🫧 Vibes: taking over the family empire
🎶 Song: champagne problems - taylor swift
📚 Would I recommend? YES
💬 tldr thoughts: this series is so underrated and more people should be reading it!!

In the package:
📦 family dynasty
📦 boss x footballer
📦 drama
📦 billionaire FMC
📦 2nd book in the series

Plot: The second book follows Vee as she fights to protect her position and legacy within the Coopers organization while dealing with the turmoil from book 1 (keeping this spoiler free). While some are supportive of her, not everyone in the family business agrees with her choices.

Thoughts: oh my goshhhh. I said this last time but I need the next book after that cliffhanger. I was actually so convinced I figured it out but I was so wrong. I devoured this in two sittings. This book is filled with more family drama as Vee is now the CEO of the family-owned football team. She's resilient and doesn't take shit from anyone, despite working in a misogynistic environment dominated by men. I loved seeing her and Fin's relationship evolve in this second book and how he continuously showed up for her time and time again. I'm just obsessed with this series, I love sports romance books but this one blends family business and drama with high stakes which makes it extra juicy. You can't trust anyone 👀

Thank you Hambright PR and Aleatha Romig for the eARC!

This book made it so easy to get completely lost in the story.

It’s more than just a sports romance, with layers of power struggles, family drama, and secrets that keep everything tense and unpredictable. Every chapter feels like it’s building toward something bigger, and when the twists hit, they really land. I had so much fun getting swept up in all the chaos and high-stakes energy.

Vee continues to shine as such a strong and resilient FMC. Watching her fight to hold her place in a world that constantly challenges her made me root for her even more. And Fin… he’s that steady, supportive presence you can’t help but love. Their second chance romance feels emotional and grounded, with just enough tension and history to make every moment between them feel meaningful.

The mix of romance, drama, and suspense made this such an addictive read. I flew through it because I needed to know what would happen next, and even when I thought I had things figured out, it still managed to surprise me.

I’m excited to see where the story goes from here.

This isn’t just a sports romance. This is power, legacy, secrets, and emotional warfare wrapped in designer suits and stadium lights. It feels like stepping into a glittering empire where everyone smiles with their teeth while hiding knives behind their backs. And I ate it UP.

The tension?? Off the charts. Every chapter feels like it’s vibrating. You know something is about to explode, you just don’t know when or how bad the fallout is going to be. And when the truths start peeling back… wow. The drama is rich, messy, and deliciously toxic in the best way.

And FIN. GRIFFIN. GRAHAM.
This man is a whole problem. A walking, talking, heartbreak-inducing, swoon-worthy PROBLEM. The chemistry between him and the Vee is not just “sparks flying” — it’s a full-blown electrical storm. The kind that fries logic and leaves you making terrible decisions… and rooting for them anyway.

Second chance romance is already my weakness, but this?? This is second chance with history, baggage, power imbalance, AND stakes so high they’re practically suffocating. Every interaction between them feels loaded. Every glance, every touch… it all means something.

And can we talk about the Vee for a second? Because I LOVED her. She’s navigating a world that was never built for her to succeed in, surrounded by men who underestimate her, and she’s still standing there like “try me.” The pressure she’s under?? Insane. The choices she has to make?? Brutal. I felt that stress in my bones.

Also… the way Aleatha writes twists should honestly come with a warning label. Because just when you think you’ve got a handle on things—NOPE. Rug pulled. Sanity gone. Trust shattered. I literally had to stop and stare at the wall for a second like… “excuse me???”

And that ending????
ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
I have never felt so personally attacked by a cliffhanger in my life. I need the next book like I need oxygen.

If you love:
• messy powerful families
• football but make it ruthless and political
• second chance romance that HURTS so good
• jaw-dropping twists that leave you spiraling

…then welcome to your new obsession.

I’m loving how this series blends the drama of the family business, the intensity of a winning sports team, and a wonderful second chance romance!

Rushed is filled with secrets, power struggles, and betrayals. Luckily, Vee isn’t dealing with this all on her own. Fin is right there by her side, giving her a soft place to land after fighting the battles with her family over the business and more. I love how their relationship has evolved!

And this cliffhanger!?!?! I know we were warned that one was coming but I wasn’t ready for it at all! I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️

In all my favorite series, the second book is usually my favorite. The first book is really just an introduction and in the second book, you’ve built a connection to the characters, you’re deep in the plot, and the stakes are much higher. Rushed is a perfect sequel and already has me dying for book 3 in this series!

