Packed Up at Harbor U #1

An Omega’s Guide to Falling in Love

Rate this book
Posey Hale is living the dream by getting to attend Harbor University as an unbonded omega. The problem with that dream? She still has absolutely no clue what she wants to do with her life.

The thing she does want? Well, that’s sort of a secret. More of a wish than a plan. She’d never admit it to anyone, but what Posey wants to find more than anything else at Harbor U is her pack.

Only when she finally meets them, it doesn’t exactly go as planned. Between the giant baseball playing golden retriever, moody obsessive stalker, his sweet but shy twin, and the surly pack lead hell bent on keeping her away, this omega already has her hands full.

Add in a new best friend, anonymous gifts, and two surprise heats, and Posey is about to find out just how messy it can be getting Packed Up at Harbor U.

A very sweet Omegaverse romance with low drama, medium (and I think that's being generous) heat college romance, FMMMM reverse harem, and none of the swords cross. Two of them are brothers, so it's honestly kind of a good thing in this case. This Omegaverse world is very progressive and Omega's have the same rights as alphas do, and the college that they all attend is set up to accommodate that. This cute romance story has some great niche micro tropes too! Cumming in his pants just from eating her out and a virgin MMC (& FMC).
You've got your standard Omegaverse pack set up. A nerdy, uptight professor who is the head of the pack and is sensible and no nonsense. Consequently, he's the one who is anti-Omega. You have a jock-type who's kind of an oaf and lets everything slide off of him, but he's also really smart. A golden retriever, who is literally described as sunshine personified by his pack-mates. And lastly, the very emotional brooding packmate, who is frequently lowkey described as the resident bad boy. Oh! And one of the packmates is a trust fund baby, so they're loaded. Perfect cocktail of a pack honestly.

One point of irritation for me was how one of the MMC's handles his initial realization that the FMC was his scent match. It makes very little sense to me in these Omegaverse stories when one of the MMC's is like, "I don't want any Omega!" Even though it would help with their mental state (aka alpha rabidity from not having an Omega) and stop them from needing to be institutionalized when they go crazy. The solution literally drops into their laps and they're refusing to accept what is likely the easiest and best solution for them both. It's frustrating to say the least. The only upside to this story is that the dickhead who feels the need to stay away from the Omega for her own good has an excellent pack behind him and calls him out on his behavior and makes him talk things out. And they did so before things got so out of hand it didn't seem like an impossibility for him to turn things around with the FMC.

While this was a very cute college romance, it was honestly a little bit boring. There is spice in it, but the scenes lacked any real heat - just couldn't feel it while reading. Since it's a low drama story there wasn't anything particularly thrilling to keep you hooked since the spice didn't do it. Really liked the story and didn't have an issue finishing this one, but just kind of felt "meh" about it once I was done and not like I would miss any of the characters. I wouldn't say skip it, but if you're looking for low drama with more cozy feels than high heat, this might be the book for you.

There was nothing about this book that I didn’t love. It’s the perfect cosy, low angst omegaverse book filled with spice.

I thoroughly enjoyed how they each met Posey, it was beyond adorable. The storyline didn’t feel rushed and I was hooked all the way through.

Posey is the sweet and sassy FMC that’s just moved to a small town in Maine to attend college.

Mack, the adorable golden retriever alpha who’s also a baseball player. He’s also a virgin which I loved.

The twins, Parker and Paxton. Totally different personalties but both equally obsessed with Posey. Parker is a tad grumpy and has a nose ring. Paxton is sweet and slightly anxious.

Jude is the oldest at around 24, he’s also the pack lead and a professor. He’s super reluctant to have an omega because of what he’s dealing with but he does redeem himself.

Each character was so unique and they blended perfectly. The Madden pack are utterly devoted to Posey and it was so darn sweet.

There is no third act breakup, no OW drama. Just a story filled with obsessed alphas, falling over themselves to get their girl.

Thank you so much Hallie for the ARC.

