Saving Earth made the Combat Salvaging Unit legendary, and they were rewarded.
When Jam and his friends kick back on the beach of their new island, they quickly learn not everything is as it seems. Prehistoric beasts refuse to share paradise, and the CSU is forced to dust off its rigs to stay alive.
Fighting for survival is nothing new to Jam and his friends, and the local wildlife doesn’t pose an unreasonable threat to mechanized combat rigs.
But when a cabal of wayward star travelers turned the island into a weapon, the CSU decides it’s their job to make things right before enjoying their retirement.
Fans of the previous Tall Boys books, The Last Reaper, Homeworld Lost, Star Blade, and Blue Sun Armada will cheer for Jam and his friends to get it right when everything goes wrong. Get in a rig if you want to live!
Scott Moon loves audio books, especially the works of George R.R. Martin, Patrick O'Brian, and Michael Connelly. He has been writing fantasy, science fiction, and urban fantasy thrillers most of his life and aims to read or listen to 100 books a year. Currently, he is a commissioned police officer serving in a street level counter drug and gang unit. Some of his most rewarding and heartbreaking work was as a detective in the Exploited Missing Child Unit. His favorite assignment is SWAT, primarily for the eighty pounds of tactical gear he gets to wear in the blazing summer heat. In 2005, he helped arrest a serial killer who had been at large for over thirty years.

It was a fun read and i always enjoy the humor. I am wondering if there will be another book in this series. I got the sense this was the end. I will be hopeful.
Good plot, character development, and conclusion. Best all round tall boy novella yet. Can’t wait for next instalment of JAMs journey to the ice cream machine
