Impressive work that combines all the sruving manuscripts of the Chronicles in Old English! To say that I read through and through would be a lie but it was very useful for my research.

This edition contains the Parker (A) text alongside the Peterborough (E), but it also includes excerpts from the other versions of the Chronicle. It's a shame it hasn't been re-issued since 1962, since it is incredibly helpful to compare different version of events to find regional biases in their writing of British history. The dictionary is very good, as well. I would definitely use this text if I taught a course on the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle.