ARC TIME

for the past few months I’ve had little to no motivation to read. I saw I got this arc and I was like might as well try. WHEN I SAY I COULDNT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. I MEAN IT. I was literally on vacation with my sister and she had to pry my kindle out of my hands. I read more than half of this book in one sitting. I was SO into it, I didn’t want it to end but I just wanted to keep reading. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

ARC Review

I loved this book because of all the distinct personalities! From Posey to Paxton to Parker to Mack to Jude!! I was intrigued when I saw this was a FMMMM relationship but I was surprised to learn that none of the men ‘crossed swords’ and they were all focused on Posey. I think it was so sweet that all the alphas were so in tuned with giving Posey what she needed and wanted at all times. This is the kind of devotion that every girl deserves!!

There wasn’t a single part of this book. I didn’t enjoy. It was such a bingeable read. All the personalities that made up this pack had me smiling from ear to ear while reading this book. Posey was the perfect fit for the Mack Pack. Every part of the bonding journey they had to go through had me in a chokehold. The heat was HOT 🥵. I just couldn’t put the book down. I can’t wait for book 2!

This is my first book that is primarily about Omega's and Alphas and I fell in love. This book was like a warm blanket that surrounded me. There was no drama or clique scenes. The characters were brilliantly described and I fell in love with them. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

This was such a sweet OV! I absolutely adored Posey and her guys! Mack was a complete sweetheart, Parker and Paxton were perfect as a grumpy/sunshine duo and them all falling immediately was exquisite. And then we have broody Jude and I loved watching him fight it and fall hard anyways. They fit so well with each other and make up a pretty perfect pack. The spice hits all the right notes and I love the surprise heat element!

An Omega’s Guide to Falling in Love by @authorhalliegrace
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️¼ (4.25/5)

I really enjoyed this quick, fun romp in the Harbor U omegaverse—where the alphas are swoony, the heats are sexy, and the vibes are pure chaos in the best way. It leans playful with found family and witty banter, but still delivers on the emotional beats when it counts.

Posey is sassy, a little chaotic, and trying to figure out what she actually wants now that she’s on her own for the first time. She reminded me so much of my freshman-year self—just with significantly hotter distractions. I really loved that her first meaningful relationship isn’t romantic, but her friendship with fellow omega Lainey. Every girl deserves a best friend who matches her level of weird.

Each alpha in the pack feels distinct, bringing something different to the pack.

Jude, her sexy biology professor and pack leader, is controlled and methodical—the perfect counterbalance to Posey’s chaos. I fully expected alpha-hole energy, but his distance is rooted in protecting her, which made his softer, caretaking side hit even harder.

Mack (McKenzie—obsessed with that name on a man) is the golden retriever of the group, loud in his affection and completely unafraid to claim Posey publicly. The baseball field wooing? Elite. I melted for the 6’7" hottie.

Parker was my personal favorite—a guarded grump who keeps everyone but Posey at arm’s length. He’s deeply protective, especially when it comes to making sure she isn’t overwhelmed by the intensity of the pack. And yes, I support his slightly unhinged, lightly stalker-ish tendencies.

And then there’s Paxton—sweet, romantic, and emotionally intelligent in a way that just hits. He brings a steady calm to the group… along with a very sexy, quietly dominant side (Ferris wheel scene, I see you).

Overall, this was a fun, sexy, and genuinely sweet story about finding your place, your people, and a love that fits. I’ll definitely be continuing the series.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC!

I needed this one.

**SPOILERS**

Primrose “Posey” Hale is from a small town in Georgia. She arrives at university and situates herself in a small apartment on campus. What she doesn’t realize is her scent matched pack are her neighbors. She has an unexpected heat when she arrives and her scent floods her space and invades the air vents. Her pack next door smell her immediately and are struck dumb (lol). They all contrive plots to get to know her, starting with slipping her a cute note under her door. When Posey finishes her solo heat (which was torturous) she returns to class only to be confronted by her professor who happens to be a member of the pack. He’s hostile because he’s experiencing alpha rabidity, a disease that turns alphas feral. He’s afraid of himself AND of the possibility he could hurt Posey, so he pushes her away and basically denies her presence. Meanwhile the rest of his pack are chasing Posey down and winning her over.

