Kujeilijajumala Loki saapuu klassikkosarjaan!

Moni jo isovanhemmaksikin ehtinyt muistaa Tammen kultaiset kirjat omasta lapsuudestaan. Ehkä pienet lukijat vuorostaan löytävät sarjan kirjoista tarinoita, joita he muistelevat vielä vuosikymmentenkin päästä.

Some of the illustrations are two-page spreads, so you definitely need to have the iPad in landscape view for the full effect. I thought they were really well done - I love the art style.

I think it follows the comics more than the movies? Discusses Loki staying on Asgard when Thor came to Earth, and how he visits occasionally to prank his brother. This is just a cute story about when one of those pranks go wrong, and the pair must team up to correct things.

This book was so cute. I like how they just disregard everything in both the movies and the comics just to make it cutesy for tiny children. I knew this had to be my first book of the year. Just something to make me smile.

"Loki is a sorcerer. He uses his magic to make mischief."

I had no plans to read this book, but then my huge Loki fangirl of a mother bought it and said it was cute, so here I am, and honestly, I really liked it. It was not a strict adaptation of a marvel film or show, but its own little story. This book is for very small kids, like all Golden Books are, but honestly you don't have to be a kid to appreciate a cute story with some cute art!

This book is all about siblings and how brothers can fight and be jealous sometimes but can also make up and work together despite those arguments. Loki and Thor are a very fun duo and I do love them in the films, so getting this super adorbs little story of them was fun.

I liked this book quite a bit. It takes a few minutes to read it cause it is for children, but it was still a good time, and I particularly loved the art and the way the artist drew the brothers. If you like the MCU, I'm sure you'd have a good time, and apparently my mom had a whole lot of feelings reading this as a huge Loki fan, so I guess if you are a fan, you too might get some good old fashioned feels.

The story and artwork are adorable! This comforted me and put a smile on my face while I was recovering from oral surgery.

Starts with an introduction to the movie version of Loki, but then there's a quick, original adventure where Loki's mischief creates a little trouble for himself.

I bought this because I’m a Loki fan and also a fan of this illustrator. It was very cute 😊

Also as a Loki fan I am glad to say that this book very clearly says that Thor and Loki are not only brothers, but also best friends - which is a all-to-frequently overlooked aspect of their relationship.

Loki causes some trouble in this, and after it is all fixed Thor forgives him.

This book could easily be used to prompt a discussion with one’s kid regarding the desire to act out or cause trouble in order to get attention, the necessity of communicating one’s feelings beforehand so that whatever is upsetting one can be resolved, and that no matter what, their loved ones will always be there to help them through it. 😌👍