Picking up right where we left off, Vee and Fin have hashed it out and decided they can’t stay away from each other any longer. With everything out in the open, they feel free to give their love another chance and won’t let any misunderstandings get in their way this time. But when Vee arrives at the Stadium to meet with her dad and tell him about their relationship, she learns he has died in a car accident and she is now the sole owner of the Coopers organization. Over the next week, we see Vee battle her family, the coaches and the media, who feel she is not fit to run the team. With twists and turns around every corner, Vee can’t help but feel thankful to have the sexy Quarterback at her side through it all.

This was an excellent continuation of the first book. It was so great watching Vee and Fin come back to each other in the first book but watching them be completely in love and by each other’s side in the second was even better. With all the plot twists that came up, it really felt like I was reading a thriller rather than a romance. This book ended on another cliffhanger and I really don’t know what is going to happen next!

If chaos had a heartbeat, it would sound like Rushed… and its pulse is named Vee.

Rushed delivers a high-stakes, emotionally loaded ride that had me gripping the pages like it was the final seconds of a tied game. Aleatha Romig really said “no peace for you” and meant it.

Vee is that girl. Not just surviving in a ruthless, male-dominated football empire… but stepping into it like she’s ready to rewrite the rules. Watching her juggle legacy, betrayal, and the weight of her family’s secrets felt like witnessing a queen walk straight into a battlefield in heels. Every decision she makes? High risk, high consequence.

And then there’s Fin… Griffin Graham.
Certified problem. Elite quarterback. Walking temptation wrapped in unresolved history.

Their second-chance romance is pure combustion. Not soft. Not easy. It’s tension, longing, and the kind of chemistry that feels like it might ruin them both… and you’re rooting for it anyway.

What earned every single star:
• Twists that hit like a last-minute game-winning drive
• A heroine (Vee!!) who refuses to be sidelined
• Romance that burns hot but cuts deep
• Secrets that unravel at the worst possible moment
• And that cliffhanger… emotionally illegal

This isn’t just football. It’s power. It’s legacy. It’s war dressed up in designer suits and stadium lights.

Final verdict:
Obsessive. Explosive. Completely unputdownable.

And yes… I’ve been Aleatha’d and I may never recover.

I was given this arc on behalf of Hambright PR!

This series just keeps getting better and better!! Just when you think you know what is going to happen in comes the plot twist! I cannot get enough of Vee and Finn. I need more! I cannot wait for book 3 to come out this summer!

At the end of book one we find out they Reid was killed in a horrific car accident. This book takes you through the days after finding everything out, up until the funeral! There is spice, there is tension and of course there is family drama! It wouldn't be the coopers without drama! I have so many questions about Grant snd Daphne, but I guess I have to try to be patient and wait!!! Also BRE?! How is this going to play out?!

This book is addictive and compelling, and I devoured this book, loving every moment.

Until the cliffhanger I knew was coming, still blindsided me and left me craving to read the next book.

The dysfunction, secrets, maneuvering and the potential for backstabbing in the Hubbard/Marsh family is much more evident in this second book. With the sudden power vacuum in the family it’s clear the next books in the series are going to be appointment reading for me. I’m so eager for the next books!

This book includes a depth of football not typically included in sports romances, and I loved that deep dive into terminology, game play and the dynamics of everything surrounding the game. Seeing Vee gain confidence in her competency is fun to see. I think she’s definitely going to be a powerhouse in the last half of this series.

This series!!! I cannot get enough of it, just when I think I know where it is going, bam the author blows me away and that ending....book 3 can't come fast enough. This book continues the story of Vee and Fin, he's the quarter back of the football team that her family owns. The twists and turns this story takes had me reading any chance I got. This book continues on with the family thee and the drama and complexities that come along with it. Such a well written series and I cannot wait to see where it goes from here. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book for my honest opinion.

Continuing from Intercepted and yes, this is another win for me.

I really enjoyed this. Vee was so strong and resilient here, i loved seeing her growth. Fin was everything, caring, kind, supportive, and just so steady.

I also liked the mix of grief, drama, romance, family feud, and a bit of suspense. It kept things interesting.

Now i just need the next book asap!!!