Eventually one of Jude’s packmates (Jude is the alpha going feral) tells Posey what’s happening to Jude and she puts on a daring sexy plan to not only win Jude over, but to get him to bond with her, since bonding a compatible omega can “cure” alpha rabidity. Her plan works, they bond, and now the pack is “together.” They all go visit her family in Georgia, she experiences her second heat but this time she has her pack with her. They all bond. The epilogue has Posey happily bonded, they pack buying her, her dream pack house and proposing to Posey.

**THOUGHTS/OPINIONS**

Sooooo…this book was probably in all honesty a 3 star review, but I gave it 4 because it came at the right time and boy did I need this read after the disastrous books that I read before it. It’s a sweet, no nonsense very little drama omegaverse. But sometimes you need that “fluff.” My brain was actually rebelling after my last 3 reads, and I was kinda getting angry at the omegaverse universe until I picked up this novel. Yes, the story is straight forward. There isn’t any drama to speak of, Posey forgives Jude pretty easily etc. but at least he apologized, and with the way the story was written he didn’t do anything remarkably damaging to Posey, so minimal grovel was fine…a just consequences for his past bad behavior. I was finished reading this book in a hot potato second and it leaves you feeling neat and sweet. Hopefully my next read with be much of the same. I honestly can’t handle anymore awful omegaverse novels right now!

This book was over the top sweet. Like give you a toothache, sweet.
You really have to be in the mood for a book like this. It’s definitely not everybody’s cup of tea, and not even in the Omegaverse world.
But if you’re in the mood for something extremely sweet and safe and wholesome and Omegaverse, than this book is for you.
Things that I liked about this book, I guess just that it was safe and sweet. I was just in the mood for it. The predictability and innocence of this book was what I needed at the moment. And the characters were nice enough and the story was fine.

All the characters were in college, and two of them were virgins, which makes sense cause they’re in college. But I did feel like the author made them come across as naïve 12-year-olds often. It wasn’t annoying enough to make me stop reading, but it was definitely noticeable. Especially the male characters.
Like they were crying more than hormonal teenagers in this book which was a little bit weird. They were overly in touch with their feelings if you get my drift.
I did feel really bad for one of the MMC‘s, Paxton, or whatever the fuck his name was. Because even now I can’t remember his name because he was basically a non-entity in the story. I’m really not sure why the author even gave him as her fourth mate because there was more focus on the other three mates than him. I felt bad for the guy honestly.
I also thought it was a bit weird that the FMC went to college where her cousin was going, a cousin that she grew up with like a sister, yet she doesn’t hang out with her cousin at all, and basically leaves her hanging. Al so that she can make a different friend whom will have the next book. It just felt weird because of her cousin being like a sister to her, but her not having any interaction with her even though they go to the same college. And the FMC literally went to that college because of her cousin.
The new friend was really nice though, so it wasn’t annoying and it definitely wasn’t the token gay best friend which I was happy with
All in all the book was enjoyable. Like I said again it’s one of those super sweet kind of ridiculous books that you really have to be in the mood for. So if you are then I would recommend it.

A Pack Worth the Heat

I loved this story so much and nearly called into work just to finish it, but alas I managed to complete it with only a few minutes to spare. Hallie Grace has once again written another masterpiece. I am a sucker for stories with a student–professor relationship, and when you throw twins into the mix as well, I’m completely sold.

Posey is an omega who leaves her ranch and family in Georgia to attend Harbor University on the coast. She claims out loud that she never wanted a pack or alphas, but deep down she secretly longs for the kind of love her parents found. Posey is such a bright and passionate character; so sweet it almost made my teeth hurt. On her very first day of class, she ends up going into her first heat and unknowingly drives her neighbors crazy with her scent.

The Madden pack consists of four incredibly sexy alphas, some more ready for an omega than others. There’s Jude, the professor, who has a chip on his shoulder and a secret that causes some issues within the pack. Mack is the huge baseball player who wears his heart on his sleeve and is deeply in tune with his emotions. Then there are the identical twins, Parker and Paxton. While they may look the same, their personalities are night and day. Parker is the perpetual grump of the group, while Paxton is a total ball of sunshine.

I loved how devoted the men were to Posey and how they embraced her sassy and bratty side. When push comes to shove, this pack is exactly what all packs should strive to be.

