Mars has been in rebellion against it's overlord, the self appointed emperor of earth. But the rebellion was put down and things slow return to normal for cargo ship captain, Daniel Meredith, about set out on his last trip, after which he will be replaced by an AI flight computer. However, a last might addition to the cargo, a political prisoner, changes his life forever.
This is a nice space adventure thriller set in 2145. Nothing complex but entertaining, just the way I like.