Oh my goodness! Aleatha Romig never fails to bring in a well written book that has a multi layered plot and strong, interesting charaters, and Rushed more than delivers on every front! Vee is reeling, as are we, from the news at the end of Intercepted, and, picking up from that point we are treated to a fast moving story which just becomes more and more intriguing with each page. Having the dual POV, further enhanced my reactions to everything I was reading and I already want to see some comeuppances happen!!
Being a Brit and knowing/understanding very little about American football, I found the detail of play both confusing and interesting! So complicated!! But it all served to add another layer of richness to the story and underline the size of the role Vee is taking on her shoulders.
With another astounding cliffhanger Aleatha has again delivered a fabulous, immersive read. I cannot wait for what happens next!! 💖💖💖💖💖

Aleatha did me dirty again… And I’d still crawl back for more

4.75 ⭐️ | 3.5 🌶️

I swear I know better by now. I KNOW what Aleatha Romig does. And yet here I am, emotionally wrecked, pacing my room, and side-eyeing my Kindle like it personally betrayed me. Because that ending? Absolutely criminal.

Rushed picks up right where the chaos exploded in book one, and from the very first pages, it’s clear this isn’t just a continuation; it’s a full-blown escalation. The stakes are higher, the tension sharper, and the emotional punches hit way harder. Vee’s world is cracking open, and watching her navigate the fallout is equal parts gripping and stressful (in the best way).

Vee remains that powerhouse FMC we fell for: sharp, resilient, and completely unwilling to be steamrolled by a system designed to keep her quiet. She’s not just surviving in this ruthless, testosterone-fueled football empire; she’s challenging it. And honestly? Watching her step into her power while everything around her threatens to implode is incredibly satisfying.

And then there’s Fin.

Griffin “Fin” Graham is that kind of man: the calm in the storm, the grounding force when everything spirals. Their chemistry? Still very much alive and kicking. It’s not just heat; it’s history, tension, vulnerability… all wrapped up in a connection that feels inevitable and dangerous at the same time. The romance here leans more emotional than physical, but when the spice does show up? Oh, it delivers.

What really got me, though, is the layering. This isn’t just a sports romance; it’s power plays, family secrets, shifting loyalties, and a constant sense that no one is fully trustworthy. Every chapter feels like it’s building toward something bigger… and just when you think you’ve got a handle on things, boom. Aleatha pulls the rug out from under you.

Again.

I won’t spoil anything, but let’s just say: that twist? I audibly gasped. Possibly yelled. Definitely questioned my life choices.

This book is raw in a quieter way: less about explosive drama and more about emotional depth, loyalty, and the kind of love that shows up even when everything is falling apart. It’s about standing your ground, choosing your battles, and holding onto the one person who might just be your safe place in the middle of a war.

Bottom line: addictive, intense, and impossible to put down. And yes, I am once again begging for the next book like my sanity depends on it.

Because apparently… I have been Aleatha’d.

A huge thank you to Hambright PR for sending me an eARC of Rushed, I’m so grateful to have had the chance to dive into this one early. And congratulations to Aleatha Romig on the upcoming release on April 6th: this installment is absolutely going to live up to (and maybe even surpass) the hype of book one.

Genres: Sports Romance, Football Romance
Tropes: Second Chance, Football Player/Owner, Hurt/Comfort, Secrets, Lies, Betrayal, Alpha Hero, Strong Heroine, Suspense, High Stakes
MC: Vee (FMC), Fin (MMC)
Setting: Lexington, Kentucky
Triggers: parental death, backstabbing
Epilogue: No, Cliffhanger

Synopsis: After her father’s sudden death, Vee is thrust into chaos as she manages media attention, team responsibilities, and the emotional weight of his funeral and estate. When his outdated will names her as CEO and sole heir, her family pressures her to step aside, claiming he intended to make changes. At the same time, a tabloid exposes her relationship with Fin, forcing them to go public as he supports her through the turmoil. As questions arise about the crash that killed her father, Vee learns she could be held liable if he is found at fault, especially after an autopsy reveals unknown medication in his system. The situation becomes even more complicated when she discovers her father was living a double life, leaving her to wonder what other secrets he kept. Amid the tension, the team secures an important win while Fin deals with an injury. But as the investigation into her father’s death deepens, new revelations come to light that could drastically change Vee’s future.