I can’t wait to read the next story and see who Lainey ends up packed with, she was such a fun character.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I got lucky enough to be chosen for an ARC of this and I am so freaking glad I did. I absolutely adored this book. I love a good OmegaVerse book, they can be anywhere from sweet to dark and this one was on the sweeter side with low angst.

Primrose, Posey to friends and family, is our Omega and she's moving away from home to go to college and will live on her own for the first time. Somehow she manages to get the apartment right next to her scent match Alpha's, not that she knows about either at first. We have Jude, pack lead, who's fighting going rabid but doesn't tell anyone, Mack, our athlete, who's basically a massive teddy bear, and then we have the twins Paxton and Parker who are opposites, one who is super sunny and one who, well, isn't.

Almost from the jump, the guys know that Posey is their scent match, and they try to plan "accidental" meetings so that they can get to know her. Well, except for Jude. He fights the scent match and his attraction from the very beginning, though none of the rest of the pack knows why. Once Posey meets one of them, it starts her heat waves, though she doesn't know why, as its not close to when she's supposed to go into heat. The guys know why though and they are soooo down to help. 😏😏

Eventually, Jude's condition comes to light, the guys agree to do all they can to help him and then he starts the groveling to Posey. Posey is too sweet though and doesn't let him grovel for long before she's claiming him. Then while in her full blown heat, she claims each of her other Alpha's and they her. There's are some steamy scenes, lots of cuteness and overall its just a great book that I enjoyed immensely. I can't wait to see what other stories our author will share with us in the future!

Oh! Chapter 11 is still my favorite! 😉😂

There is nothing I enjoy more than sitting down with a spicy, fun, cozy Omegaverse book and this one checked all the boxes! I absolutely adored these characters and did not want this story to end!

I enjoyed the college setting and how they met as neighbors. Add in the description that it’s in a small town near Maine and I could literally picture it as if it was real. The pack includes Jude the pack lead and who’s a few years older and working on his PhD but also dealing with a diagnosis that has him pushing Posey away at first.. (he does redeem himself eventually) Mack, the golden retriever, empathetic Alpha who’s also 6’7” baseball player. The twins who didn’t. Be more different in personality- Parker with his noose ring and gruff exterior and Paxton the sweetest, gentle soul. These Alphas were falling all over themselves for Posey- the sweet and sassy omega next door. I really enjoyed getting a POV from each character and seeing more of their traits and what makes them unique! They all have different dynamics and bring so much to the pack. She has special moments with each of them and I loved that. There is low angst but plenty of spice! I ate it up! The ending was perfect and I can’t wait for Lainey’s book next!

If you're looking for a quick, absolutely cosy, low angst omegaverse book filled with spice this is the book for you.

I could not wipe the smile off my face while reading this book, Posey was an absolute ray of georgia sunshine and she and her mates were adorable. The storyline didn't feel rushed but at the same time before you knew it the book was over.

Posey is sweet with a sassy playful side, she loves girly things and isn't afraid to be utterly herself.

Mack is the epitome of a golden retriever energy and one of the alphas for her pack. He is a baseball player for the university and will be heading to the majors. He is also, surprisingly for this type of story, a virgin.

Jude is the oldest and a brooding temporary professor while working on his PhD. He's the pack leader despite them using Mack's last name for their group and is the only one who is reluctant about taking on an omega.

Lastly we have the twins, Parker and Paxton. They are the definition of opposites but they also are both completely obsessed with Posey from the moment they can scent her.

This story is heavily character driven, the school barely registers despite being the place their story is set in and the plot is them. This is a very all about the vibes fun time book but who doesn't want that when the world is stressing enough?

There is, thankfully, no third act breakup, no overwhelming drama. This is a vibes, character fun forward story with obsessed alphas who will literally fall over themselves to get their girl and give her everything she could ever desire.

Thank you very much Hallie for the eARC. I am so excited for Lainey's book next!

This book is perfect!

Posey is entering her college days and is not prepared to be instantly swept off her feet her second week there. Granted her first week doesn't count (Can't say why!) She is as girly as you can get and it fits her and her personality.

