She's the recipient of the 2019 LITA Golden Duck Notable Picture Book Award, honorable mention for the Tofte/Wright Children's Literacy Award and a nominee and runner-up for multiple state book awards.

Stef loves to travel with her college sweetheart husband and three historically and literary named boys. They currently reside in Brookfield, Wisconsin with their Goldendoodle, Bobby Franklin.