Thoughts: Pardon my French, but “Fuck, I knew it!” was a direct quote from my mouth about a certain bun in the oven. However, Aleatha still managed to surprise me with what followed. I’m not sure where things are headed next, but I have a feeling someone is being set up, and Vee may end up getting pulled into it. Throughout the book, I thought Fin did a great job redeeming himself from his past mistakes. He really showed up as a strong partner for Vee, stepping in and supporting her when she needed it most. Vee went through so much, but she also proved just how strong and capable she truly is. I’m very curious to see who she appoints as CEO. Hopefully herself, because at this point, I don’t think she can fully trust anyone in her family. They only seem more suspicious with every interaction. I’m also still wondering about Vee’s mom. We got hints that she may have wronged Vee’s father, and I feel like there is more to that story. There are so many moving parts, and I have a feeling even more shocking revelations are coming. I love the continued suspense and can’t wait to see how everything comes full circle.

“Rushed” is the second book in Aleatha’s new series “The Coopers.” This a second chance sports romance wrapped in betrayal, dynasty drama, and high-stakes romantic suspense set in the seductive, cutthroat world of professional football. This book will not disappoint….for the record, it does end on a cliffhanger, again….

With the death of Vee’s dad, Reid, killed in a car accident on his way to work, her world is shattered. Thankfully, she has Fin….he is her rock, a shoulder to cry on and her strength. A football dynasty built on power, money, and secrets….now these secrets are unraveling. The truth about her family threatens everything from the franchise to the locker room. This isn’t just football. It's an empire. It's a legacy. It’s war.

Fin was her past….her second chance….now he is her future. He is the only person she fully trusts with her future and the future of the franchise on the line. With the NFL being a boys club, certain family members are not happy with Vee being the sole beneficiary of Reid Hubbard’s empire and the Lexington Coopers Football team. “The woman I loved was carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. She might hide it from everyone else, but it was as bright as a neon sign to me.”

There is never a dull moment! This book is everything you expect from a sports romance with a touch of alpha male thrown in. I’m very happily hooked - I did not want it to end! Once I started reading, I could not put this book down! At times you will laugh, you will cry, get angry and frustrated - most of all, you will love the twists! This book will charm “the pants off you” and leave you going back for more. This is a lovely book that will keep you hooked! It has fun, laughs, intrigue, twists that you do not expect, and physical attraction. You will fall in love with Fin and Vee.

“You’re not a mess. You’re stunning, and what makes you even more beautiful, what makes me remember all the reasons I love you, is that you’re willing to show me this side of yourself.” I kissed her nose. “Maeve Hubbard, thank you for trusting me with the real you.”

I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful love story, with all the ups, the downs, the friendship, the heartaches and most of all, what love can overcome. From page to page, chapter to chapter, from cover to cover - you will enjoy this beautiful story! This book will not disappoint! Highly recommended 😊

I could have very easily read this book in one sitting - and I would have if real life hadn't got in the way. Rushed picks up Vee and Fin's fabulous story right where Intercepted ended, and after that incredible cliffhanger, I was desperate to find out what happened next. Now that I've finished Rushed... I'm desperate all over again!

I absolutely love the anticipation and suspense that a great cliffhanger brings, and this is something Aleatha Romig does brilliantly.

The Coopers is a four-book football romance saga, and I already know I'm going to need signed copies of this series on my shelves. I'm absolutely loving learning more about the game and the behind-the-scenes running of an National Football League team. This series feels different from most sports romances I've read due to Vee being an executive within the club while Fin a player. I have to say that reading about the twists and turns life within the club brings is perfectly balanced with the romance between the couple once they've left the stadium. It's fascinating to see how they navigate it all.

I cannot get enough of either Fin or Vee. I'm so glad we still have another two books to enjoy so we can witness more incredible moments between them. Of course, there's also the club drama and suspense that keeps me desperate for more.

I found Intercepted to be fresh, emotional, and thrilling - and I named it one of my top reads of 2026. Rushed sits right alongside it. These first two books in the saga have been absolute perfection for me, and there is honestly nothing I didn't love.

Now I'm counting down the days until Sacked and Scored because I need to know what happens next.

5 stars - a top read of 2026!

Left reeling after an accident that changed everything, Vee finds herself having to make big decisions for her own future, and that of the Coopers. When secrets start coming out, she finds it hard to know who to trust, especially as those she thought were her closest allies seem more concerned about advancing their own agendas than anything else. As it’s made clear that the good ol’ boys club is alive and well, she is underestimated at every turn, but with the support of the players, she finds her strength.