The guys..now here is a pack that is figuring life out as they go and trying to be supportive of one another. Each one has their own quirks and habits.

Jude is hiding something from everyone and working at the college as a professor while going to classes himself.

Mack is on the baseball team and is wicked smart but as shy as they come. Giant teddy bear!

Paxton is the quiet reserved one but you know what that means!

His twin Parker is the bad boy who also has a slight obsessive tendency and when he finds Posey he does things his way...in a controlled way.

The steps this pack had to take in order to figure things out was perfect for the setting of the story. It aligned with the ages of the characters and what you would expect - nothing out of left field.

I would have loved to have more POV's from the twins. I feel like a little more from them could have made them more integral to the story since they are part of the pack.

I do love how the story ended and that everything was wrapped up nicely.

I can't wait to see what's next for Lainey although I have a felling I know two of her pack members already and why she sent Posey to a certain place!

Thank you Hallie Grace for letting me read an early copy of this book!

ARC REVIEW⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

College life, pack drama, and fate? Yes please. 🧡

I absolutely loved this omegaverse college romance. The fear of an omega not finding her pack was so real throughout the story, and you could feel how much it weighed on her. Meanwhile the alphas were being a little sneaky behind the scenes, and watching everything slowly fall into place had me hooked. Knowing she was theirs but wanting her to realize it on her own. 🩷🩷 swooning🩷🩷

The connection happens fast, but hey that’s what scent matches do, and you just know it’s meant to be. Their chemistry, their protective alpha energy, and the way they instinctively come together for her made this pack impossible not to love. Jude- the grumpy professor with his hidden secret, Mack- the golden retriever who you just fall in love with, Paxton- the quiet shy twin and Parker- the moody yet protective twin. Posey has it made and I’m all here for it. Her love for her alphas is phenomenal and she didn’t realize how much her omega heart needed it.

The quirky banter, and the tension between everyone, it made the story so fun while still pulling at your heart.

This book perfectly blends sweet, chaotic college moments with the intensity of finding the pack you were always meant for… and I loved every minute of it.

If you enjoy omegaverse, college romance, protective alphas, scent matches, and great banter, this one should definitely be on your TBR. 🐺

Oh my what a cute story. This is my first book of Hallie’s and I loved it. There’s just something about the omegaverse that I can’t get over.
Hallie gives us a cute story that not only has the spice but also some conflict. The guys and posey are neighbors but don’t know it yet. The guys end up figuring out they have a scent match living next door but don’t know who she exactly is. Posey and 3 of the alphas end up sending notes and goodies back and forth before they even meet. I thought it was a cute way for them to get to know each other a little without freaking the little omega out. Posey ends up meeting the guys one by one and is drawn to them all, not only by their scent but by their personalities. McKenzie is a big alpha, but he’s just a golden retriever boyfriend. Parker and Paxton are twins but only in looks. Paxton is shy and sweet while Paxton is kind of a grump. And Jude is the pack leader who loves his pack fiercely but he’s also a grumpy puss. Jude is kind of an alpha hole in the beginning and hurts posey’s feelings. He wasn’t trying to be malicious, he just thought he was protecting her and I am so glad that it doesn’t last long or else he would be on my shit list. Even though it takes Jude a little while, they all love and adore posey and would do anything for her. They all even have cute little nicknames for her. Thought it was adorable. I’m excited to read the next book and read all Lainey’s(posey’s bff/Jude’s half sister) love life.

Thanks to Hallie Grace for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

An Omega’s Guide to Falling in Love is the literary equivalent of curling up with a perfect cup of tea (with a sweetie treatie on the side, obviously), comforting, warm, and quietly indulgent. It’s one of those books that feels gentle in the best way: cosy without being dull, emotional without ever tipping into heavy melodrama.

What I loved most was the thread of female empowerment woven throughout the story. It’s present in a way that feels natural and genuine rather than performative. The characters support each other, set boundaries, and insist on being valued exactly as they are. "If they can't appreciate a woman with a zest for life, they aren't the people for you anyhow." I shrug, because she's not wrong. It perfectly captures the book’s heart, the idea that love should never require shrinking yourself.

