Eerie Estes Mysteries #5

Steeping On Ice: A Paranormal Cozy Mystery

Rate this book
When the grudge runs colder than a Colorado winter.

Ellie Read's first Winter Arts Festival in Estes Park should have been a peaceful celebration of ice sculptures, funnel cakes, and cocoa. But when the snow angel sculpture is unveiled, she realizes it will be anything but. And when Detective Morrison confirms the victim was stabbed, suddenly the glittering world of competitive ice sculpting doesn't look so pristine. Bitter rivals. Stolen designs. Death threats hurled across frozen landscapes. Where does it stop?

Then, because running a book and tea store and solving a murder is never enough, Ellie finds herself contending with a Southern ghost with a fifty-year-old cold case and zero boundaries.

A killer on the loose, and a ghost won't leave Baxter alone. And Ellie? She's in way over her head. But when has that ever stopped her?

I hope you see this

I was born and raised in Colorado. It is surprising how much your hot springs at Estes seemed to the ones that I knew by the name of Glenwood springs. I spent my graduate gift from my parents there and that
Was a long time ago so it might have changed. My granddad and his wife owned a store called Castle of the Dolls in Estes park Colorado it was next door to a candy shop where they pulled salt water taffy in the window. Thank you for all the memories that reading your books have given me. I miss Colorado. I live in Texas now. I would live to hear from you . my name is christine dunne and my email is dunnechristine698@gmail.com

Steeping on Ice

Winter in Estes is another exciting season of murder and mystery. The festival season in full swing and an ice sculpture competition is just one puzzle to solve. This is another fun filled escapade to escape reality for a few hours to return to a now familiar bookstore and a group of sweet ladies who are curious and resourceful at solving crimes. Not to mention ghosts looking for help clearing their name from a crime 50 years ago. I loved the book and have ordered the next book ! I want to go back to Estes to see what comes next and hope another book is being written right now ,so I can continue my "Estes adventure" for a little longer!

A Very Cosy Mystery

This was a very cosy, fun book to read. The editing could have been tighter, but the editing errors were minor. Estes Park seems like it would be a great place to visit. The characters were easy to like. A fun series to read.

I liked that Ellie helps the spirit's. Love the friendship among Ellie and her friends. Love Baxter and Hobbs. Poor detective
Noah gets no respect. And it is very satisfying when the mysteries are solved and new ones begin.