Needing calm in the chaos, she leans on Fin in a way that she hasn’t allowed herself to trust anyone else in her past, and even when rumours threaten to break them apart, he shows her that this time, he plans to stay.

I received an early copy of this book from Hambright PR and boy did it ever leave my head spinning. I thought the ending of Intercepted had thrown me for a loop but this one was on a whole other level. First and foremost, I love Fin and Vee together. While they hurt each other terribly in their youth, they prove that sometimes timing is everything, and while this may seem like a terrible time to restart a relationship, I loved how seemlessly they worked together, and how Fin wordlessly gives her exactly what she needs. Despite the weight of the organization on her shoulders, Vee proves how strong she is, and finds unlikely allies to help her focus on what is important. Once again the cliffhanger ending could change everything, and I can’t wait to see what happens next when book 3 comes out in July!

Book Tropes: Young college love. Second chance romance. Sports Romance. Family legacy drama. Family secrets.

This is book #2 in the series. You do need to read Intercepted (book 1), as Rushed (book 2) picks up where Intercepted (book 1) left off.

Griffin (Fin) Graham - 36 was the back up quarterback, but after the main quarterback was injured he was moved into the starting quarterback position. He is older and a lot of the younger players do look up to him to see how he is handling the pressure. Fin is there for Vee more than her family has been. Fin wants Vee to lean on him more. They both have been trying to keep their relationship on the down low.

Maeve (Vee) Cooper - at the end of Intercepted (book 1) she just found out her father passed away in a car crash. Now, she is the new President of The NFL Coopers Football team. Her dad was in the middle of revising his will, but, he never finished the will / signed a new one. So, the will he had made when she was 11 is what the courts will honor. It turns out that her dad had some skeleton's in his closet she didn't know about. Will her family now fight to take over the NFL team from her?

Vee and Fin have decided they can’t stay away from each other any longer and are done with hiding. Most of the football team and coaches know they are together. They have been trying to stay out of the spot light with the media as they want the focus to be on her father and football team not their romance.

RUSHED ends on a cliffhanger!

Picking up right where things left off from book one (if you haven’t read Intercepted you need to asap), the tension between Vee and Fin is already there and just keeps building. Their whole situation is complicated in every way from him being the quarterback and her being the new CEO of the family-owned team, it just adds that extra layer of pressure to everything they do.

What I really liked is how much is going on around them too. It’s not just romance there’s family drama, power plays, people working behind the scenes, and you can constantly feel that something could shift at any moment. It kept me hooked because it never felt calm for long.

Their connection is still strong, but it’s not easy. There’s history, trust issues, and everything happening around them just makes it more intense. I liked that it didn’t try to smooth things over it leans into the messiness of it all.

And the way it all builds?? You can feel things getting bigger and more complicated as it goes on, especially with everything at stake for both of them. I will say… that ending 😭 I was not ready. Now I need the next book.

Thank you to the Author and Hambright PR for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

If you’re looking to read a book where you need to completely escape into a character’s life and world, this is guaranteed to do it! For me it it fulfilled that wish 10fold!
I was completely absorbed by this story from the beginning to end!
This is book 2 in the Coopers series and you really need to read book 1 Intercepted to understand the family dynamics.
That said get ready to be Aleatha’d in the most tantalizing way!

This is Vee and Fin’a story. In a stunning twist, this sultry sports romance turned into a complex and complicated story of messy family drama, intertwined with corporate legacies and second chance romance sprinkled for good measure!
Vee is back and working hard to protect the family legacy that’s she’s worked so hard to protect. Yet outside forces intervene and everything she’s worked for is at risk.
Intense, suspenseful and sinfully delicious, the built up, the tension and all the messy drama made this read sinfully delicious.
When Fin enters the picture, well things get more complicated and I can’t say more except careful who you think you can trust because things aren’t what they appear…
THEN the motherload of cliffhangers knocked. Me. Sideways!
Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Rushed was a strong continuation that felt necessary following the cliffhanger in the first book.

Rather than focusing on secrecy, the story quickly shifts into what happens after Fin and Vee’s relationship becomes public. This allowed the book to move forward without repeating the same conflict and instead explore new dynamics.

Vee’s storyline stood out the most. Navigating her father’s sudden death, dealing with the pressure of stepping into his role, and proving she is capable of leading added depth to the story.

The added mystery surrounding her father’s death brought another layer to the narrative. The discovery of benzodiazepine in his system, along with details about his personal life, created questions that kept the story engaging beyond the romance.