The romance itself is sweet, tender, and incredibly easy to sink into. The pacing makes it very bingeable, with just enough emotional depth and tension to keep the pages turning while still maintaining that cosy vibe.

If you enjoy soft, comforting omegaverse stories with strong themes of consent, self-worth, and finding people who truly appreciate you, this one is a delightful treat. A warm, delicious read that’s easy to devour in one sitting.

We're heading to Harbor U where one omega is about to meet her scent-sensitive pack and...they're her next door neighbors. Which works nicely when all is said and done.

But first! The pack next door isn't exactly looking for an omega. To be fair, one of them is hiding a secret that has him trying to convince himself that an omega isn't for him. In fact, Jude tries to keep his distance from the sweet lady who he can't get out of his head because he doesn't want to hurt her. Parker, Paxton, and McKenzie don't have the same hang-ups, though, and they manage to orchestrate meetings with Posey one at a time.

But there's still the Jude issue. Fortunately, he reaches a point where he spills the beans to his pack and they help him figure out what to do about his issue. Then it's just a matter of treating Posey like the treasure she is and convincing her to forgive him (which she honestly does pretty quickly because she's a sweetheart who's wildly attracted to all her men, even the surly one).

A new town with a new school, new friends, an unexpected heat (or two), four men who are utterly dedicated to their lady's well-being, and a lady who is learning what it means to stretch her wings and find her people. *thumbs up*

An Omega’s Guide to Falling in Love - Hallie Grace
4.5/5✨🌟

* SPOILERS *

I love me a good omegaverse, especially when an alpha repeatedly pushes her away. I was smitten with this story from the beginning to the end.

Parker, Paxton, Mack and Jude are a pack and when they all meet Posey at different times, I just knew these guys were going to be so exciting. Mack and Jude were my favorites of the alphas.

I also loved how Mack, who is the biggest of all of them, was the virgin and the way he told her he was inexperienced was just too adorable.

Three of the four alphas want an omega but when you find out why the fourth alpha doesn’t want an omega, it makes sense. When that alpha redeems himself, I was all for it.

I also love how we get to see Posey’s parents communicating with her through the book because a lot of omegaverse books when the omega gos to college, the parents are suddenly not there, so I really love that so much. I also love how we get the found family aspect in this book too.

This book had so many cute and funny moments. I loved the start of the book how thy communicate though notes. Gosh, that was super cute. I cannot wait for the next book.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

I received a free copy of this book and i'm voluntarily leaving a review.

Posey is an Omega who moved to live and study on campus. But she hopes to meet her scent matches. However, the first week of school doesn't go the way she hoped. After noticing a scent, she enters her first heat, which traumatized her for doing it again.

Over the coming weeks, she meets every Alpha in different ways, not knowing that they are the pack next door. She isn't sure how she feels about them, but her Omega is eager to get to know them all better.

Packleader Jude, Mack, Parker, and Paxton are a pack of best friends. The pack leader is not looking for an Omega for an important reason and is actually even anti-Omega at first. It is also a book that speaks about a sick alpha, usually the omega is touch-starved, but here it is an alpha who is sick because he cannot find his scent match. But the rest of the pack are sold from the first sniff of Posey's scent.

It is a very sweet Omegaverse, without fear, OWD, third break up, cheating... the spice was Chef's kiss, and the characters are very distinct; everyone has a different personality, but they blossom very beautifully together. This is the first book by her that I am reading, and I already can't wait for Laineyn's story!

Thank you Hallie for the ARC! This was such a fun read. I really enjoyed it and read it in one day! It's easy to read and the characters bring the reader a lot of joy.

Posey is really cool and definitely is individualistic but I will say the more she bonds with her Alphas the less that is the focus. Now the guys...Jude. We love a broody Alpha! He is on the verge of being a rabid alpha so he needs to bond with an Omega/his scent match ASAP. He is a professor/PhD student and she is his student so there is the dynamic BUT in this world scent matches supersede all of that. Paxton, Parker, and Mack are all really sweet and they each have their own povs. I do wish we could have gotten to know Paxton and Parker a bit more. Hallie does a good job of making each Alpha distinct.

