making it an engaging and easy read if you enjoy dense, no-nonsense romances that don’t linger too long on slow buildup. While the romance develops rapidly, it fits the tone of the book and works well within the genre. What really impressed me, though, was that the book also touches on an important and often overlooked topic: how access to good care—especially when you’re sick or elderly—can depend heavily on money and social status. That theme adds surprising depth and gives the story more weight than you might expect from a dark mafia romance. Overall, this was an enjoyable, intense read with heart, tension, and a meaningful underlying message. Definitely worth picking up if you like fast, emotional mafia romances with a twist.

Look, survival instincts are real, but this logic had me raising an eyebrow. 😂
Bred by the Bratva Fixer is book two and unfortunately it didn’t quite hit the same way as Adrik’s story for me.
The premise is… a choice. Callie witnesses a murder and somehow lands on “marriage and babies with the murderer” as the safer option. I get it — desperate times, desperate measures — but the internal logic feels shaky at best. 🤔 It’s hard to fully invest in a love story when the foundation is essentially “this was better than dying.”
Dariy also just didn’t do it for me the way Adrik did. And without a MMC I’m rooting for, the instalove falls flat. What’s there between them reads more like lust escalating into obsession and possession than anything that genuinely felt like love — and for instalove to work in a novella format, you need to feel it. I didn’t quite get there here.
Not a bad read, just the weakest entry in the series so far for me. Ella Thorne’s writing is still easy and pacey — I’ll keep going with the brothers — but this one was a step down from book one. 🤷🏾♀️

*Dariy- 37, Experienced *Calle- 22, experience? She made a comment alluding to having s*x before. She didn't have time for school or a life, so when would she have time for certain activities. Her being a V would have been more believable! *No OM/OW drama. However, we got to meet a nurse he was with a year ago. She didn't cause any problems but she was frosty to Callie. I could have done without that part of the story, especially Dariy explaining that yes the nurse is familiar with a certain body part of his! Pass!!! *Safe Read *HFN, epilogue was only 2 weeks out at their wedding.
I am not quite sure if I liked the story or just thought it was ok. I really didn't feel a true love connection between the two. Lust, absolutely. It was one like they had to be together because there was no other way if she wanted to live and they were ok with it because they were great in bed together. Also, the brother's reaction/acceptance of Callie seemed lack luster.

Know your triggers before you start this book as it deals with heavy themes with much detail.
This is another great book by Ella Thorne, and oh boy does she deliver on a steamy, dark, suspenseful, gritty love story that will have you consuming all the pages in this book.
It all starts when Callie is a witness to a crime, and meets Dariy the executer. He does not get rid of her, instead brings her with him to his place and keeps her captive while showing her kindness, care, compassion. He is compelled by her, he sees the strength in her, her courage, her compassionate side, but also recognizes the struggle, her tiredness, and offers to care for her, to show her what she is worth, and oh boy do they get hot and steamy. He goes OTT on her, he wants to possess her, consume her, and claim her as is. But there is so much more in his dark world that he will explore with her, and you will have to read to see how dark he will get when it comes to claiming her
A great read!!.

Bred by the Bratva Fixer is a second book of the Bratva Las Vegas series, and follows the story of MFC Callie in a short, dark, high steam romance. After a long day sitting with her ill grandmother tired Callie arrives at the Casino where she works and ends up delivering drinks to the wrong private room and becomes witness to something she shouldn’t have seen. The killer decides to take Callie with him instead of silencing her which turns this story into some pretty kinky consensual woo hoo! Of course this could have worked out differently if Callie, and as she comes to learn Fixer for the Bratva Dariy Korolyov hadn’t made a connection when their eyes locked in that room. A good nicely written smutty read, my favorite kind, and this one met expectations! HEA
Mind those author trigger warnings.

Bratva romance. Callie is a young woman working hard as a waitress in a casino to pay her grandmother's medical bills. One night, while working overtime, she accidentally enters the wrong room. There, she meets Dariy, who has just killed a man in cold blood inside the casino. She thinks he's going to kill her, but as a final favor, she asks him to take care of her grandmother, and her whole world changes. Dariy is a cold and calculating Bratva man. But when the beautiful waitress enters the wrong room and thinks only of her grandmother instead of saving her own life, he knows he would do anything for her. Will Callie and Dariy have a beautiful love story, or will they struggle to trust each other and miss out on their chance….