Fin’s role as a supportive and protective partner balanced the story well, allowing Vee’s growth to remain at the center.

Overall, this was more than just a romance continuation—it was a story about grief, responsibility, and uncovering the truth.

I’ve been on a bit of a romance kick lately, and Rushed was exactly the kind of fuel I needed.

The Characters: I’m a sucker for a complex hero, and Quinn Cooper definitely delivered. But honestly, the chemistry between the leads is what stole the show. It wasn't just physical; it was the emotional weight behind their connection that kept me flipping pages.

Pacing & Banter: The dialogue is top-tier. I love when characters actually challenge each other, and the banter here was so witty and natural. The story moves at a clip—no "middle-of-the-book slump" here! It felt focused and intentional from start to finish.

Setting & Prose: Aleatha Romig has this way of writing that feels very "big screen." The prose is conversational and immersive, and she captures the high-pressure world of professional sports so vividly without it feeling like a textbook.

Overall: A solid 4-star read that I'm rounding up because the tension was chef’s kiss. If you like your sports romance with a side of deep emotion and great pacing, don't sleep on this series.

Dang it Aleatha Romig… how many times are you gonna rip my heart out and leave me hanging like this?! 😩
Okay, buckle up because the emotional damage is REAL with this one.
After Reid’s death, everything just starts spiraling for Vee. And I mean everything. Her own family? Against her. Secrets? Still piling up like we’re not already stressed enough. And listen… I’m side-eyeing HARD because there has got to be a mole in the mix 👀
Then there’s Fin. Their relationship is finally out in the open, and I love that he’s there for her, steady and supportive when her whole world is basically crumbling. But the real question is—can Vee step into the woman her father always believed she could be?
Because things come to light… and not the cute, tidy kind. The kind that forces you to either break or fight.
And Vee? She’s standing right on that edge.
This book had me stressed, emotional, and completely hooked. The tension, the betrayal, the “who can you even trust anymore?” vibes?? Ugh, SO GOOD.
But that cliffhanger?? Ma’am. I need answers immediately because my heart cannot take this kind of abuse 😭

Rushed by Aleatha Romig is the kind of book that pulls you all the way in and doesn’t let you go.

This is a love story, a true tale of togetherness, and a deep dive into family, both the comforting side and the downright scary side. The relationships feel real, layered, and sometimes intense in a way that keeps you turning pages.

The football element is done right. It adds drive, structure, and energy to the story without taking away from the emotional core. You can feel the passion for the game, and it blends seamlessly with everything else.

The love is sincere and steady, not rushed, just real. And that’s what makes it hit.

When you combine all of that, the romance, the family dynamics, the tension, the football, you get what I’d call being “Aleatha’d.” Pulled into a story so completely that you don’t even realize how deep you’re in until it’s too late.

And that cliffhanger?

Whew. It will leave you needing the next book immediately.

It's definitely a 5-star read.

The saga continues.

This is a four part series, so these do NOT stand alone.

We picked up right where Book 1 ended with Vee finding out about the tragedy and the loss of her father. To say this family is complicated is an understatement, so Vee will have A LOT of emotions and allegiances to muddle through now that she is the sole owner of the Cooper franchise.

She relies heavily on Fin and thank goodness he is truly there to support her. Can't say the same for some of her blood/by marriage relatives though which is sad.

But Vee is strong and will be able to withstand whatever storms head her way.

However, there are a couple of plot twists that I didn't see coming which isn't uncommon if you've been Aleatha'd. And who is going to be the new CEO?!?

We'll have to wait for summer to find out.

Another intriguing addition to this series that I am hooked on.

I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.

Rushed is Book 2 in the Cooper Series, and this series just keeps getting better. The story picks up right where Book 1 left off, with Vee’s world turned upside down and the future of the Cooper legacy hanging in the balance.

I loved seeing Vee grow stronger as she fights to prove herself while dealing with her vulnerabilities. And Fin? He is the calm in Vee’s chaos—loyal, steady, and exactly what she needs. Their relationship development and chemistry were a highlight of the book. 🔥

This installment brings more twists, family drama, business politics, and secrets, along with the football elements that make the story even more exciting. It’s fast-paced, engaging, and I finished it in just two sittings.

And yes… that cliffhanger ending! Aleatha definitely Aleatha’d us again. Now the long wait for Book 3 begins. 📚