And of course the spice! There was a lot of it and it was what one would expect from an Omegaverse book! It was fun to read. I will say it was a bit tame in comparison to some other Omegaverse books I've read but I digress. It in no way took away from the story.

I'm looking forward to reading the sequels and exploring the world of Harbor U more! Can't wait to read Lainey's story next!

ARC Review:

The way I didn’t want to stop reading this book. I even snuck in a few pages whenever I had a spare moment at work. It’s such a cozy omega read with low angst. Posey is such a charming character; she left for college to explore and grow, unbeknownst to her, that her neighbors were her scent matches.

It was swoon-worthy that they knew who she was and did everything in their power to meet her while letting her figure out that they were scent matches. Her first encounter with a member of the pack, Paxton, at the coffee shop was cute—they were both nervous, but hit it off.

The Madden pack consists of a group of great alphas. Mack, the golden retriever, who wears his heart on his sleeve. Parker, the grumpy alpha with a softer side—like when he made her sourdough bread. Then there's the sweet twin with a hint of dominance, Paxton. And then there's Jude, the professor with a secret that is affecting his pack and his scent match.

It was satisfying to see Mack confront Jude about how his behavior was hurting Posey. I really enjoy it when a main character works for the main female character's forgiveness. I love how the pack embraces Posey for who she truly is, even her bratty side. The scene where they had to meet her family was very wholesome.

Chapters 43-44 were pure perfection! I can't wait to read the next book!

Thank you Hallie Grace for the ARC!

I really loved pack Madden!! Posey was the cute southern belle omega to complement Jude's grumpiness, Mack's golden retriever energy, Paxton's shyness and Parker's stalker tendencies. I really loved how they all came together to get a little of each of Posey's "firsts".

I really enjoyed her journey with Jude. I love a feral alpha plot line so i loved seeing Jude's rabid tendencies being softened by Posey. Her sunshine nature was the perfect contrast to his storm cloud.

I also loved all the little things about each alphas.

I loved how shy Paxton was but also how steady and thoughtful he was. He always had everything thought through without needed to be told.

I loved how over the top Parker was. He let nothing stop him from loving Posey. He was super sweet when he wanted to be and found the joy in small gestures.

And MACK!! I adored Mack. I loved his nervousness about being inexperienced and how that plot line came about. I also loved how he excited he was to just find Posey. he didn't question anything, just went with it and wanted to love her.

I really loved this story and can't wait for Lainey!!

This book is just pure cuteness, fluffy romance about four alphas and an omega navigating their way to packed life and I loved every moment of it! It is very low angst, only surrounding Jude's attitude with his condition. This had comedic elements, plenty of fluff of them spoiling Posey and I'd day medium spice but still good. This was devoured as soon as I started reading and didn't want it to end. Can't recommend this enough and excited for Lainey's story! Really liking the universe of Harbor U so far!

There was no favourite alpha for me in this pack though Mack is definitely inching his way to first! Mack is definitely the heart of the pack with how sweet he is. Parker and Paxton were the perfect blend of opposites personality wise but dipping into those more confident/sweet roles the other prefers. Paxton is the quiet, sweetheart twin whereas Parker is definitely the standoffish twin who I loved his sweet moments with Posey. Jude finally won me over with his opening up about his past and family and was just another sweetheart under his stubborn, surley exterior. The brunch date showed his true sweet side and loved it.

A true 5-star experience♥️💜🥰

Spice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (out of 5 🌶️)

This is a 💛M/FMMM BOOK 📖

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "If 'Book Hangover' was a medical diagnosis, I’d be in the ICU right now. This story hit every single emotional note with the precision of a world-class orchestra. It has that rare 'vacation magic' where you forget your own name for 300 pages and then wake up at the end feeling like a brand new person. A true 5-star experience is supposed to feel like a high-end holiday for your imagination, and this one delivered a first-class ticket. It has that sense of completion that is so hard to find where every thread is tied, every emotion is earned, and you’re left sitting in silence for twenty minutes after the final period just staring at the wall. It’s that 'magical vacation' vibe where you’re sad it’s over, but you’re so filled with the warmth of the journey that you can’t even be mad at the flight home.