Another enjoyable novella in this series, with a fast-paced but engaging plot. The connection between Dariy and Callie leans into emotional depth rather than just physical attraction, with both characters bringing fears and reservations that shape their dynamic. Dariy’s lack of trust contrasts well with Callie’s hurt and isolation, creating tension that adds to their development. Watching that trust begin to form in such a short time is interesting but not unrealistic within the novella format. The inclusion of some conflict between them adds to the emotional weight, and their eventual acknowledgment of the importance of their bond feels satisfying. Overall, an enjoyable installment that continues the series’ focus on emotional connection, even within a shorter and faster-paced story.
Ella Thorne is one of my must read authors. She know how to grab onto a reader from the 1st page to the last. She takes time to properly introduces her characters and tell their stories. Her characters are so very delightfully flawed that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. The story of Dariy and Callie is one of being in the wrong place at the wrong time to see something that shouldn't have been seen. The story developes and leads to a love of a lifetime. This is an excellent 2nd book in the Bred by the Bratva series. You don't want to miss this one!.

The world building was excellent and impressive. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. The characters were very appealing and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Luv this series! Enjoyed immensely and thoroughly and highly recommend.

Dariy Korolyov, is the fixer for his Pakhan and cousin, Adrik (Bred by the BRATVA Billionaire), he is in the middle of taking care of a problem when he is seen by Callie and employee of the casino. He knows he should kill her but there is something about her, he knows he cannot, he brings her to his penthouse instead.

Dariy is what we expect him to be in the beginning.
But even he is not prepared for who he is in the end.
Carrie's acceptance in the face of death, both stuns the reader, and Dariy himself. All she asked when expected to breathe her last, was to look after her grandmother. Expecting nothing, she still bravely, hopefully asked.
There are moments in this book that might be disturbing to some, so keep that in mind when reading it.
These characters will stay with you; deep, haunting. Tug at you when you least expect it. New book boyfriends to sizzle your senses.
Book two in this series starts as brother Dariy, who is the fixer of the Korolyov family and Callie a waitress working herself to the breaking point come face to face in the most life altering of ways. The connection is deep; the chemistry is hot enough to singe your pages and the future they start tilts both of their worlds. A must read for those who like to see the Bratva bad boys brought to their knees. "This is my honest review of an advanced reader copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily."
One minute your working and the next your witnessing a murder and getting to know the Bratva Fixer intimately. The way this couple's relationship developed was a lot of fun to read. The way they circled each other testing one another. I enjoyed reading this instant chemistry between these two main characters. The chemistry was off the charts and the way these two fell for one another made for a really good read!!
Callie lives to serve her grandmother and when she walks in on something she should not have seen her only thought is about her grandmother. Dairy knew that he should have taken Callie out but something about her lights a spark and that spark starts them on one heated journey of exploration. Will their heated spark be the flame that leads them to happiness. This heartfelt story kept me glued to the pages.

Do you like your men obsessed, possessive, alpha male, "touch her and die", and so desperate and determined to make her his and breed her? If yes, then his book needs to be on your reading list. Throw in a little OTT for good measure, bratva/mafia references and steamy scenes too to this fab shorter read. Oh Callie, what are you in for with Dariy??.

I will never be the same after reading this 🫠. Dariy and Callie were off the charts hot and steamy. Hot dang I can’t think of words to describe what I just read. All I know it was packed with lots of steam 🥵. It was soo freaking good for a quick read.

Bred by the Bratva Fisxer is the second book in the Las Vegas Bratva series by Ella Thorne. Ella Thorne is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. This is a fast pace sexy romance between Callie and Dariy Korolyov, the fixer. Hot! Hot! Hot!.

This was a fast-paced, steamy Mafia read packed with suspense and emotion. It beautifully highlighted the fierce love of a granddaughter willing to risk everything to protect her Grandmother, while the powerful “bad guy” fell hard and proved just how far he’d go for her. Intense, engaging, and impossible to put down, it delivered drama, danger, and devotion in a quick, satisfying read.
When being at the wrong place at the wrong time works out in the end!
He's keeping her! He's not unaliving this witness because she's got more spine than most and what he wants most is to make all her dreams come true. He takes care of all of her needs but trust will be the hardest to relinquish. He's obsessed so he won't stop until she's possessed.
A short and very volatile book. The couple had tons of chemistry and their story gave us a happily ever after. In keeping with the author previous works, it was a fast paced and enjoyable read. There is a bonus epilogue available.
